Supernatural Is Not Real

God

"I do not believe that which cannot be explained by Since, Logic, or Reason. There is no such thing as the Supernatural."

So do you believe in God? Yes? You believe in the Supernatural. Do you believe in Evolution? Yes? Then you believe in the Supernatural. As a matter of fact, if you believe in Evolution minus God, then you have even more Faith in the Supernatural than you need to believe in God. Don't believe me?

What if I told you that I too believe in Evolution? I really do. There really is a natural Evolution to all things in this World, Universe, and in Time itself. Species have evolved over time. Some have become extinct. Some have evolved to adapt to their environment. Think of the Mole. They have eyes. Yet they are blind. Why? ?They live under ground and do not need to see. They have Evolved. We have Evolved. We once rode around on Horses, and thought the World was flat. Now we have Laser Beams and Space Travel. There is a natural Evolution to all things.

However, what becomes the Supernatural, is how did it all begin? I believe simply, "In the beginning God." I have Faith that there is, was always, and will always be, God. God is eternal. He was always here. He will always be here. So I have no problem believing that, since He was already here,,,

{Genesis 1:1-5}
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day."
You say, "There is no God." I'll leave Psalms 14: 1 out here for the sake of discussion. But you say, "There is no God." So you have to have Faith that the Supernatural happened. First, you have to believe what is Scientifically and Mathematically impossible, actually happened. You see, it really is simple, and a fact, that nothing subtracted from nothing is nothing. Nothing added to nothing is nothing. So if there was nothing, then where did the first something come from? Remember, nothing is nothing. Zero. There is nothing in Zero.

Then you have to believe, that this "something" most claim to believe was a single cell organism, just appeared from nothing, and landed in a puddle of ooze. Where did the ooze come from?? But anyway, it landed in this puddle of ooze. and became all things we have today. Forget that with our understanding of DNA, we know that we are not related to a Tree. Hot blooded, cold blooded, Man, Fish, Birds, Flowers, and even that pesky Misquote. We all came from this one single celled organism.

They only reason I can see anyone, with even a modicum of intelligence, overcoming these to indisputable flaws in the Evolution absence God argument, is their refusal to accept the thought, of anything greater than themselves. They do not want to believe that there is a God. That there is a Moral Code. That there really are absolutes. Good and Evil. Heaven and Hell. Consequences for actions. Someone who WILL Judge them in the end..

So when you ask them, "Where did the First something come from? And, how are we not all related if we did indeed come from that one single cell organism." They usually come back with "Just because we do not understand it, doesn't mean it didn't happen." So OK. Just because you do not believe in God, does not make Him any less real. Which takes more Faith to believe in? What is more Supernatural? Believing that the first something was God, or that something came from nothing?

You cannot explain how all things came into being. I can..
"And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day.

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."
Now I ask you again, where did the first something come from? How did all things come from that first something? Where did that famous and all creating puddle of Ooze come from? "Well,, we do not have all the answers yet, but there is no God."

{Sigh} Either way, we both believe in the Supernatural. You believe what your beloved Science and Mathematics tell us is impossible. I believe in a All Powerful, All Knowing, Eternal God. I believe in a God, who created then flooded the Earth. I believe in a God that fed millions in a Desert. I believe in a God that rained down fire and Brimstone on entire Cities that Sinned. I believe in a God who laid down His Godhood, and came to Earth as a little Baby, just to die for our Sins. We, will talk about the Supernatural Jesus next time. I believe in a God, that fed 5000 with five loaves of bread, and two fishes. I believe in a God who is coming again. This time to call His Children Home, and wipe out Sin totally for a Thousand years.

You cannot say you do not believe in the Supernatural, and you believe in God at the same time.Then again, you cannot say you do not believe in the Supernatural and yet, you do not believe in God. Sorry, but the Supernatural is very Real. Next time we will discuss Jesus. Then we will wrap it up with Man himself. We are Supernatural in a Natural World.

As for today, let's talk about something else Supernatural. You are going to die. However, that is not the end. As I have shared before, I would rather believe in a Living God, and come to nothing, than to believe in nothing and come to God. We have all Sinned and we are worthy of death. Yet, out of His abundant and ever lasting Love for us all, He has made the way of Life simple. His name is Jesus. To escape Judgement, and even Death itself, all you need to do is say a Prayer.

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray..

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}
