Know The Truth, Be The Truth

The Whole Story? 

The only way to truly know the whole story is to be a part of it. We are talking today about the whole Truth. Not this or that part. Not this or that opinion. But the Truth. The Whole Truth. What is your role in it?

First, Truth is Truth. It is what it is. It is a constant. It does not change with the times. It does not change with opinion. It is not relative. It is Absolute. It is the Truth. Truth is. Plain and simple.

Nothing else matters. Truth is. Everything else is perception. Everything else is interpretation. Truth just is. It doesn't have a desire to be justified. It cares not for your opinion or acceptance. It just is, if you believe in it or not. You are either a part of this Truth, or you are a part of a lie.

Take the glass. Half of the glass is liquid. Half is taken up with air. That is the Truth. Now some see it as half full. Some see it as half empty. Some call the liquid in the glass water, since it is clear, to the eye. Some call it alcohol. Some say they do not know what it is. Others may attempt to explain the emptiness of the glass as being oxygen. Some suggest that it is CO2. Some may even say it may be helium.

Then you have those that attempt to justify the glass. Where did it come from? Why is it there? What is the purpose? Is there a deeper meaning than, it is? Some may even argue that the glass is not really there. That it doesn't exist. However, none of this changes the fact that there is a glass. None of this changes the fact that in the glass there is liquid taken up half the space, and there is an absence of liquid taken up the other. That is the truth.

Now many that accept the glass, are right. Those that reject the glass are wrong. In the glass, the liquid is water. Those that accept the fact that it is water, are right. Those that thought it to be, or claim it to be anything else, no matter how clever they may think they are, are wrong. The Truth is. Anything else, is not the Truth, therefore, wrong.

So those that accepted the Truth, are those that are right. Was it the glass that justified them? What about those that were wrong? Did the glass that condemned them? Is it the glass's fault that they fell into false perception? No. The Truth is. It really is just that simple.

Once you know the Truth, you will never fall for the lie. You know your name. That is the Truth. When I was born, I was given the name Peter. That is the Truth. If someone came up to me and said, "Your name is Bob." they would be wrong. I would understand that they are mistaken, or, if after corrected, they continue to call me Bob, I will then know that they are lying and have no desire to know the Truth. So I would no longer waste my time attempting to correct them.

As a Child of God, we oftentimes get discouraged. Especially if we tell someone we love, this is the Truth according to God, that you accept Jesus's Sacrifice for you, or that you can in no other way, enter into Heaven. We tell them Jesus said...

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:16-18

We tell them that Jesus said.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. 

Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. John 10:1-11

We tell them there is no other way. As Jesus also said.

"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." {John 14:6}

They say, "I do not believe in God." Or "I do not believe that you have to accept Jesus to get to Heaven." Or "Religion is for Idiots." Something to this effect. Have you failed? Have you not communicated properly? Are you responsible for the fact that they will now die, not accepting Christ, and forever be cast out? Think about this. Someone you care about, someone you love, and you have the Key to give them, so that they may enter into Heaven, and yet, they are on their way to Hell. Have you failed to save them?

The simple answer is NO. You have fulfilled your Obligation. You are now free and clear. You have told them the Truth. You are not responsible for their decision to accept or not.

"When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul." {Ezekiel 33: 8-9}

It is your responsibility to tell people the Truth. It is your responsibility to live as God commanded us to live. We, as Children of God, must know the Truth. The whole Truth. The Truth according to God. This {Holding up the Bible} This is The Truth. The whole Truth. Anything that is not in here or contrary to this is a lie. It really is this simple. Look at this simple Truth of Salvation.

Believe and accept Jesus, and live. Or do not, and die. This is the Message. The Truth. This is what we are obligated to tell people. "he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." Not that God is going to condemn you. You are condemned already. Not that God is looking to Punish you. But rather God is looking to Save you.

Jesus never told us to go out, get in people's faces, and thump them on the head with the Bible. He never told us we should go out and FORCE people to believe. He told us this.

"And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city." {Matthew 10: 14-15}

Yet, while we are doing this, how do you think people feel about us if we are not living what we are sharing? In other words, we say Repent your Sins." while Sinning? I'm talking willfully. John wrote this warning to us to not think of ourselves as higher or more Holy than anyone else. It is our responsibility to keep ourselves in check and to spread the Truth. He wrote this.

"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."

Our responsibility is to know the Truth. It is to be Sowers of the Seed. Tellers of Truth. Share freely what we received freely. The Way, The Truth, The Life. That is our responsibly. That is our obligation. Acceptance of this {The Bible}Truth and Reality. It is everyone's own responsibility to accept it or not. We are not responsible for their choices or actions. We are without a doubt, our own.

Know the Truth. Be the Truth. Be part of the whole story so you will have no doubts. Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will heal you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray.

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a Sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus and His Sacrifice for me. I believe that He raised from the Dead. I repent my Sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is just that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A New Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}
