True Meaning of Salvation. Hope

The three gifts of Salvation. Hope

Last time we talked about Love. That without God, you cannot know true Love. God is Love. He is the Creator of Love. He is the one that Loves you most. But did you know that without God, you also have no Hope? Without Jesus, there is no Hope. With Salvation, not only does Love come into your life, but Hope as well. But not just Hope in an afterlife, but Hope in this present time as well.

You see, Life is what it is. There is a time and season for everything.

{Ecclesiastes 3:1-8}
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace."
This is the natural order of things. In that natural order, there is "a time to be born, and a time to die." Death is not a punishment. Death is not a curse. We will all die. All living things die. To everything, there is a beginning, existence, and an end. Death is just a natural part of Life.

So we are Saved from Death? No. No, not the physical death. Even Jesus Himself had to die a physical death. The greatest Saints who had ever lived or walk among us, die physical deaths. There is no avoiding this. It will happen. Unless God chooses to beam you up with your physical body intact, it will cease working, and you will no longer be alive in a physical sense.

Saved from everlasting torment? A place where the Devil runs around torturing you for eternity. Or a place where you will burn in a lake of everlasting fire? Partially. First, this is not an accurate depiction of Hell. That is more Hollywood. But that a side, Why are you waiting until you die to have Hope?

Someone asked me once, "Why do you believe in God? What proof have you? How can you believe in an invisible man in the sky, that is watching you always, waiting for you to mess up? What if you are wrong, and when you die, you come to nothing? Are you not wasting your life away on a lie?" My answer was a simple one. I even posted this answer here before. It is the Truth. It is simple to understand. "I would rather believe in God, and come to nothing, than believe in nothing and come to God."

Those eighteen words changed lives. They make some think about it. If I'm wrong, and there is no God, no anything after, then my brain will stop. I will simply cease to exist. I will go with everyone else into the great nothingness. But if I'm right, I will stand before the God of Creation, and He will say one of two thing to me. Either He will say..
"I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." {Matthew 7:23}
Or
"Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." {Matthew 25:21}
You see, with God, I have Hope. Without God, there is no Hope. With Jesus coming to earth and dying, yet rather rising from the dead, paying the price for me, I have Hope. Without that, I have nothing. Remember, Jesus told us..
"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."{John 3:18}
Without believing in Jesus, you are condemned already. It does not matter how "good" a person you are. It doesn't matter how many good deeds you do. Without Jesus, you are "condemned already." There is no Hope without Jesus.

There are 133 instances of the word "Hope," with 44 of these found in the Old Testament and 89 located in the New Testament. More so in different translations. Converting Charity to Hope, and so on. With God, you can have Hope. With Jesus, you can have Hope. Without God, without Jesus, you can wish. But true Hope is only available to those who have the Truth.

{1 Peter 1:21}
"Who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God."
The promise of Salvation brings true Hope. Along with that Hope, comes Joy.

{Romans 12:12}
"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer."
Once you receive the Spirit of Adoption, you can rest assured that Romans 8:28 now applies to you..
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Hope is not just something to have for what comes next. But rather for the present time as well. We know that we are never again alone. We know, that though trials and tribulations will come, we do not have to face them alone. We know, that the God of gods, the Lord of lords, the Creator of all that is, was, or every will be, is now our Daddy. Our Father. We have become His Children..

{Romans 5:1-21}
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."
Why? How can this be?
"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Again, while we were yet Sinners. In the middle of our Sin. Jesus came to earth and died for us. He did so, not because we were good people. Not because we asked Him too. But rather because God loved us so. We had nothing to do with it. When you come to understand this, and accept Jesus's Sacrifice for you, you then can receive this Hope.
"Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement."
With Jesus, there is forgiveness of Sins and reconciliation with God. Without Jesus, there is not.
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord."
So you can clearly see, without Jesus, there is no Hope. You are condemned already. You are under the Laws of Sin and Death, given to us by Adam. Through Adam, we have all become Sinners from Birth. We all deserve eternal separation from God. Through one man, Mankind fell. So? Through one man, Jesus, Mankind has the Hope to rise from the dead, and become Children of God.

Salvation gives us the Hope, that with God as our Daddy, we can do anything. Jesus tells us ...

{Mark 9:23}
"If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth."
He put it this way as well..

{Matthew 17:20}
"If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."
Without God?

{Matthew 19:26}
"With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."
Without God there is no Hope. No Hope in an afterlife. No Hope from escaping Hell. No help in this present time. We are on our own. But With God, with the Spirit of Adoption, With Jesus, we DO have Hope. We are never alone. We are never forsaken. We are Children of the Most High God. We are Prince and Princesses of Heaven itself. Ambassadors, if you will. We are no longer of the World, but in it. We are Strangers in a Strange Land. Nothing on Earth can take that away. Nothing ever Created can overcome The Creator. We are His.

Do you have this Hope? Is the God of all, The Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and the End, The Creator of all that is, was, and ever will be, your Daddy? Do you know where you are going, after you pass on from this place? If you said no, or even if you said, I'm not sure, then say this Prayer with me. Wherever you are, stop what you are doing, and say this Pray, in your own words...

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}

Until next time, be Blessed, be a Blessing, and Jesus IS Lord..
