As Long As You Live Under This Roof, Adoption

You want the same Blessings? Follow the same Rules.

Last time we talked about the Blessings, you have, in the Family you are in. We talked about the fact that if you want to receive meet for your needs, Blessings, and Peace and Comfort that only your Father can give you, then you need to be under your Father's roof.

I am always there for my three kids. I am there to meet their needs. I am there to bless them with speciel blessings. I am there to teach them. Protect them when they go to sleep. I am there when they wake up. I am there to love them, comfort them, protect them, celebrate with them. As long as they are there, I can do all these things.

However, if they decide to leave, for whatever reason, I will no longer be there. Not because I leave them. I am still in the same place. I am still blessing the others. I am still doing the things I have always done. It was they, who chose to leave. The good news is, I AM still here. If they decide to come back, I will be there to welcome them back with open arms.

Now lets say all is well, and all is right. Josh, Eli, or Maya, bring a, or many, Friends over for play dates. They see all the blessings my kids have. They see how they live. They feel the love. They sense that this is a good place to be. They ask them, "Why is this?" The kids say, "Because our Daddy loves us." They continue to come over, and they realize that this is the way they have never lived. They have never felt this before. They have never experienced the Love of a Father in this way. They ask again, "Why is this? How is it that you get this stuff? How is it you go to these places? Why is it, you seem to have to fear or worries at all?" The kids answer again, "Our Daddy Loves us."

God is the same way folks. He is there for us when we go to sleep to protect us. He is there when we wake up. He will teach you, comfort you, celebrate with you, meet your needs, and bless you. He will "never leave thee, nor forsake thee." He is always there. If someone asks you, "Why is this? How is this?" your answer can be the same, "Because our Daddy loves us."

Now let's say, my children's friends do not have a Father. They are in a bad place in their lives. I ask them,. "You want to become my child?" They say "Yes!" I say to them, enter in, you are now my Child. If you live here, you will follow my rules, and you will have the same blessings as my other Children."

Adoption. Not being born into the Family, but becoming part of it. Becoming the same as those that were born into it.

{Romans 8:14-17}
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together."
Just like my Children's friends, who go through an Adoption Process to make them legally my Children as well, God has an Adoption Process. Without it, you can in no way, nor will you ever, be "Legally" God's Child. You will not be Adopted. You will not be Converted. You will not be, anything more than, perhaps a Foster Child. Getting dibs and dabs of this and that, but never becoming a Child of God Himself.

It is through Jesus, that we can become Children of God.

{Galatians 3:26-29}
"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."
We go from Foster Care to actual Children of God, through this Process. Through accepting Jesus..

{Galatians 4:5-7}
"To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ."
Unlike the World's version, God's Adoption Process is pretty simple. Accept that Jesus came to earth, lived, rather died, and raised from the dead, for YOU, then accept that He will send to you that Spirit of Adoption, then you become a Child of God. Accept the calling. God is the one that calls you to be His Child.. He chooses YOU.

{Ephesians 1:4-6}
"According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved."
There is no more being on the outside looking in. There is no more wondering what it would be like to have God as our Daddy. There is no more wanting what "they" have. We become His Children "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;" We become the same as Him. Think about that.

The other good news about God's Adoption Process, is that it does not matter who you are. It does not matter what you have done, or where you came from. It does not matter what "Religion" you followed. How much you have or don't have. It does not matter if you are Black or White, Male or Female, Rich or Poor, or anything else. God's Adoption Process is all inclusive..

{John 1:12}
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"
ALL who accept this, become the Family of God.

{Ephesians 2:19}
"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,"
Congratulations. You are now a Son or Daughter of God. You are His Child and He is your Daddy. The same Blessings that He Blesses His Children with, He can, and will, Bless you with. You now have a portion of His inheritance.

Now as He tells His own Sons and Daughters, He is now able to tell you as well, for you have become His Son or His Daughter, "As long as you live under my roof, you will follow my rules, and I will always be there for you."

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you.

Why live in a state of Foster Care? Why not become a Child of God? He will never leave you. As long as you do not leave Him. He will be there when you go to sleep, when you wake up, He will Bless you and meet your needs. He will be your Daddy..

Let us Pray..

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. {2 Corinthians 13}

Until next time, be Blessed, be a Blessing, and Jesus IS Lord..
