The True Meaning of Salvation

The three gifts of Salvation. Love.

You hear it all the time. Salvation. Religion is not Salvation. God, loves you so, He set up a way of Salvation. Jesus Saves. If you want to be Saved, get Jesus. People tell you that they have been Saved since...Saved? Saved from what? No seriously. Saved from what? Do you truly understand the true meaning of Salvation?

With Salvation, comes three gifts directly from God. They are Love, Hope, and Peace. Without God, without Jesus, without the Spirit of Adoption, you do not truly have ANY of these in your life. You have a facade. A mimic. A false feeling. You cannot truly receive these without God. Sorry.

"What do you mean. I do not believe in this Jesus. You mean to tell me I do not know what Love is?" Yup. "Wait right there. My Grandma was the most loving person on the face of the earth, she didn't believe in God. How can you say that she did not have love?" No God, no Love. Oh you may feel stuff. You may feel a worldly "Love" towards someone or something. But without Love itself, God, you can not truly KNOW Love.

This is going to be my "First Marriage." If you want to Marry me, sign this piece of paper saying this is MY stuff, and that is YOUR stuff, and when we separate, I keep mine and you keep yours. I sure would like to spend the night with THAT. He makes my heart Jump. She really does something for me. Sex is just Sex. If it feels good, do it. Examples of World Love. Not True Love.

I have a question for you. Talking to the Parents out there. If someone was coming to do your Family harm. Coming to kill your Kids. Would you lay your life down for them? Most would say yes. Most would say they "love" their families so much, or their Girlfriend , Boyfriend, even Brother or Sister. Yeah, you mess with those I love, and I will fight you to the point of my own death. Now that's Love. After all, Jesus did tell us....

{John 15:13, 14-17}

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

Jesus told us, He sees those that keep His words, not as Servants, but He called us His Friends.

"Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another."

"So? You see? I would do this too. So I do not need to know God to know love." OK. Let me ask you this then. Since you would lay down your Life for your Friends and Family, would you also lay down your Life for those that did come, and did kill, your Child? "Wait, what?"

If someone came, stripped your Child naked, tortured them, and killed them. Would you then, lay down your life, for the person that did such things to your Child? Most would say not only NO but insert expletive here NO!!!

God did.

{Romans 5:6-8}

"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die."

Again, you would die for those you "love." You may even die, for someone you feel is a Righteous Person. A Good Person. That is a Worldly Love. Then you have a Godly Love

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Really think about this. He Created us. He Created all that is, was, or ever will be. Then He Created us. He gave all authority over what He Created TO us. Then we gave that authority away to the Devil in the Garden. From that point on, Man's Heart was, is, and most likely always will be, Evil. The inventions we invent are Evil. The things we do are Evil. We became so Evil, that God repented that He made us in the first place. He sought to destroy us. Presumably, to start over. However, because of one Faithful Man, Noah, all of Mankind was not totally destroyed.

Yet, following this, God discovered that Man's Heart is STILL continuously Evil. He told us the Truth. We did not Hear Him. So He gave us the Law. We ignored it. He sent forth Prophets and Truth Sayers. We abused and killed them. Leaving Him with no other Choice, He laid down His Godhood, came to Earth as a helpless little Baby, lived His live Sin Free, and then allowed us to Strip Him naked, torture Him, and Murder Him. Even for those that were in the middle of doing this, He said this...

{Luke 23:34}

"Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do."

We were, and still are by the way, wretched, vile, disgusting, evil, creatures. Devising plans to do evil things. Yet, God so loves us, He does not want ANY to perish. He does not want ANY cast into Hell. He loves us so, that He is patiently waiting, allowing us to do the things we do, in the Hopes that more and more people will hear the Truth, the Truth of His Love towards us, and accept His Gift of Salvation.


{2 Peter 3:9}

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

"not willing that any" Say ANY. "should perish, but that all," Say ALL, "should come to repentance." God is not exclusive. Salvation is not only for this or that "type" or person, or this or that "Religion." God is all INCLUSIVE. He wants ALL to be Saved. No matter how wretched, vile, disgusting, evil, we are.

Love appears in the Bible 310 times King James Version. Other versions even more, such as changing "Charity" to Love, ETC. Such as in this Passage..

{Corinthians 13:4-8}

"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away."

The Word Charity here is Love.

{1 Corinthians 13:13}

"And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity."

Jesus gives us a perfect example of the difference between a Earthly Love and a Godly Love..

{Matthew 5:43-48}

"Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."

You cannot know true Love, without knowing that God, IS Love. You cannot have true Love, without being Adopted into the Family of God. Without knowing Jesus, you will never understand what Love really is. Oh, Lust is easy. Lust is all over the place. World "love" is available to all. But world love, is not even worthy to be compared to Godly Love. This is why Jesus gave us a new Commandment..

{John 13:34-35}

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

Unconditional, indescribable, til death, and beyond, Love. He told us this..

{Luke 6:31-35}

"And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil."

Saying you know Love without God, is like saying you know the Taste of Tiramisu, without ever having eaten it. Saying you know Love without God, is like saying I know the feeling of Winning the Game, having never played it. Oh you might get a concept. You might understand what someone may describe to you. But you cannot KNOW the Feelings and the Experience, without actually having the Feelings and the Experience. But as a Child of God, you will TRULY know what a Godly Love is. Paul tells us, in his letter to those of the Church in Colossae...

{Colossians 3:12-15}

"Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful."

With a true and Godly Love, through the Sacrifice of Jesus the Christ, you will also receive Hope, and Peace. Again, we are not talking Worldly Hope and Peace, but Godly Hope and Peace. We will discuss Hope next time. With true Salvation, not some ordinance, nor Tenet, of any Man-Made Tradition called Religion, but the acceptance of God's Gift to us, you will receive these things. Without that, you have nothing more than Worldly Feelings and conceptions of Love, Hope, and Peace. The problem with that is, these are ever changing and evolving, into things that they are never meant to be. Problem is, they are fickle, and in a lot of cases, an outright lie.

Do you know Love? Well, do you know Jesus? Have you accepted His Gift to you? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray..

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}
