2 Chronicles 7 God's Part

Now it's Time for God to do His part

We have been discussing 2 Chronicles 7:14. Here it is..

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

So now we have done our part. We have done the "If." We heard and accepted the Call. We received the Spirit of Adoption. We humbled ourselves. We learned to Pray the correct way. We decided to put God first in our lives. We then discovered the Sins in our lives and we have turned away from them. Now it's time for God to do His part.

Notice the first thing God says is His part. He will Hear us..."Wait. Are you saying that God does not even hear the Prayers of those who are NOT His Children?" Yes. In the simplest way to understand, the answer is yes. God does NOT hear your Prayer if you are NOT His.

{Proverbs 15:29}

"The Lord is far from the wicked, But He hears the prayer of the righteous."

Even the next verse in 2 Chronicles 7, tells us this...

"Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place."

It would be like me, sitting in my Chair in my House, attending to my Children. My Sons Joshua and Elijah, my Daughter Maya, are all in the room before my chair. They are talking with me, laughing, crying, being celebrated. I am teaching them about Life itself. I am loving them, caring for them. I am their Daddy. They call out my name and I respond "Hear I am." I call out their name, they say "Hear I am.."

Now all of a sudden, from the outside, I hear a voice. "Hey you. I see how you treat your kids. I want some of that. Give it to me. I want money, fame, or whatever. I want people to be jealous of me. I want the freedom they have. Give it to me.." So I send Joshua to the door. He says to you, "Here is the key to the front door. Use it. Come in through the Door, and we will show you where the Father is." He then closes the door again.

So there you are, standing there. With the Key in your hand. You decide, you do not like the Key. You decide that you do not want to come in through the Front Door. You think to yourself, there has to be another way in. Or you think to yourself, that you do not even have to come in. So you stand there yelling. I can no longer hear you. You have been given an opportunity. Or, you try to come in a Window, or back door. In which case you will not be welcomed.

Jesus tells us plainly...

{John 10:7-11}

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep."

Now let's say you decide to use that key, and you do come in the Front Door. Then Joshua, or Elijah, will step aside and you can then boldly walk into the same room. You can stand before me. I will then say to you, "Do you wish to be my Child?" You say "Yes." I then say to you. "If you turn away from the things of your past, and you do as I say to you. You can keep that key. You can then come and go as the rest of my Children. There will therefore no longer be any difference in you or them."

God does hear you yelling outside. But He does not hear you. He already gave you the Key. His name is Jesus. He already gave you instructions on how to use the Key. His Word. He is caring for and meeting the needs of His own Children. It is up to you, to use the Key or not..

If you Humble yourself, learn to Pray, seek Him, and turn away from your Sin, THEN He will Hear you..

Jesus tells us this...

{Matthew 6:6}

"But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you."

Why? Because you are now his Child. He will hear you. It's not about what others see. It's not about being a good {Whatever Religion you chose} It is about that private, one on one relationship between you and Him. Then the next thing He tells us is that He will not only Hear us, but He will??

"Forgive their sin"

"You mean there is no forgiveness of Sin, without accepting your narrow minded, hypocritical, hate filled view of Christianity?? I do not believe that Jesus is the only way. I do not believe as you do. I do not believe that Abortion is Sin. I do not believe being Gay is Sin. I believe that as long as I'm a good person, I will get to Heaven. I do not need your Bigoted, Chauvinistic, Hate filled, Ignorant view of God. My God is forgiving, loving, and loves all His Children.."

I understand and can even appreciate your compassion. However, Jesus came and died for your Sins. He did not come and die so you can continue in your Sin. He made the way simple. All you have to do is accept His sacrifice for a substitute for your very Life. Yet rather His Resurrection so that you may live. If you have Humbled yourself, Pray this Prayer..

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done.

{Romans 10:9}

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You

{Colossians 3:10}

"have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him."

He has forgiven you of all your Sins right now. He has erased the Slate. Blotted out your Sin. It doesn't matter who you were. It does not matter what color you are. Where you come from. How big or little your Bank Account is. Now He tells us we need to Seek Him first, before all things, and

"Turn from our wicked ways;"

It does not say, say sorry and continue to live as you will. It says "Turn from our wicked ways;" Then He can forgive us. Then He can bless us. Then will He,,,

"heal their land."

Now of course, God is talking to the individual. But God is also talking to entire Nations. What does this mean??

{Deuteronomy 11:26-28}

"Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known."

God tells us that the Choice is ours. Follow Him and His way, be Blessed, or go it on our own, and we will not be blessed. He will give us up to the imaginations of our own mind. To the desires of our own Heart. We will die in our Sins. The choice is ours to make.

Remember Paul wrote this in Romans 1:21-25

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen."

Will America, the Country Founded on Religious Freedom, and on the Gospel, fall? Look at the state of things. We have removed God. We removed Him from Government. Look at the garbage we have now. We removed Him from Schools. Look at the garbage we have now. We removed Him from Society. Look at the garbage we have now. The Moral decline in this Country has jumped to Wrap Speed. If we do not put God back in the equation, America WILL fall.

However, God is also talking to the individual. Put God into your own Life, and seek Him first, and He will Bless you Blessings that cannot be measured. He will meet your needs. He will protect you from Evil. He will Save your very Soul. Chose not to add God to the equation of your Life? Then you are on your own and you will receive reciprocity. There are consequences for actions. Touch the open flame, get burned. Don't touch it, don't get burned. ETC.

God loves you. He loves each and every one of you. He will forgive you of your sin, just like he forgave any for their sin. As long as they repent, or turn away from Sin. Saul was equal to Hitler, Jesus forgave him, he became Paul. He wrote a lot of the New Testament. However, he was not still killing God's chosen people at the same time. Matthew did not continue to oppress people through Taxation. ETC. Jesus will not discriminate. But He will not accept Sin as anything other than what it is. Jesus tells us,,,

{Luke 9:62}

"And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."

You have put off the old man and his Sin. You have become a new Creature. Jesus tells us if we go back to Sinning, they will be worse off..

{Matthew 12:43-45}

"When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation."

To wrap things up, simply put, God promises us, if we do our Part, He will do His. If we follow Him, He will lead us. If we accept Him as our Daddy, He will BE our Daddy. If we repent our Sins, He is just to forgive us. "If" "Then". You do the "If," and He will do the "Then." He already made the way simple and achievable for all to obtain. It's now up to you.

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say the most important Prayer you will ever Pray. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Do not wait too long. Do not doubt. Do not believe in any other way. There is only one Truth. There is only one Way. There is only one Life. His name is Jesus the Christ.
