All Things are Temporal 3

 Your stuff - Materialism

Hello. Welcome to today's discussion. We are discussing the fact that all things are temporal—yes, ALL things minus one: God. We are discussing this passage by Yeshua.
"Jesus left the temple and went away when his disciples came to point out the temple buildings to him. But he answered them, "You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down." Matthew 24:1-2
And this one by Paul.
"Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake, I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ" Philippians 3:8
Let us pray.

"Heavenly Father, LORD God. We come before you today and give you all the praise and glory we can. We thank you for all your grace and blessings you bestow on us daily, and we thank you for allowing us to be your children. We ask you for eyes to see, ears to hear, and a spirit to receive and understand your Word and Your Will today. In Yeshua's name, amen."

I know some of you may be thinking: how can Paul make a statement like this? It is normal and even encouraged to “keep up with the Joneses,” isn't it? Come on, he who dies with the most toys wins, right? Well?
“And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” Luke 12:15
And we read this in the Word.
“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.” 1 John 2:15-17
Yeshua even instructed us not to worry about working solely to meet our needs.
“And he said to his disciples, "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.” Luke 12:22-23
Why should we not worry about them?
“And he said to his disciples, "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them.” Luke 12:22-23
This is why Yeshua tells us to “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” He tells us this.
"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21
Did you know that we should not be working to earn our way into Heaven? Instead, we should be motivated to do good works because we are going to Heaven, thanks to God's salvation. By doing so, we "lay up for ourselves treasures in heaven," knowing we have a reward waiting for us.
“Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:12
We have a treasure waiting for us. Some will be larger than others. Some will receive more than others. Some, sadly, will receive judgment. Why?
“For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done.” Matthew 16:27
Once again, let me clarify my point. We do not work to be saved, nor do we work merely for the treasures in Heaven. Our motivation for serving must come from the fact that we are already saved and that God loves us deeply. Even though we were sinners living in our sins, He came and died for us so that we might have life. What could be more important than serving Him?

As for all this stuff that surrounds us daily? It will one day belong to someone else. Of itself will simply cease to exist.
“For we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.” 1 Timothy 6:7-10
You cannot say. “Yes. I'm saved. But I do not have time to share the gospel. Gotta make that money.” Or things like, “I wish I had more time to serve God. But you know, I gotta pay the electric bill.” Did you not know that if you are working to serve God and working for the kingdom, then you are worthy of compensation? Look here. Turn to 1 Timothy 5:18
“For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer deserves his wages.”
When Yeshua sent out the Disciples, He told them to take nothing. And He said this.
“No bag for your journey, or two tunics or sandals or a staff, for the laborer deserves his food.” Matthew 10:10
What does He mean? He means He will provide. God will provide. Why? “Your Father knows that you need them,” and “The laborer deserves his wages.” God will never ask you to do something that does not give you the necessary tools. All you have to do is trust in Him.

If he tells you to quit your job and join a church full-time, quit. If God tells you to move, move. Evangelize. Then go do that. To be a Missionary, go do that. Life is far more than working 9-5, or more like 24-7 nowadays, and paying bills on Friday.

Jesus tells us this. He said He wants us to have an abundant life. Turn to John 10:10
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
Again, do not be misled. I am most definitely NOT talking about the “Prosperity Gospel.” That is a lie straight from the evil one himself. I’m talking about God, choosing you out of the world, having a plan and a purpose for you and your life, and supplying your needs along the way.

God is not an ATM. He is not a lottery ticket. He is not a get-rich-quick scheme. He is God. He is your Father in Heaven. He loves you. He created you for a purpose. He will without a doubt, supply your needs. Remember, it was Jesus or Yeshua who called the rich man a fool.
“And he told them a parable, saying, "The land of a rich man produced plentifully, and he thought to himself, 'What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?' And he said, 'I will do this: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry."' But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?'” Luke 12:16-20
That, a car you love so much? Rubbish
That house, or houses, you like to brag about? Rubbish.
That money hidden where you hid it? Rubbish
Your clothes? Rubbish
Everything you have or ever will have, while here on this earth? Rubbish.

Every secular goal is bound to death and decay. Think about that. I will say it again. Every secular goal is bound to death and decay. What is today is rubbish tomorrow. Why worry a lot about things that do not matter in the long run?

Enjoy the nice things you have, and if you are blessed with something you desire, take pleasure in it. However, always remember not to place anything above God or what He is calling you to do. Seek the Kingdom first; He will meet your needs and provide you with a life of abundance.

Are you His child? Are you sure? If not, say this prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be, say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us pray.

"Oh, heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Yeshua's sacrifice for me. I believed He rose from the dead. I repent of my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Yeshua, Amen!"

That's it. It is that simple. Now tell someone what you have just done. "That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Yeshua, and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, You shall be saved." Romans 10:9. You need to find a Church that God leads you to and be baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A New Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him."Colossians 3:10

Book of 1 Samuel, Chapter 30

 Chapter 30

David's Wives Are Captured

1 Now when David and his men came to Ziklag on the third day, the Amalekites had made a raid against the Negeb and against Ziklag. They had overcome Ziklag and burned it with fire 2 and taken captive the women and all who were in it, both small and great. They killed no one but carried them off and went their way. 3 And when David and his men came to the city, they found it burned with fire, and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive. 4 Then David and the people who were with him raised their voices and wept until they had no more strength to weep. 5 David's two wives also had been taken captive, Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail the widow of Nabal of Carmel. 6 And David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because all the people were bitter in soul, each for his sons and daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.

7 And David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, “Bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought the ephod to David. 8 And David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I pursue after this band? Shall I overtake them?” He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake and shall surely rescue.” 9 So David set out, and the six hundred men who were with him, and they came to the brook Besor, where those who were left behind stayed. 10 But David pursued, he and four hundred men. Two hundred stayed behind, who were too exhausted to cross the brook Besor.

11 They found an Egyptian in the open country and brought him to David. And they gave him bread and he ate. They gave him water to drink, 12 and they gave him a piece of a cake of figs and two clusters of raisins. And when he had eaten, his spirit revived, for he had not eaten bread or drunk water for three days and three nights. 13 And David said to him, “To whom do you belong? And where are you from?” He said, “I am a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite, and my master left me behind because I fell sick three days ago. 14 We had made a raid against the Negeb of the Cherethites and against that which belongs to Judah and against the Negeb of Caleb, and we burned Ziklag with fire.” 15 And David said to him, “Will you take me down to this band?” And he said, “Swear to me by God that you will not kill me or deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will take you down to this band.”

David Defeats the Amalekites

16 And when he had taken him down, behold, they were spread abroad over all the land, eating and drinking and dancing, because of all the great spoil they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from the land of Judah. 17 And David struck them down from twilight until the evening of the next day, and not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men, who mounted camels and fled. 18 David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken, and David rescued his two wives. 19 Nothing was missing, whether small or great, sons or daughters, spoiled or anything that had been taken. David brought back all. 20 David also captured all the flocks and herds, and the people drove the livestock before him, and said, “This is David's spoil.”

21 Then David came to the two hundred men who had been too exhausted to follow David, and who had been left at the brook Besor. And they went out to meet David and to meet the people who were with him. And when David came near to the people he greeted them. 22 Then all the wicked and worthless fellows among the men who had gone with David said, “Because they did not go with us, we will not give them any of the spoil that we have recovered, except that each man may lead away his wife and children, and depart.” 23 But David said, “You shall not do so, my brothers, with what the Lord has given us. He has preserved us and given into our hand the band that came against us. 24 Who would listen to you in this matter? For as his share is who goes down into the battle, so shall his share be who stays by the baggage. They shall share alike.” 25 And he made it a statute and a rule for Israel from that day forward to this day.

26 When David came to Ziklag, he sent part of the spoil to his friends, the elders of Judah, saying, “Here is a present for you from the spoil of the enemies of the Lord.” 27 It was for those in Bethel, in Ramoth of the Negeb, in Jattir, 28 in Aroer, in Siphmoth, in Eshtemoa, 29 in Racal, in the cities of the Jerahmeelites, in the cities of the Kenites, 30 in Hormah, in Bor-ashan, in Athach, 31 in Hebron, for all the places where David and his men had roamed.

All Things are Temporal 2

 Is your J.O.B. your god?

Welcome. Let us pray.

"Heavenly Father, Lord God, all the praise and glory be to You. As we come before You today, we pray that You give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and a spirit to receive Your Truth and Your Revelation. May Your Word feed our spirit as the food You so abundantly bless us with feeds our bodies. We ask this in Your holy name, Amen!"

Is your J.O.B. your god? I'm seriously asking you. Is your job your god? Ridiculous, you say? Are you sure? Think about it.

We spend most of our awake time at our jobs. We do things that we would never do for our jobs. Our Jobs pay us money, that?

Pays our bills, and gives us a roof over our heads. Food on the table. Clothes on our bodies. Electricity. Vehicle to come and go. Entertainment. We rely on our jobs to meet our needs. It used to be mostly men who would work 9-5 Monday through Friday. They would go out and do whatever it was that would supply them with the money to live. The wife and mother would stay home to raise the children.

Then, after Dad got home, they would all sit around the table and have dinner. Talking and sharing their day's events. Then came the weekends, when they would spend time as a family. Today, sadly, most of the time, both the man and the woman are out working 24/7. Working 9-5 is nearly all but gone. Weekends off? Rare. Got to make that money.

Let’s get a bit real here. God did not create money. God has no use for it. We did. Money and wealth are man-made concepts. We chose to say that this piece of paper is worth one dollar or a hundred dollars. We chose to say that this shiny rock is worth all this money. Imagine God, looking down from Heaven, when He sees someone open an Oyster's Shell and see a spitball, and call it a pearl, and say, "This is valuable." It's foolishness.

However, it is the system we created. It is a system we must live in. It is the system that can and does lead some to an early grave. They work themselves to death. Some are very successful, out there doing what they do, and then they come home and wonder, "Where did the Kids go?" Well, they graduated and are out on their own. Sorry, you missed them growing up. Got to make that money.

Here is something someone needs to get. Proverbs 23:4 says this.
"Do not overwork to be rich; Because of your own understanding, cease!"
When you drive your body, 24/7, you deprive it of sleep, food, and even simple rest. Eventually, it will give out. He who dies with the most toys wins? Got to make that money.

God does not want you to worry. Yeshua taught us this fact, that as a child of God, you should not only have no fear of these things but take no thought of them at all. If we, as children of God, put our trust in Him, He is faithful and just, to meet our every need. In Luke 12:15
"And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth."
Then He tells us this.
"The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is today in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.

For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye require these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you." Luke 12:23-30
Where is your faith? Is your faith in God? To be faithful and true to His Word that HE will meet your needs? Or is your faith in yourself, and your Job, to meet your needs? Where is your faith, child of God? Is it our Abba Father, or is it {Incert job company and title here}?

"But you don't understand. I do not want to drive that. I do not want to live there. I want MORE. So much more. I got to do whatever I got to do to make more money."

Really? Have you not heard?
"But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs." 1 Timothy 6:6-10
Many people have come to treat money as their god. Banks have transformed into places of worship, and financial advisers have become evangelists. Individuals often bow before the altar of the stock market. The love of money can lead one to violate the other commandments.

You will forget, or have no time for the “Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it, thou shalt still work. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.” But you will say to yourself, "No big deal. I have to work. Gotta make that Money."

24/7. Work days, nights, weekends. Whatever. Gotta make that money. Sick? Go anyway. Gotta make that money. Kids, no matter. Daycare if needed. Gotta make that money.

You know that whatever you do, in the end, it's just a Job. Are you a famous actor? Musician? Sports star? Do you know what happens when you become too old to keep doing what you are doing? Someone else steps up and takes your place. All those people who used to chant your name now chant someone else's. All those people who used to follow you around now follow someone else. That movie you did, that was the number-one movie in history? Has been replaced with the next number-one movie in history. That position you had in the company? Smith and Walls? Someone else sits in your seat now. So on and so forth. It was all just a Job.

God is there. He is always there. He is and wants to be your Abba Father. He will never leave nor forsake you. You are and will always be His child. He must come first. Jesus came right out and told us, you cannot love both, Money and God.
"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other, or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Matthew 6:24
So who cares if you lose your earthly worldly Job? God will meet your needs far more than you will on your own, relying on that job. If you lose that Job today?

Romans 8:28
“And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
He will help you find a better opportunity. You may not hear this often, but you might not have been in the job that God intended for you. It doesn’t matter if you thought it was the best job in the world; God had a reason for wanting you somewhere else. Trust in Him.
"In God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength and my refuge is in God."  Psalm 62:7
Do not place your job on the same level as God. When you truly begin to understand and trust what Yeshua tells us, you will find peace.
“But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
You will experience far less fear and anxiety when you realize that your employment does not depend on a person or corporation, but rather on God Himself. You can rest assured knowing He is in charge and will meet your daily needs.

Of all the things that we can and will be talking about being temporal, your job should be at the bottom of your list of things to worry about.

Book of 1 Samuel, Chapter 29

 Chapter 29

The Philistines Reject David

1 Now the Philistines had gathered all their forces at Aphek. And the Israelites were encamped by the spring that is in Jezreel. 2 As the lords of the Philistines were passing on by hundreds and by thousands, and David and his men were passing on in the rear with Achish, 3 the commanders of the Philistines said, “What are these Hebrews doing here?” And Achish said to the commanders of the Philistines, “Is this not David, the servant of Saul, king of Israel, who has been with me now for days and years, and since he deserted to me I have found no fault in him to this day.” 4 But the commanders of the Philistines were angry with him. And the commanders of the Philistines said to him, “Send the man back, that he may return to the place to which you have assigned him. He shall not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he become an adversary to us. For how could this fellow reconcile himself to his lord? Would it not be with the heads of the men here? 5 Is not this David, of whom they sing to one another in dances,

‘Saul has struck down his thousands,

    and David his ten thousands’?”

6 Then Achish called David and said to him, “As the Lord lives, you have been honest, and to me, it seems right that you should march out and in with me in the campaign. For I have found nothing wrong in you from the day of your coming to me to this day. Nevertheless, the lords do not approve of you. 7 So go back now; and go peaceably, that you may not displease the lords of the Philistines.” 8 And David said to Achish, “But what have I done? What have you found in your servant from the day I entered your service until now, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?” 9 And Achish answered David and said, “I know that you are as blameless in my sight as an angel of God. Nevertheless, the commanders of the Philistines have said, ‘He shall not go up with us to the battle.’ 10 Now then rise early in the morning with the servants of your lord who came with you, and start early in the morning, and depart as soon as you have light.” 11 So David set out with his men early in the morning to return to the land of the Philistines. But the Philistines went up to Jezreel.

All Things are Temporal

 Introduction

"Heavingly Father, Lord God, all the praise and glory be to You. As we come before You today, we pray that You give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and a spirit to receive Your Truth and Your Revelation. May Your Word feed our spirit as the food You so abundantly bless us with feeds our bodies. We ask this in Your holy name, Amen!"

Did you know that nearly all you know is temporal? Yeshua said this about even the most beautiful man-made structures on the planet.
"Jesus left the temple and went away when his disciples came to point out the temple buildings to him. But he answered them, "You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down." Matthew 24:1-2
Why would He say that? Because it is true. We read things like this.
"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more." Revelation 21:1
And this
"For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind." Isaiah 65:17
Yeshua, or Jesus as translated, tells us this day is coming.
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away." Matthew 24:35
We do not know when it will happen. Jesus tells us.
"Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot, they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire, and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed." Luke 17:26-30
The end of everything. Not some things. Everything. Everything we know will come to an end.

What will happen tomorrow? What about before we finish discussing this today? The truth is, we do not know. My grandmother was a wonderful woman who was well-loved in our town. She often fed the entire community, demonstrating her kindness and generosity. I regularly thank God for allowing me to be born in that time and place and for the honor of growing up in my grandmother's house.

My grandfather had Parkinson's disease, and my grandmother took care of him completely. One day, at around 2 a.m., she stood up and suddenly collapsed to the ground due to a major heart attack.

9/11, a sudden storm from nowhere, or my grandmother as an example— for those involved, it marked the end of their time. It doesn’t have to be "The End Times" for you to be called home. Consider the parable of the rich man and his barns in Luke 12:13-21. Jesus tells us that even though we may strive to build up our riches, it ultimately doesn’t matter in the end time. He stated this.
"But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’ So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God."
Jesus tells us that we should
"Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Mattew 6:33
He says,
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal."
Why?
"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21
Every secular goal is ultimately subject to death and decay. Consider this carefully. I will say it again: every secular goal is bound to death and decay. I firmly believe this is the reason Paul made the statement we are discussing today.
"Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake, I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ" Philippians 3:8
What will we be talking about in this series?

Your Job.                Temporal
Your Stuff.              Temporal
Your Time.              Temporal
Your life On Earth. Temporal

Nearly all you know, is temporal. There is only one exception. This.
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away." Matthew 24:35
This is right here. {Holding up the Bible}

Jesus is the Word. He is the Truth, Way, and Life. ANYTHING else you know, see, hear, taste, touch, or even think, is temporal. Everything. What do I mean by “think?” Look here.
“But, as it is written,
"What no eye has seen,
nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined,
what God has prepared for those who love him" 1 Corinthians 2:9
We cannot even imagine what God has planned for us—not today or tomorrow—unless we actively seek Him and His purpose. He knows what lies ahead; He is already there, waiting for us. Instead of focusing solely on today and worrying about tomorrow, why not shift our attention to what is eternal: our relationship with God?

Are you a workaholic? Is your Job your god? You may be surprised. I know people who always put their Jobs first in their lives even before their own families. How about your stuff? Does he with the most toys win? Are you wasting time away in an offhanded way? How many tomorrows are you hoping for? Your time is coming. The clock is counting down. Death comes for us all. Is this something you may be concerned about? For the right or wrong reasons?

These are the things we will be discussing coming up here at TAG. The Truth According to God. Join us won’t you? If you are not a child of God. There is no better time. Today is the day, now is the time. Say this prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be, say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray.

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Yeshua's sacrifice for me. I believed He rose from the dead. I repent my sins.

Book of 1 Samuel, Chapter 28

 Chapter 28

Saul and the Medium of En-dor

1 In those days the Philistines gathered their forces for war, to fight against Israel. And Achish said to David, “Understand that you and your men are to go out with me in the army.” 2 David said to Achish, “Very well, you shall know what your servant can do.” And Achish said to David, “Very well, I will make you my bodyguard for life.”

3 Now Samuel had died, and all Israel had mourned for him and buried him in Ramah, his own city. And Saul had put the mediums and the necromancers out of the land. 4 The Philistines assembled and came and encamped at Shunem. And Saul gathered all Israel, and they encamped at Gilboa. 5 When Saul saw the army of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his heart trembled greatly. 6 And when Saul inquired of the Lord, the Lord did not answer him, either by dreams, or by Urim, or by prophets. 7 Then Saul said to his servants, “Seek out for me a woman who is a medium, that I may go to her and inquire of her.” And his servants said to him, “Behold, there is a medium at En-dor.”

8 So Saul disguised himself and put on other garments and went, he and two men with him. And they came to the woman by night. And he said, “Divine for me by a spirit and bring up for me whomever I shall name to you.” 9 The woman said to him, “Surely you know what Saul has done, how he has cut off the mediums and the necromancers from the land. Why then are you laying a trap for my life to bring about my death?” 10 But Saul swore to her by the Lord, “As the Lord lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this thing.” 11 Then the woman said, “Whom shall I bring up for you?” He said, “Bring up Samuel for me.” 12 When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out with a loud voice. And the woman said to Saul, “Why have you deceived me? You are Saul.” 13 The king said to her, “Do not be afraid. What do you see?” And the woman said to Saul, “I see a god coming up out of the earth.” 14 He said to her, “What is his appearance?” And she said, “An old man is coming up, and he is wrapped in a robe.” And Saul knew that it was Samuel, and he bowed with his face to the ground and paid homage.

15 Then Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” Saul answered, “I am in great distress, for the Philistines are warring against me, and God has turned away from me and answers me no more, either by prophets or by dreams. Therefore I have summoned you to tell me what I shall do.” 16 And Samuel said, “Why then do you ask me, since the Lord has turned from you and become your enemy? 17 The Lord has done to you as he spoke by me, for the Lord has torn the kingdom out of your hand and given it to your neighbor, David. 18 Because you did not obey the voice of the Lord and did not carry out his fierce wrath against Amalek, therefore the Lord has done this thing to you this day. 19 Moreover, the Lord will give Israel also with you into the hand of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons shall be with me. The Lord will give the army of Israel also into the hand of the Philistines.”

20 Then Saul fell at once full length on the ground, filled with fear because of the words of Samuel. And there was no strength in him, for he had eaten nothing all day and all night. 21 And the woman came to Saul, and when she saw that he was terrified, she said to him, “Behold, your servant has obeyed you. I have taken my life in my hand and have listened to what you have said to me. 22 Now therefore, you also obey your servant. Let me set a morsel of bread before you; and eat, that you may have strength when you go on your way.” 23 He refused and said, “I will not eat.” But his servants, together with the woman, urged him, and he listened to their words. So he arose from the earth and sat on the bed. 24 Now the woman had a fattened calf in the house, and she quickly killed it, and she took flour and kneaded it and baked unleavened bread of it, 25 and she put it before Saul and his servants, and they ate. Then they rose and went away that night.

The Wrong Church, No God

 They leave God out.

Welcome. Let us pray. "Father, Lord God, all the praise and glory be to You. We come before You in the name of your Holy one, the flesh of God, Yeshua by name. As we come before You today, we pray that You give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and a spirit to receive Your Truth and Your Revelation. May Your Word feed our spirit as the food You so abundantly bless us with feeds our bodies. We ask this in Your holy name, Amen!"

Let me ask you an honest question. I’m being completely honest here. I would love to know how some of you who share the belief that there are many paths to God and Heaven reconcile this. How do you reach God if you leave Him out?

One day, a group of people told someone that Peter, meaning me, was just sitting there at my house, waiting for someone to come to me.  When you do, I have a case with a million dollars and I will give it to the one who comes seeking me and finds me. They even give you my address.{I do not, so do not attempt it}

Well, the person says, "I would love to have that million dollars." However, I do not like your Peter. I would rather go to his home and get the case another way. I do not like the address you gave me. I would have to pass through this or that town, take a boat, and everything. I will find another way.

Do you see how ridiculous this is? Here's the problem: there is only one way to reach me and only one me. So how can you reject me and still get to me? Let’s start with the reason we need to seek out Yeshua, or Jesus as translated. Turn with me to John 3:16-18.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”
What happens if you leave the Son out?
“Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.”
Here, turn to I John 5:12
“Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.”
Why? Turn to John 10, starting at verse 7
“So Jesus again said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”
Go down a little bit further to verse 27
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one."
As a side note, did Jesus never say He was God? Yes, He did. Here is one of them. Look how this offended the “religious folks.”
“The Jews picked up stones again to stone him.”
Then again we see Jesus calling Himself God here.
“Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad." So the Jews said to him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?" Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am."
Say it with me.
“So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.” John 8:56-59
Need more proof? Turn to John 1
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made”
A little bit further we read this.
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:1-3, 14
Yeshua, or Jesus is the only way. Why? Because HE IS GOD!

Look here
“The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone.” Psalm 118:22
Then here.
“Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I am the one who has laid as a foundation in Zion, a stone, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, of a sure foundation: 'Whoever believes will not be in haste.'” Isaiah 28:16
Look how Paul puts it in his letter to the Corinthians
“But we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles,”1 Corinthians 1:23
I apologize, but there is no alternative. It is impossible to reach God if you exclude Him, just as it is impossible to enter heaven if you ignore the path that leads there. This is why some individuals find it difficult to accept the truth.

We tell them, that God so loved the world, that He laid down His Godhood, and His majesty and came to earth as one of us. He lived His life completely Sin free only to be stripped, beaten, humiliated, and hung on a cross for you. You and me. He laid down His life for us, rather, He took it up again. He rose from the dead so we may live.

I know. I hear people all the time say they can’t believe that. It is foolish.
“For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God For it is written,
"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart."
Where is the wise one? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe.” 1 Corinthians 1:18-21
There is no other truth. No other message. No other way. God is God.
"I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. "You shall have no other gods before me.

You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.” Exodus 20:2-6
There is only one way to get to Him
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
I apologize if this offends some, but it doesn't change the truth. If Yeshua, or Jesus, is not the cornerstone of the church you are visiting or attending, consider sharing the truth with them. If they do not listen, leave promptly. If necessary, run away. This is a lie, and there is no salvation in it, even if it “feels good.”

If the church you are visiting or are in is telling you ANYTHING that does not line up with this {Holding up the Bible.} Try to tell them the truth. If they do not hear you, leave. Quickly. Run if you have to. It is a lie. There is no salvation in it even if it “feels good.”

If the church you are visiting or are in, does not call sin, sin, and good, good? Try to tell them the truth. If they do not hear you, leave. Quickly. Run if you have to. It is a lie. There is no salvation in it even if it “feels good.”

If the church you are visiting or are in, seems dead, not producing fruit? Try to tell them the truth. If they do not hear you, leave. Quickly. Run if you have to. It is a lie. There is no salvation in it even if it “feels good.”

Be careful child of God. Be careful. There are many wolves in sheep's clothing. There are many deceivers, false teachers and prophets. Jesus would try to educate them but more often than not, they would not listen. What did He do in those cases? He moved on.

Don't waste your time arguing with someone who can't hear the words coming out of your mouth. Not everyone is open to discussion. Try your best, but then move on and let God take care of the rest. However, by simply being present, you might plant a seed, and God can nurture it and help it grow.

Of course, you need to be a child of God first. Are you? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be, say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray.

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Yeshua's sacrifice for me. I believed He rose from the dead. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Yeshua, Amen!"

That's it. It is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. Book of 1 Samuel, Chapter 27

 Chapter 27

David Flees to the Philistines

1 Then David said in his heart, “Now I shall perish one day by the hand of Saul. There is nothing better for me than that I should escape to the land of the Philistines. Then Saul will despair of seeking me any longer within the borders of Israel, and I shall escape out of his hand.” 2 So David arose and went over, he and the six hundred men who were with him, to Achish the son of Maoch, king of Gath. 3 And David lived with Achish at Gath, he and his men, every man with his household, and David with his two wives, Ahinoam of Jezreel, and Abigail of Carmel, Nabal's widow. 4 And when it was told Saul that David had fled to Gath, he no longer sought him.

5 Then David said to Achish, “If I have found favor in your eyes, let a place be given me in one of the country towns, that I may dwell there. For why should your servant dwell in the royal city with you?” 6 So that day Achish gave him Ziklag. Therefore Ziklag has belonged to the kings of Judah to this day. 7 And the number of the days that David lived in the country of the Philistines was a year and four months.

8 Now David and his men went up and made raids against the Geshurites, the Girzites, and the Amalekites, for these were the inhabitants of the land from of old, as far as Shur, to the land of Egypt. 9 And David would strike the land and would leave neither man nor woman alive, but would take away the sheep, the oxen, the donkeys, the camels, and the garments, and come back to Achish. 10 When Achish asked, “Where have you made a raid today?” David would say, “Against the Negeb of Judah,” or, “Against the Negeb of the Jerahmeelites,” or, “Against the Negeb of the Kenites.” 11 And David would leave neither man nor woman alive to bring news to Gath, thinking, “lest they should tell about us and say, ‘So David has done.’” Such was his custom all the while he lived in the country of the Philistines. 12 And Achish trusted David, thinking, “He has made himself an utter stench to his people Israel; therefore he shall always be my servant.”

The Wrong Church, No Sin

 The Sin-Free Church

Welcome. Glad you could join us today. Let us pray. "Heavenly Father, Lord God, all the praise and glory be to You. As we come before You today, we pray that You give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and a spirit to receive Your Truth and Your Revelation. May we be able to discern the Truth from sin and may Your Word feed our spirit as the food You so abundantly bless us with feeds our bodies. May we know the Truth even more today than we ever have. We ask this in Your holy name, Amen!"

A "Sin-free church." Is there such a thing? Sadly, yes. There are a growing number of churches that refuse to teach about sin. Here are some examples of what I would call a "Sin-Free Church."

One that ignores sin.
One that denies sin.
One that glorifies sin.

Of course, we think the last is far worse than the others, but that is not true. Let’s take these one at a time.

One that ignores sin.

Have you ever been to a church that gives you half a message? God loves you. He created you. He wants nothing but the best for you. You are good. You are loved. You are perfect the way that the loving God made you. Think of people like Joel Osteen. He is not the only one. Sadly, there are many, many more, and also sadly, it is a growing trend: preachers who get in the pulpit and do nothing but give you affirmations.

What about sin? They say things like, “Well, I would rather build up and not tear down. I would rather be positive and not negative. I want people to know that there is a loving God and He loves them just how and where they are.”

What if they are in the middle of living their life in sin? After all
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” 1 John 1:8-10
Kinda the whole point that Jesus came. Correct? Yeshua, His actual name, came to pay the price for our sins. Why.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:23
What is so bad about sin?
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
You see, by ignoring sin, you may be allowing someone to continue to live in sin and therefore die in sin and go to Hell. How is this positive? How is this compassionate? True compassion is not holding our tongue and watching people we claim to love go straight to Hell without trying to warn them. Worse than this. It is those who have a church, they have many people who come to the church, yet?

One that denies sin.

They claim that sin is not truly sin. We are cautioned about these individuals, as well as those who condone or celebrate sin.
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil,
who put darkness for light and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20
Why? Because if they call sin good and good sin, they are not of God but of the devil. Homosexuality is a sin. Leviticus 18:1-5, 22-24, 29, Leviticus 20:13, Ezekiel 16:49-51, Romans 1:18-32, just to name a few. Transgenderism is not only a sin but a mental illness as well as a cover for men who want to mess with kids in dressing rooms. Deuteronomy 22:5, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, and Jude 1:7 are just a few more examples of passages in the Word. Homosexuality is NOT ok. It is not accepted and should never be glorified. Transgenderism is NOT ok. All the other nonsense is that. Nonsense and confusion.

Is it ok to accept Gay people and Transgender people into the church? Of course. As long as you are teaching them the truth and they are trying to repent. Is it ok to accept them into the church and allow them to remain just as they are? NO!. Turn to 1 John 3 starting at verse 4
“Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin. No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous.”
Just in case you need clarification or simplification. Keep reading.
”Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God.”
One that glorifies sin.

If your church or the church you are visiting has a Gay Pastor or a Transgender Pastor. Leave. Get up and walk out. Why?
“By this, it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.” 1 John 3:4-10
The time is coming. I would say it is here. In Second Timothy 3
“But understand this, that in the last days, there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,”
Here is where even we, as children of God, must be cautious.
“having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.” 2 Timothy 3:1-7
Yeshua called the people who appeared to be holy yet were living in sin, “Tombs.” “Dead inside.”
"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people's bones and all uncleanness. So you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.” Matthew 23:27-28
God will not be mocked. He will not accept something just because we think He should. He does not change with the times and He does not make mistakes. If you were born a female, you are a female. A male, you are a male. He created marriage to be with one man and one woman for life. Anything else is a lie and should never be honored.

Here is the good news though
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” 1 Peter 1:3
Therefore?
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
This does not say, it is all good, just live on, sin on, and God will love you and you will go to Heaven. Does Yeshua, or Jesus forgive sin? Of course. Yet He says “Go and sin no more.” {John 5:14-15, John 8:10-11} In saying, “Go and sin no more,” Jesus was not speaking of sinless perfection. He was warning against a return to sinful lifestyle choices. His words both extended mercy and demanded holiness. Jesus was always the perfect balance of grace and truth.

Sin is real. The end result of sin is death. There is no other option. There is no other choice. Either you repent and live. Or sin and die. It really is, just that simple.
“Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago.” Act 3:19-21
Sin is sin. The devil is real. Hell is a real place that you do not want to go to. Do not waste your time in the wrong church that fails to warn people about their sins. It is like the blind leading the blind.
“Let them alone; they are blind guides. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” Matthew 15:14
Being in the wrong church that covers sin and rejects the truth is not going to save you or help you in any way. God is not even there. Choose not to be there as well.

Have you been adopted?

Book of 1 Samuel, Chapter 26

 Chapter 26

David Spares Saul Again

1 Then the Ziphites came to Saul at Gibeah, saying, “Is not David hiding himself on the hill of Hachilah, which is on the east of Jeshimon?” 2 So Saul arose and went down to the wilderness of Ziph with three thousand chosen men of Israel to seek David in the wilderness of Ziph. 3 And Saul encamped on the hill of Hachilah, which is beside the road on the east of Jeshimon. But David remained in the wilderness. When he saw that Saul came after him into the wilderness, 4 David sent out spies and learned that Saul had indeed come. 5 Then David rose and came to the place where Saul had encamped. And David saw the place where Saul lay, with Abner the son of Ner, the commander of his army. Saul was lying within the encampment, while the army was encamped around him.

6 Then David said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Joab's brother Abishai the son of Zeruiah, “Who will go down with me into the camp to Saul?” And Abishai said, “I will go down with you.” 7 So David and Abishai went to the army by night. And there lay Saul sleeping within the encampment, with his spear stuck in the ground at his head, and Abner and the army lay around him. 8 Then Abishai said to David, “God has given your enemy into your hand this day. Now please let me pin him to the earth with one stroke of the spear, and I will not strike him twice.” 9 But David said to Abishai, “Do not destroy him, for who can put out his hand against the Lord's anointed and be guiltless?” 10 And David said, “As the Lord lives, the Lord will strike him, or his day will come to die, or he will go down into battle and perish. 11 The Lord forbid that I should put out my hand against the Lord's anointed. But take now the spear that is at his head and the jar of water, and let us go.” 12 So David took the spear and the jar of water from Saul's head, and they went away. No man saw it or knew it, nor did any awake, for they were all asleep, because a deep sleep from the Lord had fallen upon them.

13 Then David went over to the other side and stood far off on the top of the hill, with a great space between them. 14 And David called to the army, and to Abner the son of Ner, saying, “Will you not answer, Abner?” Then Abner answered, “Who are you who calls to the king?” 15 And David said to Abner, “Are you not a man? Who is like you in Israel? Why then have you not kept watch over your lord the king? For one of the people came in to destroy the king your lord. 16 This thing that you have done is not good. As the Lord lives, you deserve to die, because you have not kept watch over your lord, the Lord's anointed. And now see where the king's spear is and the jar of water that was at his head.”

17 Saul recognized David's voice and said, “Is this your voice, my son David?” And David said, “It is my voice, my lord, O king.” 18 And he said, “Why does my lord pursue after his servant? For what have I done? What evil is on my hands? 19 Now therefore let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it is the Lord who has stirred you up against me, may he accept an offering, but if it is men, may they be cursed before the Lord, for they have driven me out this day that I should have no share in the heritage of the Lord, saying, ‘Go, serve other gods.’ 20 Now therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth away from the presence of the Lord, for the king of Israel has come out to seek a single flea like one who hunts a partridge in the mountains.”

21 Then Saul said, “I have sinned. Return, my son David, for I will no more do you harm because my life was precious in your eyes this day. Behold, I have acted foolishly, and have made a great mistake.” 22 And David answered and said, “Here is the spear, O king! Let one of the young men come over and take it. 23 The Lord rewards every man for his righteousness and his faithfulness, for the Lord gave you into my hand today, and I would not put out my hand against the Lord's anointed. 24 Behold, as your life was precious this day in my sight, so may my life be precious in the sight of the Lord, and may he deliver me out of all tribulation.” 25 Then Saul said to David, “Blessed be you, my son David! You will do many things and will succeed in them.” So David went his way, and Saul returned to his place.

The Wrong Church, Not In Here

Not in line with God’s Word

Let us pray. “Oh Heavenly Father, all the praise and glory be to you. May you be with us today and guide, teach, and love us as we gather in your name. Your Word declares where two or more are gathered in your name, there you will be in the midst of them. We pray for eyes to see, ears to hear, and a spirit to receive your truth and revelation, in Yeshua’s name, AMEN!”

If it ain’t in here {holding up the Bible} it ain’t right. If what the church, any church, if what a Pastor, any Pastor, any person for that matter, tries to tell you is not in The Word of God, then it is simply, not true.

No sin. No need to change
Prosperity Gospel
Jesus is not important.
The Bible is not important.

This is where we see the “Itchy Ears” warning playing out.
“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4
This is also a big part of this.
“For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.”
We see this in some churches: You are important, worthy of praise, in control of your destiny, and like the god of your life. So?
“Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.”
I want to ask you an honest question. If you are so wonderful and so amazing and so blessed no matter what you do or how you live your life, why would you need to be saved? Saved from what? Seriously, if there is no sin nor hell, then what was the point of Yeshua coming here to begin with?
“For this reason,”
Say “Because of this.”
“God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.”
Wait. Does this say that God gave up on them? That He allows those who are unrepentant to sin to hell and destruction? Yes. Yes, it does. “How can a loving God allow someone to go to hell a place of torture and suffering forever?” Say “Because of this.” Say “Because God shows us the way, and we reject it over and over and choose our ways aka sin, over His ways of Salvation. God does not choose, nor does He wish ANYONE would choose hell. That is just it. We do. There is a time when He simply lets go. He allows us to choose our way.
“And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, and malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, and ruthless. Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.” Romans 1:21-32
Look around. Look at the state of society today. Remember, not too long ago, people argued that God had no place in public. Not in our schools, government, or public arenas. No God at all? Remember the argument about Gay Marriage? What harm would it do? Now we have Transgenderism insanity of those who what to allow the mutilation of our children and allow pedophilia to become normal and good.

Instead of helping those who are mentally sick to get the help they need, or locked up to keep our children safe, we are praising the sickness. Praise and take “pride” in those who practice such a practice. Little girls are going into gym locker rooms and finding naked men in there claiming, “I identify as a woman so there is nothing you can do about it.” But what is worse than that? Some of our churches have started to do the same.

No sin. No need to change

Here really is the meat of the matter. If there is no sin, no devil, no hell, then what do we need to be saved from? Seriously. If God is an all-accepting and loving God, who would never send anyone to a place of eternal suffering, no matter what we do, then why do we need a savior? Saved from what?

I know to more true children of God we find this idiotic at best. Of course, we need a savior. Of course, we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. {Romans 3:23} Of course, none of us are good, no not one. {Luke 18:19} How do some of these false churches rationalize this?

Most do it this way. “Of course, we need a savior. We have one. His name is Jesus. He came and paid the final price, so now we all go to heaven because He paid the price for all, and so all go to heaven. Just be you. God loves you. He will welcome you when the time comes, so just be you.”

Some do it this way. “We are not God. His ways are not our ways. He understands that we may mess up from time to time and He will forgive us if we ask or not, because we know no better. Look what Jesus said to those who crucified him. ‘And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.' so do not worry about it.” Oh, and Jesus paid the price.

Some will even teach that Hell was never intended for man but for the devil and his angels only, using the text: “eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.” Matthew 25:41. I know, I know. Some of you are saying, “Wait.” That is because you know the truth. We will get to that in a few minutes.

These are all true—to a point. However, they are like half-truths and things that sound good to hear. Did Yeshua, or Jesus, come to pay the price? Yes. Did He take your place? Yes. Does God know that we are nothing but infants who know no better? Yes. Was Hell created for the devil and the fallen angels? Yes. However, let's look at some of the texts, shall we?
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order for the world to be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” John 3:16
Yes, Jesus came and died for our sins, and?
“Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
“IF” As long as. When you. Because you. You have to accept His gift for you to be saved. It is not automatic. It is not a blanket. He is waiting on as many to accept Him as possible. Look here. Turn to 2 Peter 3:9
“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.”
What would God be waiting for if it were automatic and for everyone? This is why some of our churches are teaching this.

Jesus and The Bible are not important or needed for salvation. Turn to Matthew 10, starting at verse 34
"Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword, for I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person's enemies will be those of his household.”
Then we read this. In Hebrews 4:12-13
“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”
Jesus is the Authority of the Church and well, any and everything. He is God. His Word, The Word of God, The Bible, convicts. Teaches. Correct. Feeds. Waters. Helps us grow in faith and in our relationship with Him. It also gives us a clear light in the darkness and shows us the difference between truth and lies. Without it, you can and will believe in lies.

Prosperity Gospel

God wants you to be healthy, wealthy, and wise. Really? I think Luke 12:16-21 would disagree. What about here when He was talking to the Rich man?
“Jesus said to him, "If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me." When the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.” Matthew 19:21-22
Does this sound like the Prosperity Gospel? Look here.
“But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.” 1 Timothy 6:8
Yeshua said this.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33
Nowhere in The Word of God does it say He wants you rich. Nowhere in the Bible does it tell us that if we give to a Pastor on TV we will be blessed beyond our ability to comprehend and have riches. It is all a lie. There is most definitely a reason for tithing. However, getting rich quickly is not it. God is not the stock market or a lotto. He is your Father who seeks a one-on-one relationship with you.

Be careful, child of God. If you hear anything from anyone, including me, that does not align with this? {Holding up the Bible} It is a lie. It is false. It is not of God. If the Word, Jesus, is absent; if sin is welcomed or praised; and if what you are hearing contradicts the Word of God, it is a false church, and you should run away from it as fast as you can. Why? Because they are very convincing, and you may be deceived if you are not grounded in the Truth.

Have you been adopted?

Book of 1 Samuel, Chapter 25

 Chapter 25

The Death of Samuel

25 Now Samuel died. And all Israel assembled and mourned for him, and they buried him in his house at Ramah.

David and Abigail

Then David rose and went down to the wilderness of Paran. 2 And there was a man in Maon whose business was in Carmel. The man was very rich; he had three thousand sheep and a thousand goats. He was shearing his sheep in Carmel. 3 Now the name of the man was Nabal and the name of his wife was Abigail. The woman was discerning and beautiful, but the man was harsh and badly behaved; he was a Calebite. 4 David heard in the wilderness that Nabal was shearing his sheep. 5 So David sent ten young men. And David said to the young men, “Go up to Carmel, and go to Nabal and greet him in my name. 6 And thus you shall greet him: ‘Peace be to you, and peace be to your house, and peace be to all that you have. 7 I hear that you have shearers. Now your shepherds have been with us, and we did them no harm, and they missed nothing all the time they were in Carmel. 8 Ask your young men, and they will tell you. Therefore let my young men find favor in your eyes, for we come on a feast day. Please give whatever you have at hand to your servants and to your son David.’”

9 When David's young men came, they said all this to Nabal in the name of David, and then they waited. 10 And Nabal answered David's servants, “Who is David? Who is the son of Jesse? There are many servants these days who are breaking away from their masters. 11 Shall I take my bread and my water and my meat that I have killed for my shearers and give it to men who come from I do not know where?” 12 So David's young men turned away and came back and told him all this. 13 And David said to his men, “Every man strap on his sword!” And every man of them strapped on his sword. David also strapped on his sword. And about four hundred men went up after David, while two hundred remained with the baggage.

14 But one of the young men told Abigail, Nabal's wife, “Behold, David sent messengers out of the wilderness to greet our master, and he railed at them. 15 Yet the men were very good to us, and we suffered no harm, and we did not miss anything when we were in the fields, as long as we went with them. 16 They were a wall to us both by night and by day, all the while we were with them keeping the sheep. 17 Now therefore know this and consider what you should do, for harm is determined against our master and against all his house, and he is such a worthless man that one cannot speak to him.”

18 Then Abigail made haste and took two hundred loaves and two skins of wine and five sheep already prepared and five seahs[a] of parched grain and a hundred clusters of raisins and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on donkeys. 19 And she said to her young men, “Go on before me; behold, I come after you.” But she did not tell her husband Nabal. 20 And as she rode on the donkey and came down under cover of the mountain, behold, David and his men came down toward her, and she met them. 21 Now David had said, “Surely in vain have I guarded all that this fellow has in the wilderness, so that nothing was missed of all that belonged to him, and he has returned me evil for good. 22 God do so to the enemies of David and more also if by morning I leave so much as one male of all who belongs to him.”

23 When Abigail saw David, she hurried and got down from the donkey and fell before David on her face, and bowed to the ground. 24 She fell at his feet and said, “On me alone, my lord, be the guilt. Please let your servant speak in your ears, and hear the words of your servant. 25 Let not my lord regard this worthless fellow, Nabal, for as his name is, so is he. Nabal is his name, and folly is with him. But I your servant did not see the young men of my lord, whom you sent. 26 Now then, my lord, as the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, because the Lord has restrained you from bloodguilt and from saving with your own hand, now then let your enemies and those who seek to do evil to my lord be as Nabal. 27 And now let this present that your servant has brought to my lord be given to the young men who follow my lord. 28 Please forgive the trespass of your servant. For the Lord will certainly make my lord a sure house, because my lord is fighting the battles of the Lord, and evil shall not be found in you so long as you live. 29 If men rise up to pursue you and to seek your life, the life of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of the living in the care of the Lord your God. And the lives of your enemies he shall sling out as from the hollow of a sling. 30 And when the Lord has done to my lord according to all the good that he has spoken concerning you and has appointed you prince over Israel, 31 my lord shall have no cause of grief or pangs of conscience for having shed blood without cause or for my lord working salvation himself. And when the Lord has dealt well with my lord, then remember your servant.”

32 And David said to Abigail, “Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who sent you this day to meet me! 33 Blessed be your discretion, and blessed be you, who have kept me this day from bloodguilt and from working salvation with my own hand! 34 For as surely as the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, who has restrained me from hurting you, unless you had hurried and come to meet me, truly by morning there had not been left to Nabal so much as one male.” 35 Then David received from her hand what she had brought him. And he said to her, “Go up in peace to your house. See, I have obeyed your voice, and I have granted your petition.”

36 And Abigail came to Nabal, and behold, he was holding a feast in his house, like the feast of a king. And Nabal's heart was merry within him, for he was very drunk. So she told him nothing at all until the morning light. 37 In the morning, when the wine had gone out of Nabal, his wife told him these things, and his heart died within him, and he became a stone. 38 And about ten days later the Lord struck Nabal, and he died.

39 When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, “Blessed be the Lord who has avenged the insult I received at the hand of Nabal and has kept back his servant from wrongdoing. The Lord has returned the evil of Nabal on his own head.” Then David sent and spoke to Abigail, to take her as his wife. 40 When the servants of David came to Abigail at Carmel, they said to her, “David has sent us to you to take you to him as his wife.” 41 And she rose and bowed with her face to the ground and said, “Behold, your handmaid is a servant to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.” 42 And Abigail hurried and rose and mounted a donkey, and her five young women attended her. She followed the messengers of David and became his wife.

43 David also took Ahinoam of Jezreel, and both of them became his wives. 44 Saul had given Michal his daughter, David's wife, to Palti the son of Laish, who was of Gallim.

Trust in The Lord 3

Putting God in charge of your tomorrow.

Hello and welcome! Today, we will conclude our series on “Trust in the Lord.” If you have joined us over the past two weeks, you know we have already discussed trusting in God and putting Him first in our lives. Today, we will focus on putting God in charge of our tomorrows.

Let us pray.

We often make plans for tomorrow, considering where we want to live, what we want to drive, and how we envision our retirement. We all keep track of our 401(k) accounts and our savings for the future. But have you ever thought about your 401(E)? You have one! Think about the home you will live in for a much longer time than just the 15 to 20 years after your retirement here on Earth.

Let me ask you this. Are you trusting in yourself, or is God in charge of your tomorrow? Look what Yeshua, or Jesus, says about tomorrow.
“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:34
We have no idea what tomorrow will bring.
“Do not boast about tomorrow,
for you do not know what a day may bring.” Proverbs 27:1
James warns us about this also.
“Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” James 4:13-15
We can have the best-laid plans. But what if—bear with me now—tomorrow never comes? We have talked about this many times, but it is a great illustration. This is real life.

It is just a normal, average, mundane Tuesday. People woke up. Commenced with their routines. Some took showers, some didn’t. Some had breakfast, some didn’t. Some kissed their loved ones one last time. Having no idea, it was the last time. Then they went out the door. Then at 8:13 am, everything changed. Everything in the entire country changed. You see, we do not know what is going to happen in the next hour. You may not even finish reading this. We do not know. But it does not have to be the end of the world. It does not have to be 3000 plus people losing their lives. Remember this story?

As some of you know, my Mother passed on, now a few years ago. She became really bad and unable to care for herself at the end of her life. We turned over her care to Hospice. For those of you who do not know who Hospice is, they are a group of people who have Doctors, Nurses, Caregivers, and even Care Facilities. Unlike hospitals, their facilities are like homes. They make those under their care comfortable until the time comes. They are fantastic. I have nothing but good things to say about Hospice. They truly care.

My Mother went in on a Saturday night. I, her husband, her sister, and our kids, went in to see her on Sunday. It was a good day. We ordered Pizza and hung out there for hours. The Charge Nurse told us that if my oldest son Joshua, and his "Poppop" wanted to, they could spend the night with her, anytime. So they made plans to do so that coming Saturday.

Well, Mom went downhill fast. She passed at 4:05 am that Thursday morning. For Josh and Poppop, Saturday never came. Mom is in a far better place, and Josh and Poppop, and the rest of the family, myself included, had to figure out how to move on. Saturday never came. That Thursday changed our family forever.

For us, for everyone, really, but as children of God, there is no tomorrow except what comes. However, we do not have to worry about it. Turn to Matthew 6. We will be in there for a bit. Matthew 6: Start at verse 19. Remember, this is Yeshua, or Jesus, talking.
"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.”
This is your 401 E or your eternal “retirement fund.” Tithes and offerings, serving others. Sacrifices we make daily. Sharing the Gospel. Why?
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
This is why it is so important to change your mindset. Verse 24
"No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”
We all, as children of God, have to stop relying on ourselves or the things of this world, for our future. Look what our Lord tells us here, Verse 25
"Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
Stop relying on you. Stop leaning on your own understanding. You do not know what tomorrow will bring, but God does.
"Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
Paul writes in his letter to the Philippians, Philippians 4:6-7
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Not only does God love you so that He laid down His Godhood, came to earth while we were in the middle of our sins, birthed into the flesh as we did, and lived a perfect life only to be mocked, stripped, beaten, and murdered for you. For me. But He loves us so much that He wants a relationship with Him. He wants us to be His children and Him to be our Abba-Father.

God does not want the worst for us. He does not want us to just work and pay bills and die. Look here
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
Yeshua said this in Luke 11:11-13
“What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"
We must put God in charge of our tomorrow. Why would you not want to do this? He is there. He knows what is coming. He is the Alpha and the Omega, The Beginning and the Last. He is the great “I Am.” He is also our Daddy. Our Father. The only one that can do anything and all things. Oh, and? He knows better than we do. I know, right?

Do you have this assurance? Are you a child of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart.

All Things are Temporal 3

Your stuff - Materialism  Hello. Welcome to today's discussion. We are discussing the fact that all things are temporal—yes, ALL things...
