Proverbs 9

1 Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:

2 She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.

3 She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,

4 Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,

5 Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled.

6 Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

7 He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.

8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

11 For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.

12 If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.

13 A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing.

14 For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,

15 To call passengers who go right on their ways:

16 Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,

17 Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.

18 But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.

God, Government, Man

The Bible tells us we must Obey the Government.

How can you, a "Christian," be so disobedient to our President and Government? You claim you love the Country. You claim you love God. Well, this is America. In this Country, it is Legal for a Woman to chose. It is the Law. It is Legal for Gays to Marry in nearly all States. It is the Law. It is not Legal for you to "Bible Thump" anyone in public. It is the Law. Keep that to yourself. We have a "Wall of Separation" that protects intelligent and caring people, from narrow minded, hate filled people, like you. Besides, since you love the Bible so much, then follow this...

{Romans 13:1-7} (New Living Translation)
"Obey the government, for God is the one who put it there. All governments have been placed in power by God. So those who refuse to obey the laws of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow.

For the authorities do not frighten people who are doing right, but they frighten those who do wrong. So do what they say, and you will get along well. The authorities are sent by God to help you. But if you are doing something wrong, of course you should be afraid, for you will be punished. The authorities are established by God for that very purpose, to punish those who do wrong. So you must obey the government for two reasons: to keep from being punished and to keep a clear conscience.

Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid so they can keep on doing the work God intended them to do. Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and import duties, and give respect and honor to all to whom it is due."
You make some good points. Although, I prefer to use the King James Version, which reads as follows...

{Romans 13:1-7} {King James Version}
"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour."
To me, this sounds a lot like he is talking about the Church. That set aside, there are many passages that talk about following the Law of the Land as well as the Laws of God. Like this one by Peter..

{1 Peter 2:13-17}
"Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king."
Jesus Himself told us similar..

{Matthew 22:17-22 }
"Tell us, then, what you think. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not? But Jesus, aware of their malice, said, Why put me to the test, you hypocrites? Show me the coin for the tax. And they brought him a denarius. And Jesus said to them, Whose likeness and inscription is this? They said, Caesar's. Then he said to them, Therefore render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.”
However, here in lays the problem of your argument. What happens when Man says different than God? Who comes first? Who do you follow? The Creature or the Creator? When Man contradicts God, which do you think, you should Follow?

I think that same Peter, who wrote we need to submit to both Man and God, also answered this question. Following Jesus's death and Resurrection, Peter and the other Disciples were obeying Jesus's Command to Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." {Mark 16:15} They were proclaiming "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”{Acts 4:12} They were arrested and threatened with beatings and Prison if they continued to speak Jesus's Name.

Now you really need to get this. They had no problem with them talking about God. They had no problem talking about the Law, or the Torah, the Bible. They had no problem with them doing God's Work. The only thing that they did have a problem with, was the Name Jesus. The only problem with that is this. Jesus IS the only way to Salvation. Without Him, you have NOTHING.

So they refused to listen to this. They were arrested again..

{Acts 5:27-29}
"And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, Saying, Did not we straightly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men."
You see, Peter understood that we need to do both, follow the Law of the Land, and the Laws of God. He understood, and was there, when Jesus told us to do both. However, when what Man says goes against what God says, it is clear, we are to follow God.

Man says "It's OK to slaughter your unborn child. We will call it a choice. A Woman's Right. After all, it is her body." God says,

{Exodus 20:13}
"Thou Shalt not commit murder."
{Exodus 21:22-25}
"If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe."
Yes, this is talking about Abortion.

{1 Corinthians 6:19}
"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?"
{1 Corinthians 7:4}
"The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife."
Man says "It's OK to be Gay. Gays should have the 'Right' to Marry and receive benefits for doing such." God says?

{Leviticus 18:22}
"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."
{Ezekiel 16:49-51}
"Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good. Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done."
Substitute America, for Samaria here.

By the States deciding the way they have, they not only condoned Homosexuality, but rather justify it. They said it's now OK. And they also said, anyone who speaks out against it, is committing Sin. America, a Country Founded on the Gospel, a Country Founded on Freedom to Worship the God of the Bible, A Country who formed it's Laws after the Laws of God, has made Sin, Good, and Good, Sin. When reading the following, I want you to think about America. Think about all those Founding Documents that clearly State God, love of God, Honor of God, Thanks being to God, and think about how far we have gotten away from God. The Word declares,

{Romans 1:18-32}
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."
Are we to obey the Government? Are we to obey the Laws of the Land? Of course we are. However, when the Government, and the Laws of the Land start to oppose the Laws and the Commands of God, then it is crystal clear, God comes first. No matter what. Sin is still Sin. Good is still Good. Right and Wrong have not changed. It does not matter what Man says. There is no compromising God. There is no compassion in justifying Sin. Where is the compassion in allowing someone to Sin their way to Hell?

Will all accept what you say? No. Will all hear the Truth and rejoice? Nope. Will all see what is going on in this Country right in front of their face? No. It is not your Job to convince them. Simply tell the Truth, and even more importantly, live your Life the way you should. You are not accountable for their acceptance. They are accountable for their own actions. Always remember, God comes first..

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray..

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}

Merry Christmas

The real reason for the season.

Matthew 1:

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.

Luke 2:

1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.

2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

May you all have a very Merry Christmas, and always remember, there is nothing wrong with lights on the Tree, nor Presents under it, as long as you never forget, the reason for the season is the Gift God gave to all mankind. Merry Christmas and a very Happy and Healthy New Year. Be Blessed, be a Blessing, and Jesus IS Lord.

Proverbs 8

1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

2 She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

4 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.

5 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

11 For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.

16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.

17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.

19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

22 The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.

25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.

33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.

34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.

36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

The Gift Series, Part 3

Always Be Prepared

Never be ashamed.

Think about it. You were once a wretch. A Sinner. Walking in the flesh. Born to die. You were once like the worse Sinning, filthy, repulsive, poor excuse for a Human Being, that is walking the Earth today. Now? Now you have accepted The Gift. Now, you are a new creature. You have been adopted into the Family of God.

{Romans 8:15-17}
"For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together."
You

{Colossians 3:10}
"have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him."
How did you do this? You simply accepted The Gift. The Gift is Jesus. Rather His sacrifice for you. His blood for your blood. His suffering of the punishment of Sin, the end result of which is death, for your suffering. His death, yet rather Resurrection, as payment for you. He died so that you may have Eternal Life. Not just Eternal Life, but to improve your life today.

{John 10:10,11}
"I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep."
Remember what Jesus said to Peter? Peter was bragging that they left all to follow Him. Then asked Jesus what they receive for doing so. What did He tell Peter?

{Mark 10:29,30}
"Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life."
This is The Gift. This is the Truth. Not something to be rejoiced over, played with, and left in the corner to be forgotten. THIS is the ultimate Gift. You have become a Child of God. Jesus came and suffered torture, abuse, and death, for YOU. All you did, was accept the Gift. So now what? Well, Peter tells us, all Saved, all Children of God, that we must all be prepared to share this Gift.

{1 Peter 3:15}
"but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,"
Remember what Jesus told us?

{Matthew 10:32-33}
"Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heavenBut whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven."
Let's look at this a bit closer.
"Honor Christ the Lord as Holy."
First, as a new Believer, you must learn who the Christ is. Get filled up with the Bread of Life, The Word. Get filled up with the Waters for the Eternal Spring. The Word. Spend time getting prepared in knowledge and wisdom. Grow in Christ. Gain knowledge of the Truth, so that your life can become Blessed and you may become a Blessing to others. Become Obedient to Him. His Will and His Way.
"Always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you."
Someone comes to you and says something to the effect of "You know, I noticed you seem to worry about little to nothing. I noticed that you seem to always look for the silver lining in all things. What's up with that?" Or, they come to you and ask, "What makes you so sure your way is better than any other. Seriously. There are a lot of Religions out there. What makes you think you are right?"

Your answer? What do you say? How do you respond? Do you say, "It's just something I believe."? Do you say, "I have faith that Jesus is Lord, but if you believe something else, cool."? Or do you say nothing? What do you say? Why not tell the truth? Say,,,,

{John 3:16-18}
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting lifeFor God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. The Muslims think they are right. The Buddhists think they are enlightened. The Jews do not believe in Jesus. So what makes you right and them wrong?"

{John 14:6-7}
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by meIf ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him."
"So you are saying without Jesus, they are all wrong. And you are right?" The answer, simply put, is YES. You may even want to share with them this...

{John 10:1-10}
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robberBut he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheepTo him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them outAnd when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voiceAnd a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheepAll that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pastureThe thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
The simple answer is YES. Without the key, you by no other means enter the Kingdom of God. Will this offend people? Yup. However, just because one may become offended at the Truth, doesn't change the Truth. Jesus came, suffered, and died for you, and you, are worried about offending someone with The Truth?

{Hebrews 10:22-24}
"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:"
Always be prepared to share the simple Truth. It's not that difficult. You do not have to have a PhD, or have spent your life in a Monastery. All you have to tell them is about what Jesus did for them. For us all. They take it as close mindedness, and exclusive to only a handful of people. They see it as some kind of exclusive club that keeps everyone that does not look like, or think like them out. The ignorant sees Faith in God, through Jesus the Christ, as equal to man-made Traditions called Religion. It's not. It's not exclusive. It's inclusive. It's not Religion, it's Salvation.

{Romans 10:8-15}
"But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Not, as long as you follow this or that, man-made Doctrine. These or those Tenets. Dress this or that way. Be born into this or that Tradition. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
"Yet do it with gentleness and respect."
As a Child of God, you are also a Sower of the Seed. God calls on us to share The Gift and share it freely. Peter said to the Beggar "Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee:" {Acts 3:6}

Timothy tells us,,,

{2 Timothy 4:2}
"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine."
In his letter to the the new Children of God in Colossae, Paul said this.

{Colossians 4:5}
"Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man."
Be prepared "instant." In other words, KNOW the Truth. If someone came to me and asked me to show them how to build a Rocket, I would have to get back with them on this. I'm not a Rocket Scientist. I have no idea. I would have to read and study up on it. If someone came to me and ask my name? Peter. No thought. No hesitation. No worries. "What is your name?" Peter. "How can I be Saved?" Jesus.

This is why it is so important that you learn the Truth. Spend time with God. Allow the Spirit to work in you. So in an instant, once some one comes to you, and they will, and asks you something like, "So Jesus is the only way?" Yup. "Jesus saith, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

"Reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." "Yet do it with gentleness and respect." "Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man." Does this sound like a get in your face, threaten Hell and Fire and Brimstone, message? Nope. Simply tell the Truth, and if they accept it, they shall be Saved. If not, move on. As a Child of God, you are His Disciple. Just like the eleven that Jesus appeared to after His Resurrection. Remember, they went back to their lives as they were, before Jesus. Jesus was upset with them over this.

{Mark 16:14-16}
"Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
The truth is simple. The Gift is Jesus. The Gift is Salvation. There is nothing you can do to enter Heaven of yourself, or by Traditions of Men. By you accepting that Gift, you become a Child of God. There is no other way. God wants you to always be prepared to share the Truth with anyone that asks.

Have you received the Gift? Are you prepared to share it?

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature.

Proverbs 7

1 My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.

2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.

3 Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.

4 Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:

5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.

6 For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,

7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,

8 Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house,

9 In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:

10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.

11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:

12 Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)

13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him,

14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.

15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.

16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt.

17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.

18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.

19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:

20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.

21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.

22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;

23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.

24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.

25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.

26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.

27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

The Gift Series, Part 2

To all the Men out there.

Yes. I'm speaking directly to you. You are the Head of your Household. You are the responsible party. You, and you alone, are the final decision maker, authority, and Law. I know, I know, some of my more Liberal friends with take issue with this. Some Men I know do not want this role. They would rather the Woman handle all things. Or? They have been conditioned to believe that a Marriage is where the two become one, and all things must be agreed upon by a family meeting and even the Children must have a say.

I understand that some see this as old fashioned, outdated, or even oppressive and chauvinistic. However, this does not change the fact it is true.

{1 Corinthians 11:3}
"But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God."
Am I saying that the Woman must submit to abuse and or suffer at the whims of her Husband? Of course not. What I AM saying is that it IS the MAN'S responsibility to be the hunter, gather, protector, provider, comforter, decision maker, and leader. Men, your Wife is a gift from God.

{Proverbs 31}
"Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. She watches over the ways of her household, And does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her:"
I am Blessed enough to say, that I found a Wife that matches this description.

From Eve, the Woman has always been, is, and always will be a Gift from God. She was created FOR Man. To be "an help meet for him." That is to say "one who helps." The Bible teaches that it is the Wife's duty to help her Husband. God said "It is not good that the man should be alone." Therefore He gave Adam the gift of Woman. Men, you are to see her as such.

{Ephesians 5:25-29}
"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:"
Christ laid down His life for the Church. We should have that love for our Wives. Be willing to do anything. Honor her. Love her. Protect her. Cherish her. Never be abusive. Jesus was never abusive to His Church. That is the point. However, YOU, men, are responsible. You are the Captain of the Ship that will take you both through the years on this Voyage called life. Adding Children along the way. Where are you taking them?

Whatever your decision is, it will effect all with you. Under your God given authority. You accept the Gift of Salvation, your entire Household is covered. Don't believe me?

{1 Corinthians 7:14}
"For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy."
In 2 Timothy, we see that once Faith is received into a Family, it remains. It is passed down. Remember, God tells Fathers to raise their Children in The Word. "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." {Ephesians 6:4} Faith can become hereditary.

{2 Timothy 1:5}
"I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well."
I'm getting to it. What about those Households without a Father, Husband? Then the Mother becomes the Household Leader and the responsible party.

Now let's spend some time in Acts talking about Timothy. Timothy's Mother was a Jew, who believed in Jesus. However, his Father was a Greek, who did not believe. Yet, God was able to Bless their House, and rise up a Saint, because of Timothy's Mother.

{Acts 16:1-34}
"Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek: Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium.

Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek. And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem. And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.

Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not. And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis; And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days. And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither. And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us."
Now again, we see one person accepting The Gift, and the entire Household being covered. Being Baptized even. Continue on...
"And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers,  And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city, And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.

And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:

Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.

But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,  And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house."
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Then it tells us the Guard "was baptized, he and all his, straightway." This is why it is so important Men, you accept The Gift. If you do not, perhaps your Wife will. But do not blame the Woman Men. It's didn't work out well for Adam. It will not for your either. Women, if there is no Man in your Household, then the responsibility lays at your feet. Raise your Child on the Ways they should go..

{2 Timothy 3:16}
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,"
Men, YOU are responsible for your Family. But if you fail to assume the role, God will use your Wife. Women, if you are absent a Male in your Household, you become IT. But either way, we see that not only is The Gift the greatest Gift you can ever receive, but that your entire Household can be covered as well, through YOUR Faith.

Once you receive The Gift, it is then vitally important to lay a solid foundation of Faith and Truth of God, in your Children. Which brings us to Part Three. We have discovered that The Gift, is Salvation. Eternal Life. Jesus's Sacrifice on the Cross, His death, yet rather, His resurrection from the dead, so that you may live everlasting.

We have also learned that The Gift, not only covers you, but your entire Household and can become hereditary, if you will, as well. Growing and spreading for Generations. Remember, God has a Plan and a Purpose for your Life and the Life of us all. He may be dealing with you today, so that He can call your Son or even Grandson, tomorrow.

So a gift this important? What do you do with it? Do you receive it with great joy, then put it in the corner to be forgotten? I think not. God says He wants you to always be prepared.

{1 Peter 3:15}
"but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,"
What does this mean? We'll talk about it next time. Have you received The Gift? Are you and your Household covered?

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}

Proverbs 6

1 My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,

2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

3 Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend.

4 Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids.

5 Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.

6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,

8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?

10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:

11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

12 A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.

13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;

14 Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.

15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.

16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

20 My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

21 Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck.

22 When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.

23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

24 To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.

25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.

26 For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adultress will hunt for the precious life.

27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?

28 Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?

29 So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.

30 Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;

31 But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.

32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.

33 A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.

34 For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.

35 He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.

The Gift Series, Part 1

That IS what it is.

Picture this. "Daddy? Daddy? Dad? Daddy? Mommy? Mom? Mommy? Can I have this {This year's must have} for Christmas? I really want it. I need it. All my friends have it. Please? Please? Pretty please? I love you. Can I? Can I? Mommy? Daddy? PLEASE?!?!?"

So what do you do? You save up some money. You go out on Black Friday and stand in line at 3 am. You fight the crowds. You go through all this and turn the corner. Then there is this Ahhh Moment. There it is. Glowing brighter than anything. The gift. The thing your child wants more than anything in the world. The gift that will change their lives. The gift that will make you the Hero. It is done.

You buy it and bring it home. What do you say to your child? OK. You want the gift? Cut the Grass with Scissors, shovel the Snow with a Spoon, scrub the Floor with a Tooth Brush, and comb the Carpet. Then maybe you might receive it? Or? Christmas Morning comes, they wake up, and find it under the Tree?

They open it and celebrate. They laugh, cry, hug you. It is the greatest day of their little lives. They play / use it all day. Nothing else matters. The next day, the same. Then the Holidays end. They go back to school and tell everyone they know that they got the gift.

Then one day, you come home and notice that the gift hasn't moved from where it was from before you went out. Then, before you know it, there it sits. In a corner. Gathering dust. All but forgotten. After all you went through, there it sits. Forgotten.

Well, Christmas Morning is not about presents under a tree. It's not about signing Jingle Bells while roasting Chestnuts on an open fire. It's not about Sugar Plum Fairies, and Gingerbread Men. It's about THE Gift. God did not tell us that if we cut the Grass with Scissors, or shovel the Snow with a Spoon, scrub the Floor with a Tooth Brush and Comb the Carpet, then maybe we might receive it. No. Christmas Morning came, and we found THE Gift in a Manger.

{Ephesians 2:8-9}
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
Jesus put's it this way.

{John 3:1-21}
"There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GodThat which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spiritMarvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these thingsVerily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witnessIf I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly thingsAnd no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heavenAnd as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted upThat whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal lifeFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be savedHe that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of GodAnd this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evilFor every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reprovedBut he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."
God so loved us, that He wanted ALL to be Saved. So He made it simple. He made it all inclusive. It does not matter if you are Rich, Poor, Black, White, Male, Female, ETC. It does not matter if you grew up in the Muslim Religion, Catholicism, Hinduism. It does not matter if you are a Jew, Buddhist, or practice Shinto. It does not matter what you have done in the past. The good, bad, and yes, even the ugly. What must you do to be Saved? Simply believe in Jesus. Allow HIM to be your Salvation. Allow HIS blood to be your blood. Allow HIS death to be payment for your death. Accept the fact that He died, yet rather rose from the dead, so that you may live.

{John 14:6}
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
There is no other way. Sorry. He is the key to the Gates of Heaven. HE is the only way to get there. Nothing else actually matters. Without THE KEY, you will by no means enter. "no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Try to do it another way?

{Luke 12:7-9}
"But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrowsAlso I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of GodBut he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God."
You see, HE is The Gift. HE is the greatest gift you will ever receive. It is that simple. God gave us that Gift on the first Christmas Morning. We found Him in a Manger. Then 33 years later, we went to the Tree and did not find Him under it, but rather ON it. He came, lived as us, and allowed us, His creation, to abuse, torture, and kill Him. For OUR own sake. We did not kill Him, He laid down His life for us..

{Matthew 26:52-54}
"Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the swordThinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angelsBut how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?"
He could have stopped it at anytime. He rebuked Peter who cut off Malchus's ear, when they came to take Jesus. Jesus then turned and healed Malchus, and then willingly walked to His abuse and death. He allow himself to be put to death. It would be like a bunch of Ants telling you they will kill you. All you would have to do at any time is step on them. Instead, you willing walk to where they want to kill you, you lay down, and allow them to kill you. Knowing the whole time, you could destroy all of them with little to no effort. That is the Love Jesus has for us. That God has for us.

It really is this simple.

{Romans 6:23}
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
THE Gift is there. Waiting for each and everyone of us. God put it on the Tree. All we have to do is go to the Tree and get it. When the Head of the Household receives THE Gift, the entire household does as well. It is about Salvation and Eternal Life. Not about Traditions of Men. But Life Everlasting. An Adoption into the very Family of God.

Just like you, being upset, sad, angry, ETC., when you see that gift you got your child, sitting in the corner all but forgotten, imagine how God feels when you do it? He does not want you to receive it, knowing that you got yours so it's all good. He does not want you to put it in a corner and forget about it. He wants to show you what it means. Teach you how to use it. He wants you to get to know the value of it. He wants you to tell everyone you got THE Gift. He wants you to always be prepared to share it with others.

We'll talk more about the fact your entire Household receives it when you do, if you are the Head of Household, and that He always wants you to be prepared to share the Truth with others, coming up in the next few messages. Have you received THE Gift? Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? Have you been to THE Tree? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray..

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}

Proverbs 5

1 My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:

2 That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.

3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:

4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.

5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.

6 Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.

7 Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.

8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:

9 Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:

10 Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger;

11 And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,

12 And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;

13 And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

14 I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.

15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.

16 Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.

17 Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee.

18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

19 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.

20 And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?

21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all his goings.

22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.

23 He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

Coming Up Here at T.A.G.

Tis the Season..

Hey Folks,

First, I Pray that you receive the Peace and Comfort of the Holy Spirit, the Grace of our Lord Jesus. I do truly Pray that you are Blessed each and every time you visit us here at T.A.G., the Truth According to God.

I just wanted to take a few seconds to answer a couple of questions and let you know what to look forward to coming up here at T.A.G. You can think or this as a little look behind the scenes here. Just a chat with Peter, the one that God has chosen to produce this Blog on a Weekly Basis on Wednesday and Sundays.

First, please understand that I do not make a dime on this Blog. It's not about money. I do not allow advertising. I do not ask for money. I do not give you any way to pay anything. Most of you have never met me. I am not important. What is, is The Word of God. What is, is an attempt to share the Truth, and assist Children of God, grow in Faith, and their one on one relationship with God Himself.

The Messages you receive here, are NOT of my opinion or point of view. It is not "my interpretation." It is NOT what "my Religion" says about this or that. The Messages you receive here, are totally and absolutely lead by the Holy Spirit. I'm not that smart. Truth is, I learn more from time to time, than those of you who stop by to read it. There is a whole process that I go through, with every Message.

First, a Seed is planted in my Spirit. Second, The Holy Spirit communes with my Spirit, giving me the reason the Seed is planted. Then He leads me through God's Word, highlighting the appropriate passages, and gives me guidance on the order to present them. Truth is, most of the time, when the Message is ready to Post, I read it myself, and learn as much, if not more than, those of you who read the final Posted version. All the Praise and Glory be to God.

As for the Special Guests? When Special Guests appear here, is it a simple cut and past thing, or do I actually talk to these people? Truth is, I actually reach out and do talk to these Folks that appear here. If I read something that moves my Spirit, or someone points out something they read, I do reach out to the Author and ask for, and receive, permission to share here. I have actually made a few friends doing this. I have also never been told no. You see, most people sharing God's Truth, want to share God's Truth. It is not quite like sharing things where people are making profit from. Fictional Stories, Recipes, Music, whatever. Most who serve our living and True God, WANT the Truth shared. They are not concerned with Credit, or Profit, but Salvation of the Lost. Of course, there is always credit and links provided, for the Guest Bloggers.

So what is coming up? Well, by now you are aware, that we are going through the entire Book of Proverbs. Every Wednesday, we Post a new Chapter. The Book of Proverbs is essential for the growth of any Child of God. It is all about the Wisdom of God vs the Wisdom of the World. Truth is, even though some may seem simple and have a bit of a "duh" factor, they will keep you out of trouble, and keep you on the right path.  King Solomon was said to be the Smartest man to live. God asked him what he wanted, God would have given him anything he said, Solomon asked God for one thing, Wisdom. He called it greater than the finest Gold or Silver, and more precious than the most precious Stones. If the wisest man to ever live considered Wisdom this important, perhaps we should as well.

Tis the Season..We are heading into the Holiday Season. The time when people forget to be grateful for what they have, and go into debt getting those thing they feel they need, either for themselves, or for a loved one. They go out in the middle of the night, stand in long lines, and even get into actual fights, just to get little Johnny, or Suzy, this year's must have. This is not the reason for the Season. It's not about the Presents under the Tree. It is about the Present ON the Tree. It is actually about the Greatest Gift you will ever receive. This is why we are starting a new tradition here a T.A.G. For the Month of December, we will revisit "The Gift" series.

Then after all the mad rush. After all the Presents are opened, and some already forgotten. After all the lights and decorations are put away, what comes next? The New Year. A time for New Year Resolutions. A time for change, and a new hope. I will return and discuss this more in depth on January 1st, 2015. Yeah I know right? 2015? seems hard to believe.

I just want to take a second to wish you all a VERY Merry Christmas, and a Happy and Safe New Year. Until next time, be Blessed, be a Blessing, and may God be with you. Always.
Peter
