Spirit Wars 3, The Way of Man

The Way of Man

As we open we see the Baby floating in the Basket. Exodus 2:5-10
"And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river, and her maidens walked along by the river's side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it. And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews' children.

Then said his sister to Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee? And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child's mother. And Pharaoh's daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the women took the child and nursed it. And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said because I drew him out of the water."
God Blessed Moses and Chose him for this role. To set God's People Free and to bring about the destruction of Pharoh and his Rule. He appeared to him in a burning Bush. He equipped him with a Rod, and with Aaron, with the Words to say.

He was with Moses and horrors unto Pharoh.

Plague 1 — water turned into blood; fish died. ...
Plague 2 — frogs. ...
Plagues 3 and 4 — biting insects and wild animals. ...
Plagues 5 and 6 — livestock disease and boils. ...
Plague 7 — fiery hail. ...
Plague 8 — locusts. ...
Plague 9 — darkness.
Plague 10- Death of Firstborn Son.

Yet still, in all that, Pharoh tried to kill Moses, and in turn, perished in the Red Sea. Now God appears to Moses and gives him the Ten Commandments, Exodus 20

You shall have no other gods before Me.
You shall not make idols.
You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Honor your father and your mother.
You shall not murder.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not covet.

Simply Put, God told Man that if he Loves God with all his Heart, Soul, and Mind, he will keep these Commandments and they will Keep him.

{Dark March Music plays.} Yet the ways of man are continually evil. Golden Idols, Witches and Warlocks rise up. False Religions rise up Evil Kings and even Godly Kings rise up and turn to Evil Deeds. One such King? David.

David was a youngest and smallest of all his Brothers, yet, he was the most Faithful toward God. He slew the most feared Giant Goliath without Armor and with a mere Rock. God made him King at 30 years of age. All was well and God was with David and he grew to be a great King. Yet, the Dark Lord tempted David with Sin. David gave in.
"And it came to pass in an evening tide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof, he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon. And David sent and inquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite? And David sent messengers, and took her;, and She came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house." {2 Samuel 11:2-4}
Because of this, Bathsheba became pregnant. Out of fear of this, David then arranged for the death of Bathsheba's Husband Uriah. All this done by a Man who God said was "a man after his own heart." {1 Samuel 13:14}

God sent the Law. His people ignored it. He Sent Prophets. They were ignored, abused, and even killed. Everything God tried to do to bring back that relationship with Man that He had once had with Adam, failed. So he sent a Prophet named Isaiah to tell Man what he planned to do.
"Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep, before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors, and he bears the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors." {Isaiah 53}
As the {quiet and beautiful music plays,} the Camera pans out we see the Faithful looking toward the Horizon, waiting for a New Hope.

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray.

"Oh Heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}

Until next time, be Blessed, be a Blessing, and Jesus IS Lord!
