The Five Steps of an Anointed Life, Glorification

 Glorification

Hello. Today, we will wrap up the series, “The Five Steps of an Anointed Life.” We have already discussed 1-4.

Foreknowledge - God foreknows you before you are even conceived.
Predestination -   God sets a purpose and plan for you and your life.
Calling -              God calls you to accept Him and His plans for you.
Justification -      God justifies you. A time of preparation.

Today, we will wrap it up with step five.

Glorification - God will glorify you following your time here on earth.

Let us pray.

"Father, we come before you with all reverence and praise, and glory be to you. As we enter your Word, we pray that we will indeed have eyes to see, ears to hear, and our spirit may be able to receive your truth and your revelations, in Yeshua’s name, Amen!”

If you have your Bible, turn to Romans 8. We are going to look at 8:16 and 17
“The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,”
Remember, this is after the adoption has taken place. After you say yes to His calling.
“and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.”
We are the same as Yeshua, or Jesus Himself. We are “fellow heirs” with Him. Turn to John 14:2-3
“In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am, you may be also.”
Death is not the end for a child of God; it is not something we should fear at all. God is waiting to glorify His children. If you turn to Revelation 21, you can see a description of what the capital of the new earth will look like.
“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.”
This will happen. Everything you know, some of which you may very well love, will “pass away.” But look what is coming.
“And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."

And he who was seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." Also, he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." And he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty, I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.”

This is for you, child of God. However, this will not be the case for everyone.
“But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death." Revelation 21:1-8
Once again, this will happen. Not maybe, not could, not what if. It is not a matter of if, but when. Want to know more? Read on, and you will see pure beauty that cannot even be comprehended.

This is wonderful news! Ultimately, we will all be glorified by God, and He will wipe away our tears. I want you to pay attention to something important: Paul states that God “glorified” us. This is in the past tense, indicating that it has already happened, right?

When God glorifies us, He does something akin to what He did for Jesus when He exalted Him to His right hand, above all rule and authority. In doing so, God grants us a share in this glory. This is affirmed in Romans 5:2.
“Through him, we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”. Romans 5:2
This is also in 1 Peter 5:1
“So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ as well as a partaker in the glory that is to be revealed.”
A little further in 1 Peter 5, we read this.
“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.” 1 Peter 5:10
This will happen because it has already happened. I’ll say that again. This will happen because it has already happened. You are simply waiting for it to be revealed.
“When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” Colossians 3:4
We are simply waiting to go home. We are no longer citizens of this world; rather, we are already citizens of Heaven.
“Our commonwealth is in heaven, and from it, we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will change our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power which enables him even to subject all things to himself. Philippians 3:20-21
Paul wrote to the Church in Ephesus
"For through him, we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him, you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit." Ephesians 2:18-22
You are a Citizen of Heaven. The Lord of lords, and the King of kings, is your Daddy. You are a Prince or Princess of Heaven. It doesn't matter who you are, or rather, who you were.
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28
We are all the same. We have all been washed clean with the Blood of Christ. The Blood of Jesus. We have all been adopted into the family of God. We are all now citizens of Heaven. This is why we are not to be conformed to this World. Why should we have no fear? As Christ said on the cross, “It is finished.” It is complete. It is done.

Let the world be the world; its fate is sealed. Let the dead bury the dead; their fate is sealed. Let them love money; their fate is sealed. Let them hate God; their fate is sealed. Let them hate you. Instead, be the Child of God He called you to be. Embrace your identity as a Prince or Princess of Heaven. Act as an Ambassador. Be a sower of the Seed and a teller of the Truth.

Yes, at the end of your time here on earth, God will most definitely glorify you. However, He already has. It is finished. We are His. We now wait with all of creation for the return of Yeshua, and the coming of the end of this time. A time when all of the old will be done away with, and the new will come. This includes us. Our old bodies are riddled with sin, sickness, and disease. Our new bodies will be holy and pure.

Look how Romans 8 ends.
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?”
Remember, we are co-heirs with Christ and all that He has, and it is everything that is to come.
“Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.”
Not a man. Not religion. Surely not the world. God.
“Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died--more than that, who was raised--who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.”
He is our defense, and He is our shield. He is our payment. He paid our price with His blood.
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
As it is written,
"For your sake, we are being killed all day long;

We are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered."
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”
He has already overcome the world. He has already paid the price. He said, “It is finished.”
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:31-39
AMEN! And Amen!

Did you say “Yes” when He called you? Is God calling you now? Simply, say this prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be, say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us pray.

"Oh, heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Yeshua's sacrifice for me. I believed He rose from the dead. I repent of my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Yeshua, Amen!"

That's it. It is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, You shall be saved." Romans 10:9. You need to find a Church that God leads you to and be baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A New Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him."Colossians 3:10
