Standing For God

Stand for something, or Fall for anything. 

The Supreme Court on Monday, June 4th, 2018, ruled in favor of a Colorado baker who had refused to create a Wedding Cake for a Gay Couple. The Court’s Decision States that a Private Business Owner can refuse to serve someone and not be compelled to do something, that goes against their Religion Views. You know, that whole annoying 1st Amendment thing known as Freedom OF Religion.

US Constitution Article [I] (Amendment 1 - Freedom of expression and religion)

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

In this Case, "Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission, No. 16-111" in 2012, David Mullins and Charlie Craig visited Mr. Phillips’s Bakery, Masterpiece Cakeshop, in Lakewood, Colo. The two men were going to be Married in Massachusetts, and they were looking for a Wedding Cake for a Reception in Colorado. Mr. Phillips turned them down saying that he could not accept such a request because it may appear that he was in support of Gay Marriage which he is not. Due to his Faith in God, Jesus, and what the Bible says about Homosexuality, he believes it to be Sin.

Of course, the Gay Males took this Case to Court attempting to FORCE Mr. Phillips to violate his own Faith and comply with their request. I do not remember if the Court Fined the Bakery, or shut it down, but it ruled against Mr. Phillips saying he did not have the Right to refuse a request for Homosexuals, regardless of his Faith or Religion. He did not cave. It went all the way to the US Supreme Court which THANKFULLY upheld, apparently begrudgingly, Mr. Phillips's, and all other Private Business Owners's, First Amendment Rights.

Simply put. God says this, Homosexuality is Sin, against both Him {God} and also Nature. You can find some examples in Leviticus 18, Leviticus 20:13, Ezekiel 16:48-51, and Romans 1:18-32. It is pretty crystal clear how God sees Homosexuality.

However, just like all other Sin, God calls Sinners to come to Repentance. He does not call any of us to judge any other. I am not Gay. Does that mean I do not Sin? Of course not. You may not be an Adulterer. Does not mean you do not Sin? Of course not. Your Sin may not be mine. Mine may not be yours, yet, the Word declares in Romans 3:23

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"

John warned us of this also in 1 John 1:8

"If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

Jesus also warned us that we should not judge others. For we all have Sin. He said this in Matthew 7:5

"You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye."

However, this is NOT what the Baker did. What the Baker did was go about his day. He was not outside, looking to hunt down and correct an Overt Sinning Homosexual. He was there, on his own Property, doing what he did every day. When Someone came to him. The Person that came to him, asked him to do something that he felt went against his belief in God, Jesus, and the Bible. He did not attempt to Convert the Person, nor was he rude. He simply told the Truth. He would not be able to help them. With this, the People that came to see him attempted to FORCE him to go against his Faith and Beliefs. Thankfully, Mr. Phillips stood for God.

Jesus told us this will take place near the end of times. Matthew 24:9

"Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake."

This should not come as a surprise to us because it hated Him first. John 15:18

"If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you."

Jesus talking to even the Religious Rulers of the day said to them. John 8:43

"Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word."

Why? Because they were too much in and apart from the World. They are not Of God, therefore they could not even Hear what Jesus said. John 8:47

"Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.”"

Remember a Cardinal Mind or Worldly Mindset, cannot receive the things of God. They are Worldly and their end is Death. {Romans 8.} So when faced with a decision to Stand for God, or cave and simply comply with the World, he Stood for God. Would you?

There is coming a time when you may have to choose. Follow your Faith, take a Stand for God, or compromise and comply with the World. Whom will you choose? The Creation or the Creator. Trust me on this little fact. Whenever there is a discrepancy between God and Mankind, God is ALWAYS Right. Sorry. Just the Fact.

Get to know what God says about this and that. Feed your Mind, Body, and Soul with the things of Faith. Read His Word. Pray. Spend time with God. Spend time with the Church. Learn to Stand for something. Or reality is, you will Fall for anything.

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray.

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}

You Condemn Yourself. God Condemns No Human

You Condemn yourself.

Hello. Welcome, today. This is the last part of the Series entitled "You Condemn Yourself." If you have missed any of it, please go to the archives on the TAG Blog and get the rest of it. This is that important. We have Churches that have stopped teaching the fact there is a Devil, Hell, or even absolutes as to Right and Wrong. Good and Sin.

So far this Series we discussed that the Devil is very real. Yet? He is NOT a Red Faced, Horned Head, Pitchfork Wielding, Demon straight outta Hollywood. As a matter of fact, he is called the Son of the Morning. He is the Fairest of all the Angels. If he were to appear in the Flesh, he would most likely resemble something so beautiful and awe-inspiring, many would mistake him for Jesus Himself.

Then we discussed Hell is a very real place. Not some concept or idea set forth by Man, but a very real place Created by God, not for man, rather for the Devil, and his Angels. Why then do we have Churches that have completely stopped teaching these Truths? No Devil, then no Hell. No Devil, no Hell, no Sin. No Sin, no reason for a Savior. No Savior, no God. No Evil means no Good. No Hell, then no Heaven. No judgment for Sin, if there is no Sin. Simply, live as you will.

Then we discussed the fact that our God is a Loving God. He IS Love itself. Without God, there is no real Love. There is selfish Love. Lust. Along with other "Kinds" of Love, but not Real Love without God.

So then, WHY would anyone go to Hell? The simple answer is because WE CHOOSE to. We choose the Path we Walk. You do not have to go to Hell. God does not want you to go to Hell. It does not even matter what you have done in your Life. It does not matter where you come from. It does not matter what "Religion" you or your Family have been involved in. None of that matters to God.

As a matter of fact, did you know that there are only two states of Being? Condemned or Saved. Dead or Alive. There are not many forms of existence and or Being. Just two. The Simple Truth is if you have not accepted Jesus, you are already Condemned. John 3:18

"Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God."

Think about that. You do not have to Murder Someone. You do not have to Steal, Rape, Beat up, Set Fires, or anything else. You do not even have to fail at being a good little {Insert Religion here} All you have to do to be Condemned is what? Not accept Jesus. Not believe in Him. Reject God's perfect Plan.

Remember, Jesus said this

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." {Matthew 7:13-14}

Why? Jesus IS the Narrow Gate. Jesus IS the Door. Jesus IS the ONLY Way.

"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." {John 14:6}

Look at that again. "No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other way. He teaches us that He is the Door to Heaven in John 10:1-11

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him, the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” This figure of speech Jesus used with them, but they did not understand what he was saying to them.

So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep."

Without following the Way, without the Key, and going through the Door, you will NEVER enter into Heaven. Just a simple fact Folks. There are not many paths to God. Not all Religions are equal. As a matter of Fact, Religion is NOT Salvation. Sorry. It is really that simple. Being good will not get you there. Simply believing in God will not get you there. Religion will not get you there. There is only one way. Jesus. He is the Way. He is the Door. He is the Gate.

Here is the thing. Jesus is there. He is waiting for you. He is not waiting to Judge you. He is not waiting to Condemn you. He is no respecter of Persons. Either you come to Him, accept Him or you do not. The Chose is TOTALLY up to you.

I know, I know. Some of you may get offended at this. Or you may know someone that gets offended at this. However, it changes nothing. Philippians 2:9-11

"Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

What does that say? "Every knee should bow." Also? "every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord." Every. Means what? Every. All. Whoever. As we discussed last time, this is NOT exclusive. This is actually all INCLUSIVE. Romans 10:9

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Who? ANYONE! EVERYONE! Whoever. Again, It does not matter what you have done in your Life. It does not matter where you come from. It does not matter what "Religion" you or your Family have been involved in. None of that matters to God. The only thing that matters to God is that you follow His Plan of Salvation. Which is what? Jesus The Christ.

All you have to do is say this Prayer. Right now. Right where you are.

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

Then the Word tells us to go and Confess what you just did, or rather, what God just did for you. Romans 10:9

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Hell is not a place set up by God, to send you, if you tell a Lie. Or you Sin really really bad. Or you Eat Meat on Fridays. Or whatever. He sent it up for the Devil and His Angels. He Created the kingdom for you. Matthew 25:34

"Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."

Remember, there are only two States of Being. Condemned, which you are Born into. and Saved. Which you must be Born again, into, through the Blood of Jesus Christ. If you said that Prayer, you are Saved. Saved from what? A very real Hell, and a very Devil. Now go and Share the Good News

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

6 Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the Lord, O my soul. Praise ye the Lord.

You Condemn Yourself. God IS Love

God is real, and He IS Love.

I repeat, God is not some old Man, sitting on a Throne, waiting to see how many He can cast into Hell. He is not sitting there waiting for you to slip up so He can punish you. He never intended you to go to Hell at all. He created Hell for one purpose. "The Devil and his Angels."

He never intended Man, Mankind, Women, Children, or any Human at all, to go there. He wants as many to be Saved from that as possible. 2nd Peter 3:9

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Remember, God, Loves us so much that He made the way simple and easy to obtain by all who seek Him. John 3:16-18

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God."

It really is this Simple. Romans 10:9

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Let's look at this in more detail. Jesus said "Whoever believes in him" Whoever = Whoever; Whatever Person. ANY and EVERYONE. Jesus means it when He says "Whoever." He did not say, "those who wear this or that and follow this or that Tradition." He did not say "those who are deemed good enough." He said "Whoever."

We just read in 2nd Peter 3:9 that God is longsuffering towards us and our Sinning Nature because He wants "all should come to repentance." All= the whole number of (used in referring to individuals or particulars, taken collectively) Whoever, EVERYONE. It does not say, "He is longsuffering so that those Catholics or those Muslims, will come to Repentance. It says "ALL."

I've used this analogy before. But I really think it best describes what God actually did for us. He laid down His Godhood, came to Earth in the form of a little Baby, yet still possessed all Authority. It would be like you walking out of your Home, and an Ant came up and tapped your foot, and said to you, "I'm going to kill you." You could easily, without much effort at all, simply raise your foot slightly, put it back down, crushing the Ant. The Ant, could run away and bring back thousands of more Ants. You would still wipe them out with little to no effort whatsoever.

I know people that declare war on Ants in their yards. They wipe out entire Ant Cities. Pretty much with a wave of their hand. This is how we are physically compared to God. Little more than Ants. He is Eternal. We are but Vapors. The average lifespan now is what? Something like 75 years? Let's say 100 years. How many Generations have come and gone since just this little old Country called America has existed? How many Generations? How many lives have come and gone since Creation?

Imagine what Jesus must have been thinking. Knowing that at any time, while they were Mocking Him, Beating Him, Whipping Him, Hanging Him on a Cross, and driving a Spear through His Side, at any time, He could have simply called down a Legion of Angels. With a Word, and wave of the hand, He could have totally wiped us all out. But He didn't. He CHOSE to endure.

Even on the Cross, what did He say? "Forgive them." He forgave a Thief. He Forgave those who did this to Him. He Forgave all of us for all the Sins we have ever committed. Then He what? He gave up the Ghost. He said, "It is Finished." He laid down His Life for us.

Remember, He even told us this when Peter attempted to defend Him in the Garden Gethsemane. Matthew 26:52-54

"Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?"

He could have stopped this at any time. This is why He made this Statement in John 10:18

"No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father."

God is a God of Love. Not a God of Condemnation. Look at Romans 8 for a second. Romans 8:33-34

"Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died more than that, who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us."

Who is it that Justifies or Saves? God. Out of Love for me and you. Who is it that Condemns. God.......Wait! No. Read that again.

"Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died more than that, who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us."

Jesus is the Answer. God is the Answer. Not the Condemnation. No. A Loving God did NOT Create a place of everlasting Torment for all of His Creation as some kind of Punishment for disobeying Him. He came and Died to PREVENT that from happening.

Think about this. He Created all that Is Was and ever Will be. He Created YOU in His own Image. {Genesis 1:26} He Wrote down how you would be, then you were formed according to His own Words {Psalm 139:16} The Word declares that He Loves you so much, that He actually took the time to number the very Hairs on your Head. {Luke 12:7}

Without God, there is no real Love. There is selfish Love. Lust. Along with other "Kinds" of Love, but no Real Love without God. So then, if we have such a loving God, and He never intended us to go to this evil place of Torment, then why in the World would Jesus tell us this in Matthew 7:13-14

"Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few."

The simple answer is because WE CHOOSE to. We choose the Path we Walk. More on that next time. You do not have to go to Hell. God does not want you to go to Hell. It does not even matter what you have done in your Life. It does not matter where you come from. It does not matter what "Religion" you or your Family have been involved in. None of that matters to God. There is but one thing. His Name is Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12

"And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Psalm 103

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

You Condemn Yourself. Hell IS Real

There really is a real Hell.

Last time we learned that the Devil is real. Yes, folks, I know this is not a popular teaching anymore, even in some of our Churches, but it is the Truth. Here is another. Hell is very real. We touched on this a bit last time. Why? No Devil, then no Hell. No Devil, no Hell, no Sin. No Sin, no reason for a Savior. No Savior, no God. No Evil means no Good. No Hell, then no Heaven. No judgment for Sin, if there is no Sin. Simply, live as you will.

It always amazes me when someone tells me that they believe in Jesus and a Loving God and yet they do not believe in the Devil or Hell. Uh? OK. Then what exactly is Jesus "Saving" you from? Makes no sense right? They do these things and teach these things out of fear. Fear of offending someone. Fear of being labeled this or that. Or simply fear of their own lifestyle.

Truth is Hell is a very real place. Listen to this teaching from Jesus Himself. Matthew 25:31-46

"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’ And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

So there are two Resurrections. One into Glory, and one into Condemnation. We see this in John 5:28-29 again.

"Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation."

Wait. Have you ever heard it put this way? "those who have done good, to the resurrection of life and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation." Those who will not be Saved, will still have a Ressurection? "and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation."

Hell is a very real place. However, let's look into what Jesus actually says.

"And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."

Wait. Stop. WHAT does Jesus say was Prepared for us from the Foundation of the World? "The Kingdom." Read that again.

"Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."

Then read this.

"Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels."

See, He said He prepared the Kingdom for the Saved and Eternal Fire for the Sinners. Wait? No. Actually, He said this.

"Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels."

The Eternal Fire, AKA Hell, was Created for who? "The Devil and his Angels." God is not some old Man, sitting on a Throne, waiting to see how many He can cast into Hell. He is not sitting there waiting for you to slip up so He can punish you. He never intended you to go to Hell at all. He created Hell for one purpose. "The Devil and his Angels."

He never intended man to go there. He wants as many to be Saved from that as possible.

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."{2nd Peter 3:9}

One of the reasons that many do not like to Teach, or accept that Hell is real, is that they do not want to think that there is Someone that they have lost there as we speak, being tortured continuously. I really believe that the Word Teaches us that although Hell is a real place, it is not open for business, if you will, yet. I believe it Teaches very clearly that Hell is future tense. Look at Job 21:30-32

"That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath. Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall repay him what he hath done? Yet shall he be brought to the grave, and shall remain in the tomb."

Then this in 2 Peter 3:7

"But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."

Remember Jesus Teaches us this in John 5:28-29

"Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation."

So no. Grandma is not burning up as we speak. Uncle Bob is not suffering endlessly for his Sins as you are eating Ice Cream on Sunday afternoons. It is a Future Occurrence. However, make no mistake about it, it IS coming. Revelation 21:7-8

"He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

Now, wait a second. What is the "Second Death?" More on that next time. Just be assured, that it is Real, and it IS Coming. Even though it was not intended for you, can you still end up going there? Yup. The Word makes this very clear too. Accept Jesus and Live. Reject Jesus and Die. Do not miss next time.

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray.

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature.
