Hey Folks, it is that time again. The time when we dedicate Wednesdays to a more in-depth look at an entire Book in the Bible. Starting next week, we will begin in Matthew. This is the first book of the New Testament and the first story of many that tell of our Lord and Savior Jesus, who always was, who created all things, and who came to earth,
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." John 1:1-5He who is God, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." became one of us.
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." John1:14There was only one reason, and one reason alone, that he did this. He came to live as we do, and suffer all Sin and be Crucified, sacrificed, for me and you. For everyone who believes in and receives Him.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God."So who IS Jesus? How did He live? What did He actually say and teach? How did He die? Was that the end? Join us for the next 28 weeks as we go through the Book of Matthew, Chapter by Chapter, one a week. If you have never read Matthew, won't you join us here, every Wednesday, for the next 28 weeks and read for yourself.
As always, you can always reach out to me for questions, comments, or just say "Hi." at opntalk@gmail.com. Join us every Sunday for various Messages, led by God, from His Word, without the Traditions of Men called Religion. Just the Truth According to God.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. 2 Corinthians 13
Until next time, be blessed, be a blessing, and Jesus is Lord!
