God Is The Electorate

Kings, Rulers, and Presidents. God chooses them all.

Yes, ALL. The good, bad, and ugly. This is a message that WILL offend some. It is a message you may have never heard before. I may get nasty Emails, you may never return to read this Blog again. However, this will never change the fact this is absolute Truth, and this IS what the Spirit is leading me to share today.

I cannot turn on Talk Radio, certain News shows on TV, or even talk to some of my friends, without them bring up how horrible they feel, when they look around at the State of our Country and see a President, who seems willfully, destroying it.

The question is asked often, how can God allow these things to be. How can God allow people like Vlad III, Stalin, or Hitler rise to power? He didn't allow it. HE raised them up. HE gave them power. HE, God, appointed them.

"Wait. Using this philosophy, are you saying that God justified the Holocaust? How in the world do you make that statement. That is what you are saying. God raised up Hitler and put him in power. Therefore, God arranged the Holocaust?"

Let me ask you this. We know 6 million Jews died in the Holocaust. 6 million plus others. We know this because it is recent history. How many Jews died under Pharaoh? How many were tortured, enslaved, and slaughtered? I'm not sure there is a number out there. I'd be willing to bet you it was more than 6 million. Does that mean God wanted this? What does The Word say? "What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth." {Romans 9: 14-17}

Actually, let's look at,,,,

Romans 9:
18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?

20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

25 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.

26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.

29 And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.

30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.

32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
God raised up Pharaoh to bring about HIS power and HIS glory. If Pharaoh was never to be, what would Moses have to do? There would be no Exodus. There would be no "Chosen People." The World would be totally different. We do not always need to know at the time why, All we need to know is God is in charge. All we need do is accept that "stumblingstone and rock of offence" which is Jesus, and trust in Him. Daniel put it this way.

Daniel 2:
20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:

21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.
Nothing is ever hid from God. We are not in charge. God is. We do not need to fear anything. Paul put's it this way,,,,

Romans 13:
1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
We are to be Subject to God. His Will and His Way. If those in the World are doing things contrary to God and His Will, we must obey God first. If we are ever oppressed, abused, or even Killed, for His Sake, GREAT is our reward. We need not worry. We need not fear.

Now look at Hitler. What happened. A Christian Nation, founded on the Word of God. Founded on Religious Freedom. Founded in the name of God. We go to War with the enemy of God. The Evil that was Hitler. We won. We freed the Jews, and look at America from that point on. We became the greatest Superpower EVER. We became that shining city on the hill. We became the place all others in the world wanted to come to and be like. We were blessed beyond comprehension. Seriously, from the Great depression to laser beams and Space Travel. What made us different than any other nation? God, Family, Freedom.

One Nation under God. In God we trust. United we stand. Freedom to worship God without restrictions. Then what happened? We started slowly, and deliberately, removing God. That is a whole other Sermon. But we did. We removed God and replaced Him with Government. Need I remind you of 1 Samuel? The similarities are incredible.

God brought His chosen people out of bondage. He set them free. They said to God, "Give us a King." God said Why? You are a Free People? I am your King. Why are you asking for a King? They said "Give us a King." So God tried to warn them.

"This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots. And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants. And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the Lord will not hear you in that day." 1 Samuel 8: 11-18

They said "Give us a King." So He did. He gave them Saul. God gave us Pelosi, Reid, and Obama. God gave us Boehner, Graham, and McConnell. He gave us people that WANT to rule over us. He gave us people who believe that Government is the Answer for all things. We are going down the road WE chose.

You cannot ask why God allows people to rise to power. You have to ask why God raises people to power Himself. The answer is simple. We ask for it. Or it is part of His Plan and Purpose. As a Child of God, you must never forget what The Word tells us in Romans 8: 28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." It doesn't matter who is King. It does matter who is President. It doesn't matter our circumstances. Just understand and accept, God is in charge. He will be with His Children, always.

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray..

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}
