Why the Bible is Truth, Today

 We are in the Bible, today. 


Did you know we are living out Bibicle prophecies today? As we speak? We are in Biblical time now. Today. Look around. What do you see? Read the following carefully. Romans 1:18-32
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

For this reason, God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them."
Now there is a wealth of information here. First,
"For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things."
This country was founded on the Gospel. "In God, We Trust" is on our Money. Our "Declaration of Independence" states "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." Our Constitution's first amendment reads this way "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." That is freedom OF Religion. NOT freedom FROM Religion. Sorry, there is no wall.

Yet? The whole reason we even exist as a country is being forgotten and done away with. We do not honor God. As a matter of fact, we as a nation violate the whole basis of our laws, the Ten Commandments, on a daily basis

1- Have no other gods before God? America today, any god will do. Or even better, no god at all.

2- Thou shall not commit Idolatry. America today? Along with the rest of the world. Money, Self, and even Astrology are our Idols. The Self Idol being an ever-increasing commonplace with the Internet. Look at me. Check out how many followers I have. I may even get paid if I have enough followers. What are they following you for?

3-Do not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. America today? Keep that God stuff to yourself. He does not belong in society. He is nothing important to the masses.

4- Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. America today? We live in a 24-7-7 society. You do not get to chose, easily, when you or when you do not work. Besides, even if you are off, Saturday is a fun day. A time of drinking and doing all those things you can't during the week.

5- Honour your father and mother. America today? The government has become the father in many households. We have turned away from our obligation and given it to others, including Nursing Homes.

6-Thou shall not commit murder. America today? Abortion.

7- Thou shall not commit adultery. America today? Who cares? It is nothing more than a piece of paper. Everyone has a right to marry anyone. If it does not work out? Who cares? No big deal. We even have tv shows based on people cheating.

8- Thou shall not steal. America today? Well, that all depends. If you are taking money from a millionaire to give it to someone who doesn't have much, that is cool. It's not fair someone has millions and someone else has to struggle to pay bills.

9- You shall not bear false witness. America today? Seriously?

10- Thou shall not covet. America today? Lotto? Lie cheat and steal to get ahead? All is ok. No big deal.
"Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen."
Sadly even some of our churches have gotten away from teaching the truth according to God, yes this is where "TAG" came from, and have started teaching only those things the people want to hear. 2 Timothy 4:3-4
"For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths"
The Prosperity Gospel is a big one. It's ok to be gay? Another big one. Abortion is a woman's right. Name it and claim it? There is no hell. No devil. In some cases, there is no god at all. Speaking of Homosexuality?
"For this reason, God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error."
Also see Leviticus 18:1-5, 22-24, 29, Leviticus 20:13, Ezekiel 16:49-51. God is pretty serious about this folks. Of course, I do not now, nor have I ever, advocate, condone, or believe in, violence toward anyone or group, for any reason other than this, they are attempting to murder you. Then you have a right to defend yourself. Other than that, only God knows what is in the individual heart of man. Only God can save. It is not for me to condemn or justify an individual. That is between you and God. We are to love the sinner, but we must be cautious to not justify the sin.

America Today? In America, we have decided to not only accept sin, but we have also decided to justify it. They are clear cut, crystal clear, Sins. They are against God and against nature itself. Yet, as a nation, we have decided to justify them and make them normal. Of course, some will become offended by the message today. I get that.

However? The Truth is the Truth, regardless of your acceptance of it or not. God is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. If you find yourself offended by the Word of God, it is YOU that you need to reexamine. Not God.

As a Nation, and other places around the world, not only have we accepted these sins as normal, we have justified them. Even going as so far as to create laws to PROTECT them. We have established them. We have embraced them. Now, if someone like me, points out that these are true, clear cases of sin that God Himself warned us to stay away from, WE are called the ones with the problem. There is a move to actually make it illegal to even speak out against these things. However, none of this changes the fact that they are what they are. sin.

Now, of course, Evolution is all part of this as well. The Universe just happened. The majesty of it just came about. We must worship at the altar of mother earth. That is why scams like global warming, aka "climate Change" works. They have turned it into a religion. Think about that.

Christianity has a God. Christianity has heaven and hell. To get to heaven, you have to accept the Savior. Follow what He says. Do His will. Give of yourself. If you sin and do not become repentant, you do not accept the key, the gift that is Salvation, you go to Hell.

GW or CC has mother earth. GW or CC has a savior. Al Gore. You must do what he says, follow his commandments. If you do, you will go to heaven. A clean, and healthy earth. One that will grant you long life and life for your children. You have to give of yourself, your money. You have to buy carbon offsets from the companies that are being set up. Like the one Al Gore owns. The one he buys from. Then you can be absolved of your sins. But if you sin, say fail to change your light bulbs, then you are evil. You will go to hell. A dead earth that will destroy you and generations to come.

Both are absolutes. There is no questioning. No debating. Both are facts that the followers will fight to their dying breath to convert you. Neither will be swayed from their convictions. To true believers, it is insane that you do not see the "reality" of the situation. That is why it works.

Let's look at the change in our language. Remember when comedians were funny because they were. Not because of the number of curse words they could throw in there. Remember when Parents admonished their children on how they should speak. Remember when hell was actually a bad word, and Jesus THE Christ was Lord only? When if you said "God damn you" you actually meant it?

In Galatians, we learn about the fruit of the works of the flesh. I want you to think about today's society and what is acceptable and what is the norm today.
"Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." Galatians 5:19-21
Think politics. Look that the local news. Look at what is being put on television as entertainment today. One of the biggest problems with living in an "anything goes society" is anything goes. But we are not to give in to all this. We are to be above it. Separated from it. Look at Philippians 2:14-15
"Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,"
By doing this, by walking in the spirit, you will no longer receive the fruit of the flesh. You will receive the fruit of the spirit which is this.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things, there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another." Galatians 5:22-25
Today is very much depicted in the Bible. So is tomorrow. A time yet to come. That is what we will be discussing next time. Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray.

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I believed He raised from the dead. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, You shall be saved." Romans 10:9. You need to find a Church that God leads you to and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A New Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him."Colossians 3:10

Book of Isaiah, Chapter 7

 Chapter 7


Isaiah Sent to King Ahaz

1 In the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, son of Uzziah, king of Judah, Rezin the king of Syria and Pekah the son of Remaliah the king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to wage war against it, but could not yet mount an attack against it. 2 When the house of David was told, “Syria is in league with Ephraim,” the heart of Ahaz and the heart of his people shook as the trees of the forest shake before the wind.

3 And the Lord said to Isaiah, “Go out to meet Ahaz, you and Shear-jashub your son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool on the highway to the Washer's Field. 4 And say to him, ‘Be careful, be quiet, do not fear, and do not let your heart be faint because of these two smoldering stumps of firebrands, at the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria and the son of Remaliah. 5 Because Syria, with Ephraim and the son of Remaliah, has devised evil against you, saying, 6 “Let us go up against Judah and terrify it, and let us conquer it for ourselves, and set up the son of Tabeel as king in the midst of it,” 7 thus says the Lord God:

“‘It shall not stand,

    and it shall not come to pass.

8 For the head of Syria is Damascus,

    and the head of Damascus is Rezin.

And within sixty-five years

    Ephraim will be shattered from being a people.

9 And the head of Ephraim is Samaria,

    and the head of Samaria is the son of Remaliah.

If you are not firm in faith,

    you will not be firm at all.’”

The Sign of Immanuel

10 Again the Lord spoke to Ahaz: 11 “Ask a sign of the Lord your God; let it be deep as Sheol or high as heaven.” 12 But Ahaz said, “I will not ask, and I will not put the Lord to the test.” 13 And he said, “Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary men, that you weary my God also? 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. 15 He shall eat curds and honey when he knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good. 16 For before the boy knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land whose two kings you dread will be deserted. 17 The Lord will bring upon you and upon your people and upon your father's house such days as have not come since the day that Ephraim departed from Judah—the king of Assyria!”

18 In that day the Lord will whistle for the fly that is at the end of the streams of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria. 19 And they will all come and settle in the steep ravines, and in the clefts of the rocks, and on all the thornbushes, and on all the pastures.

20 In that day the Lord will shave with a razor that is hired beyond the River—with the king of Assyria—the head and the hair of the feet, and it will sweep away the beard also.

21 In that day a man will keep alive a young cow and two sheep, 22 and because of the abundance of milk that they give, he will eat curds, for everyone who is left in the land will eat curds and honey.

23 In that day every place where there used to be a thousand vines, worth a thousand shekels of silver, will become briers and thorns. 24 With bow and arrows a man will come there, for all the land will be briers and thorns. 25 And as for all the hills that used to be hoed with a hoe, you will not come there for fear of briers and thorns, but they will become a place where cattle are let loose and where sheep tread.

Why The Bible is Truth, Jesus

 The Coming Messiah 


Welcome, today. Today we have a very special deal for ya. We are giving away a twofer. That's right. we are giving you a two for one. We will do both, prove the Bible true, and prove that there can be no one else, other than Jesus, who is the Messiah. The Messiah that was predicted to come, and did. Living His life in accordance to the fulfillment of scripture.

Did you know that the entire Bible is all about Jesus? Yup. The Old Testament as well as the New. You may have heard it this way, In Genesis, Jesus is the Ram at Abraham’s altar. In Exodus, He’s the Passover Lamb. In Leviticus, He’s the High Priest. In Numbers, He’s the Cloud by day and Pillar of Fire by night. In Deuteronomy, He’s the City of our refuge. In Joshua, He’s the Scarlet Thread out Rahab’s window. In Judges, He is our Judge. In Ruth, He is our Kinsman Redeemer, In 1st and 2nd Samuel He’s our Trusted Prophet, And in Kings and Chronicles, He’s our Reigning King. In Ezra, He’s our Faithful Scribe. In Nehemiah, He’s the Rebuilder of everything that is broken. And in Esther, He is the Mordecai sitting faithfully at the gate. In Job, He’s our Redeemer that ever lives. In Psalms, He is my Shepherd and I shall not want. In Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, He’s our Wisdom. And in the Song of Solomon, He’s the Beautiful Bridegroom. In Isaiah, He’s the Suffering Servant. In Jeremiah and Lamentations, it is Jesus that is the Weeping Prophet. In Ezekiel, He’s the Wonderful Four-Faced Man. In Daniel, He is the Fourth Man in the midst of a fiery furnace. In Hosea, He is my Love that is forever faithful. In Joel, He baptizes us with the Holy Spirit. In Amos, He’s our Burden Bearer. In Obadiah our Savior. And in Jonah, He is the Great Foreign Missionary that takes the Word of God into all the world. In Micah, He is the Messenger with beautiful feet. In Nahum, He is the Avenger. In Habakkuk, He is the Watchman that is ever praying for revival. In Zephaniah, He is the Lord mighty to save. In Haggai, He is the Restorer of our lost heritage. In Zechariah, He is our Fountain. And in Malachi, He is the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings.

It goes on to talk about the New Testament as well, though that is pretty easy to see that is all about Him. But if you have time and are curious, I encourage you to check out the in-depth study we did here about this topic. Today we are going to highlight just a basic few.

Where would the Messiah, now known as to be Jesus, be born?
"But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from of old, from ancient days." Micah 5:2
The Book of Daniel predicted the time when Jesus would be born. Daniel lived more than 500 years before the birth of Jesus. Nevertheless, God revealed to Daniel information that would make it possible to pinpoint the time when Jesus would be anointed, or appointed, as the Messiah or Christ. Daniel was told this.
"Know therefore and understand that from the going out of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks, it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time." Daniel 9:25
In an extremely simplified way of understanding this, a week is not 7 days in this case, but rather 7 years. If we count from 455 B.C.E., a period of 483 years takes us to the year 29 C.E. That was exactly the year when Jesus was baptized and became the Messiah! see Luke 3:1, 2, 21, 22

The Messiah will be born of a virgin.
"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Isaiah 7.14
I know I know, I'm going to upset someone. Sorry. No, not really sorry. But if your messiah has an earthly mother and an earthly father, he is NOT the Messiah predicted in the Bible. Was Jesus? Matthew 1:18-21
"Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”
Now we know the story of Jesus and His life on earth. But look how beautifully it is described here. Almost like the writer was painting a picture of Jesus.
"Who has believed what he has heard from us?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
For he grew up before him like a young plant,
and like a root out of dry ground;
he had no form or majesty that we should look at him,
and no beauty that we should desire him.
He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief;
and as one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Surely he has borne our griefs
and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed him stricken,
smitten by God, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
and with his wounds we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned—every one—to his own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted,
yet he opened not his mouth;
like a lamb that is led to the slaughter,
and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent,
so he opened not his mouth.
By oppression and judgment he was taken away;
and as for his generation, who considered
that he was cut off out of the land of the living,
stricken for the transgression of my people?
And they made his grave with the wicked
and with a rich man in his death,
although he had done no violence,
and there was no deceit in his mouth.

Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him;
he has put him to grief;
when his soul makes an offering for guilt,
he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days;
the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied;
by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant,
make many to be accounted righteous,
and he shall bear their iniquities.
Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many,
and he shall divide the spoil with the strong,
because he poured out his soul to death
and was numbered with the transgressors;
yet he bore the sin of many,
and makes intercession for the transgressors."
Absolutely spot-on picture of Jesus and His life. This was Isaiah 53. Isaiah wrote this some 700 years before the birth of Jesus. Not a recap of His life, but a full-on prediction, with every detail proven true.

How about 30 pieces of silver? Zechariah 11:12-13
"Then I said to them, “If it seems good to you, give me my wages; but if not, keep them.” And they weighed out as my wages thirty pieces of silver. Then the Lord said to me, “Throw it to the potter”—the lordly price at which I was priced by them. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the Lord, to the potter."
Matthew 27: 3
records this.
"Then when Judas, his betrayer, saw that Jesus was condemned, he changed his mind and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders, saying, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” They said, “What is that to us? See to it yourself.”And throwing down the pieces of silver into the temple, he departed, and he went and hanged himself. But the chief priests, taking the pieces of silver, said, “It is not lawful to put them into the treasury since it is blood money.” So they took counsel and bought with them the potter's field as a burial place for strangers. Therefore that field has been called the Field of Blood to this day. Then was fulfilled what had been spoken by the prophet Jeremiah, saying, “And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him on whom a price had been set by some of the sons of Israel, and they gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord directed me.”
How about the way Jesus, the Messiah, would be to die? Palm 22
Why Have You Forsaken Me?
To the choirmaster: according to The Doe of the Dawn. A Psalm of David.
"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning?
O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer,
and by night, but I find no rest.

Yet you are holy,
enthroned on the praises of Israel.
In you our fathers trusted;
they trusted, and you delivered them.
To you they cried and were rescued;
in you they trusted and were not put to shame.

But I am a worm and not a man,
scorned by mankind and despised by the people.
All who see me mock me;
they make mouths at me; they wag their heads;
“He trusts in the Lord; let him deliver him;
let him rescue him, for he delights in him!”

Yet you are he who took me from the womb;
you made me trust you at my mother's breasts.
On you was I cast from my birth,
and from my mother's womb you have been my God.
Be not far from me,
for trouble is near,
and there is none to help.

Many bulls encompass me;
strong bulls of Bashan surround me;
they open wide their mouths at me,
like a ravening and roaring lion.

I am poured out like water,
and all my bones are out of joint;
my heart is like wax;
it is melted within my breast;
my strength is dried up like a potsherd,
and my tongue sticks to my jaws;
you lay me in the dust of death.

For dogs encompass me;
a company of evildoers encircles me;
they have pierced my hands and feet
I can count all my bones—
they stare and gloat over me;
they divide my garments among them,
and for my clothing they cast lots.

But you, O Lord, do not be far off!
O you my help, come quickly to my aid!
Deliver my soul from the sword,
my precious life from the power of the dog!
Save me from the mouth of the lion!
You have rescued me from the horns of the wild oxen!

I will tell of your name to my brothers;
in the midst of the congregation I will praise you:
You who fear the Lord, praise him!
All you offspring of Jacob, glorify him,
and stand in awe of him, all you offspring of Israel!
For he has not despised or abhorred
the affliction of the afflicted,
and he has not hidden his face from him,
but has heard, when he cried to him.

From you comes my praise in the great congregation;
my vows I will perform before those who fear him.
The afflicted shall eat and be satisfied;
those who seek him shall praise the Lord!
May your hearts live forever!

All the ends of the earth shall remember
and turn to the Lord,
and all the families of the nations
shall worship before you.
For kingship belongs to the Lord,
and he rules over the nations.

All the prosperous of the earth eat and worship;
before him shall bow all who go down to the dust,
even the one who could not keep himself alive.
Posterity shall serve him;
it shall be told of the Lord to the coming generation;
they shall come and proclaim his righteousness to a people yet unborn,
that he has done it.
Jesus quoted on the cross Matthew 27
"Now from the sixth hour, there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” And some of the bystanders, hearing it, said, “This man is calling Elijah.” And one of them at once ran and took a sponge, filled it with sour wine, and put it on a reed and gave it to him to drink. But the others said, “Wait, let us see whether Elijah will come to save him.” And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit."

not one of them is broken."
Pierced in His side. Zechariah 12:10
“And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn."
Everyone from historians and New Testament writers confirms the fulfillment: Jesus of Nazareth died on a Roman cross, and his extraordinarily quick death eliminated the need for the usual breaking of bones. A spear was thrust into his side to verify that he was, indeed, dead. One of the most amazing things about this is that David wrote this some 600 years before Crucifixion was even invented.

It has been calculated that the odds of one person being able to fulfill just eight of the over 400 prophecies which Jesus fulfilled, as greater than, 10¹⁷. The 22nd Psalm alone contains 17 predictions regarding the death of the Messiah. The probability that Jesus could fulfill these 17 prophecies which David vividly described, is beyond any possibility that He did so by accident. The fact that Jesus fulfilled all 17 of David’s predictions in the 22nd Psalm, demands that we acknowledge Him as the intended subject of these prophecies. But He did not just fulfill these, He fulfilled all 400 plus. Proving both, the Bible, and Jesus, to be true.

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray.

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I believed He raised from the dead. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, You shall be saved." Romans 10:9. You need to find a Church that God leads you to and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A New Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him."Colossians 3:10

Isaiah's Vision of the Lord

6 In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one called to another and said:

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;

the whole earth is full of his glory!”

4 And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!”

6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 And he touched my mouth and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.”

8 And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” 9 And he said, “Go, and say to this people:

“‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand;

keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’

10 Make the heart of this people dull,

    and their ears heavy,

    and blind their eyes;

lest they see with their eyes,

    and hear with their ears,

and understand with their hearts,

    and turn and be healed.”

11 Then I said, “How long, O Lord?”

And he said:

“Until cities lie waste

    without inhabitant,

and houses without people,

    and the land is a desolate waste,

12 and the Lord removes people far away,

    and the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.

13 And though a tenth remain in it,

    it will be burned again,

like a terebinth or an oak,

    whose stump remains

    when it is felled.”

The holy seed is its stump.

Why the Bible is Truth, Science

Science proves the Bible true.


I hear all the time that you have to choose, the Bible, or Science. God, or Science. That you cannot believe both. Most of the time this is related to the whole "Why are we here?" question. We are told, you must believe in Evolution or you must believe in Creationism, but you cannot believe in both because Science is real and true, and the Bible is a book of faith that cannot possibly be true.

Well? Let's look at Science and the Bible a bit more closely. Are they really contradictory? Do they really oppose each other? Are they so opposed that they are enmity towards one another? The simple truth is, no. As a matter of fact, as our understanding of Science continues to improve through various means and techniques, what we actually find is that Science actually proves the Bible true.

Today we are just going to touch the surface with some examples of how when Science caught up with what the Bible says, we can clearly see that the Bible was right all along. Let's start with an obvious, but one that has played out a lot lately today. Quarantine is needed to keep the majority safe.

Turn to Leviticus 13:45-46
“The leprous person who has the disease shall wear torn clothes and let the hair of his head hang loose, and he shall cover his upper lip and cry out, ‘Unclean, unclean.’ He shall remain unclean as long as he has the disease. He is unclean. He shall live alone. His dwelling shall be outside the camp."
Is this a punishment? No. Of course not. However, it is needed to protect the healthy. Look around today. We now have a pandemic called Covid. What does Science say is the best way to protect the healthy? A 14-day Quarantine. Face masks, and social distancing. Separation and the disease can in no way spread.

The Bible told us this somewhere around 538–332 BC. Today, our top Scientists have found it to be true. Here are some others. Let's stick with health for a sec. Also in Leviticus, Leviticus 17:11
"For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life."
Again, Leviticus was written somewhere between 538–332 BC. During that time and many years after, it was thought to heal a sick person would be to bleed them. Actually removing their life force instead of attempting to heal the disease. In bloodletting, doctors use sharpened tools or leeches to drain “excess blood” from a patient in an effort to cure the patient’s illness. Bloodletting was an accepted medical procedure worldwide for 3,000 years until it was discredited as an ineffective medical practice in the late 19th century AD.

Interesting note, George Washington died one cold night in 1799, due to bloodletting. Washington developed a fever and a swollen sore throat. Within hours of falling ill, doctors had drained Washington of almost half of his blood. Washington died the next day from what doctors have retrospectively diagnosed as a severe throat infection and shock.

Now it is true that bloodletting is still used in the present day in very specific medical procedures, bloodletting is generally discredited as an ineffectual treatment for the majority of ailments. Today, modern medicine agrees with the Bible that blood gives our body life. Studies have discovered that blood is vital in nourishing living tissue by carrying oxygen and nutrients, forming blood clots, transporting antibodies to fight infection, moving waste to the kidneys/liver, and regulating body temperature.

While we are at it. Jesus sweating blood? Luke 22:44
"And being in agony he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground."
Not possible? Commonly referred to as Hematidrosis or Hemohidrosis, this condition results in the excretion of blood or blood pigment in the sweat. Under conditions of great emotional stress, tiny capillaries in the sweat glands can rupture, thus mixing blood with perspiration. This condition has been reported in extreme instances of stress. 76 cases of Hematidrosis were studied and classified into categories according to causative factors. The most frequent causes of the phenomenon were found to be “acute fear” and “intense mental contemplation.” So yes, Jesus facing all He was about to, including the Cross, DID sweat blood.

Let get away from all this blood talk. What about simply having a positive attitude? What about the connection between having a positive attitude and good health? What about depression causing harm possibly to the point of death? Proverbs 17:22
"A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."
The Bible also tells us this.
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." Philippians 4:8
Today the mind-body link is such a respected tenet of the medical community that world-renowned academic medical institutions such as the Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins promote positive thinking as a way to maintain physical health. This is also why it is so important that if you or someone you know is feeling depressed or hopeless, you seek help as soon as possible. There is no shame. We all need a hand from time to time.

Let's talk about the Earth. Shall we? The Bible does tell us all about it. First, God created it. The Big Bang did happen. God spoke, and BANG! Oh, that is nonsense some say. Evolution is a scientifically proven fact. No need for faith. Really?

First, you have to believe in the scientifically impossible. There was nothing, then something just happened. This is scientifically and mathematically impossible. God was the first something, but they exclude that rendering the theory of evolution junk science. Then you have to overcome the next hurdle. They want you to believe from this first single something came everything. Not only came all that is, from trees to plants, from fish to people, that want you to believe that we did not all come from the same man and woman.

The Bible claims that God created animals “after their kind.”
"And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the third day." Genesis 1:11-13
Nineteenth-century biologists argued that animals evolved from other, very different animals, but today biology confirms that creatures reproduce within their own kind.
"And God said, “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.”  So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.  And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.

And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so. And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good."
Mankind?
"The man called his wife's name Eve because she was the mother of all living." Genesis 3:20
In Acts 17:26 we read this.
"And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place,"
Then in 1 Corinthians 15:45
"Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit."
The Bible claims that all humans are “one blood” descended from one man and one woman. Some nineteenth-century biologists argued that different races descended from lower animals, but today genetics has verified that there is only one human race.

What about Earth in space?
"He stretches out the north over the void and hangs the earth on nothing." Job 26:7 
We now know this is true. However, the "fixed earth theory" was most notably argued by Ptolemy, and his geocentric model was used for astrological charts for 1500 years. There were also people that actually believed that the earth was on the backs of animals. Seriously.

How about the flat earth? The flat earth model is an archaic conception of the earth's shape as a plane or disk. Many ancient cultures subscribed to a flat earth cosmography, including Greece until the classical period 323 BC, the Bronze Age and Iron Age civilizations of the Near East until the Hellenistic period 31 BC, India until the Gupta period (early centuries AD), and China until the 17th century. Believe it or not, there are still some today that believe this to be true.

What does the Bible say? Isaiah 40:22
"It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to dwell in;"

Wait, it says "he who sits above the circle of the earth" The Circle. No question there.

"It was the Lord who put it into my mind,

(I could feel His hand upon me), the fact that it would be possible to sail from here to the Indies. All who heard of my project rejected it with laughter, ridiculing me. There is no question that the inspiration was from the Holy Spirit because He comforted me with rays of marvelous inspiration from the Holy Scriptures.......

I am a most noteworthy sinner, but I have cried out to the Lord for grace and mercy, and they have covered me completely. I have found the sweetest consolation since I made it my whole purpose to enjoy His marvelous Presence.

For the execution of the voyage to the Indies, I did not make use of intelligence, mathematics, or maps.

It is simply the fulfillment of what Isaiah* had prophesied......

No one should fear to undertake any task in the name of our Savior if it is just and if the intention is purely for His holy service. The working out of all things has been assigned to each person by our Lord, but it all happens according to His sovereign will, even though He gives advice. Oh, what a gracious Lord, who desires that people should perform for Him those things for which He holds Himself responsible! Day and night, moment by moment, everyone should express their most devoted gratitude to Him."

People thought he was crazy. Go too far, and you will fall off the earth. He knew better because the Bible told him so. Sadly, some still believe in the flat earth today.

These are just a few examples of how science did NOT prove the Bible false, but rather, sometimes after hundreds or thousands of years, catches up to the Bible, it proved the Bible true. Speaking of our Saviour? We will be talking about Jesus next time.

Book of Isaiah, Chapter 5

 Chapter 5



Let me sing for my beloved

    my love song concerning his vineyard:

My beloved had a vineyard

    on a very fertile hill.

2 He dug it and cleared it of stones,

    and planted it with choice vines;

he built a watchtower in the midst of it,

    and hewed out a wine vat in it;

and he looked for it to yield grapes,

    but it yielded wild grapes.


3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem

    and men of Judah,

judge between me and my vineyard.

4 What more was there to do for my vineyard,

    that I have not done in it?

When I looked for it to yield grapes,

    why did it yield wild grapes?


5 And now I will tell you

    what I will do to my vineyard.

I will remove its hedge,

    and it shall be devoured;

I will break down its wall,

    and it shall be trampled down.

6 I will make it a waste;

    it shall not be pruned or hoed,

    and briers and thorns shall grow up;

I will also command the clouds

    that they rain no rain upon it.


7 For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts

    is the house of Israel,

and the men of Judah

    are his pleasant planting;

and he looked for justice,

    but behold, bloodshed;

    who add field to field,

until there is no more room,

10 For ten acres[d] of vineyard shall yield but one bath,

    and a homer of seed shall yield but an ephah.”


11 Woe to those who rise early in the morning,

    that they may run after strong drink,

who tarry late into the evening

    as wine inflames them!

12 They have lyre and harp,

    tambourine and flute and wine at their feasts,

but they do not regard the deeds of the Lord,

    or see the work of his hands.


13 Therefore my people go into exile

    for lack of knowledge;

their honored men go hungry,

    and their multitude is parched with thirst.

14 Therefore Sheol has enlarged its appetite

    and opened its mouth beyond measure,

and the nobility of Jerusalem and her multitude will go down,

    her revelers and he who exults in her.

15 Man is humbled, and each one is brought low,

    and the eyes of the haughty are brought low.

16 But the Lord of hosts is exalted in justice,

    and the Holy God shows himself holy in righteousness.

17 Then shall the lambs graze as in their pasture,

    and nomads shall eat among the ruins of the rich.


18 Woe to those who draw iniquity with cords of falsehood,

    who draw sin as with cart ropes,

19 who say: “Let him be quick,

    let him speed his work

    that we may see it;

let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near,

    and let it come, that we may know it!”

20 Woe to those who call evil good

    and good evil,

who put darkness for light

    and light for darkness,

who put bitter for sweet

    and sweet for bitter!

21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,

    and shrewd in their own sight!

22 Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine,

    and valiant men in mixing strong drink,

23 who acquit the guilty for a bribe,

    and deprive the innocent of his right!


24 Therefore, as the tongue of fire devours the stubble,

    and as dry grass sinks down in the flame,

so their root will be as rottenness,

    and their blossom go up like dust;

for they have rejected the law of the Lord of hosts,

    and have despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

25 Therefore the anger of the Lord was kindled against his people,

    and he stretched out his hand against them and struck them,

    and the mountains quaked;

and their corpses were as refuse

    in the midst of the streets.

For all this his anger has not turned away,

    and his hand is stretched out still.


26 He will raise a signal for nations far away,

    and whistle for them from the ends of the earth;

and behold, quickly, speedily they come!

27 None is weary, none stumbles,

    none slumbers or sleeps,

not a waistband is loose,

    not a sandal strap broken;

28 their arrows are sharp,

    all their bows bent,

their horses' hoofs seem like flint,

    and their wheels like the whirlwind.

29 Their roaring is like a lion,

    like young lions they roar;

they growl and seize their prey;

    they carry it off, and none can rescue.

30 They will growl over it on that day,

    like the growling of the sea.

And if one looks to the land,

    behold, darkness and distress;

and the light is darkened by its clouds.

Why the Bible is Truth, General Prophesies Fulfilled

 Predictions in the Bible.


As we begin the new year, new year resolutions abound. Most will not be followed. Some may. One of the things I highly recommend is making an effort of reading God's Word on a daily basis. This is critical for any child of God. You must lay for yourself a solid foundation. The only way to do this is to pray and spend time in God's Word.

When Jesus was talking about the different people that hear the Word, and how they respond to it, He referred to four different types of people. Those along the path. The rocky soil. The thorn wrenched. Then finally the good soil. Matthew 13. The only way you get to go from the wayside to good soil is to read God's Word.

See first, those by the,,, well, why not let Jesus explain it. Turn to Matthew 13, start at verse 18
"Hear then the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path. As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, yet he has no root in himself but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away. As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty."
This is why it is so important to study God's Word daily. Everything you need to ever know is right here {Holding up the Bible.} Now you are going to come across some who feel the Bible is nothing more than just another "religious book" and means little to nothing. Some will tell you that the Bible is full of contradictions and false information. Not true. There is not one single contradiction in the Bible. No not one. There are misunderstandings, differing points of view, and poor translations, but zero contradictions. Then you are going to have those who honestly ask, why should we believe the Bible? Why should we put the Bible over every other religious book? How do we know for a fact, that the Bible is true? This is what we will be addressing for the next few weeks.

One of the easiest ways to disprove the Bible is also one of the easiest ways to prove the Bible is Truth. You see. there are 1,239 prophecies in the Old Testament and 578 prophecies in the New Testament for a total of 1,817. This is according to “The Encyclopedia of Biblical Prophecy” by J. Barton Payne.

Well? OK. If the Bible makes all these predictions, and they are proven false, then the Bible is indeed false. However, if the Bible makes all these predictions, some 26 percent of the total Bible is made up of prophecies, then predictions proven correct makes the bible true. We are going to look at four main topics. General, Scientific, Jesus Himself as the Messiah that was to come and then did, the present and future still to come. Let's get started with some general.

Babylon Will Rule Over Judah for 70 Years
"This whole land shall become a ruin and a waste, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. Then after seventy years are completed, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, declares the Lord, making the land an everlasting waste." Jeremiah 25:11-12
Jeremiah said that the Jews would suffer 70 years of Babylonian domination and that after this was over, Babylon would be punished. Both parts of this prophecy were fulfilled. In 609 BC, Babylon captured the last Assyrian king and took over the holdings of the Assyrian empire, which included the land of Israel. Babylon then began to take many Jews as captives to Babylon and destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple. This domination of the Jews ended in 539 BC, when Cyrus, a leader of Persians and Medes, conquered Babylon, bringing an end to the empire. This was predicted in Isaiah 45:1
"Thus says the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him and to lose the belts of kings, to open doors before him that gates may not be closed:"
Jeremiah 49:15-20; Ezekiel 25:12-14
both tell of how the luscious and beautiful land of Edom, today a part of Jordan, would become a desert and wasteland. Their description accurately tells the history of that now bleak region.
"For behold, I will make you small among the nations, despised among mankind. The horror you inspire has deceived you, and the pride of your heart, you who live in the clefts of the rock, who hold the height of the hill. Though you make your nest as high as the eagle's, I will bring you down from there, declares the Lord.

Edom shall become a horror. Everyone who passes by it will be horrified and will hiss because of all its disasters. As when Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring cities were overthrown, says the Lord, no man shall dwell there, no man shall sojourn in her. Behold, like a lion coming up from the jungle of the Jordan against a perennial pasture, I will suddenly make him run away from her. And I will appoint over her whomever I choose. For who is like me? Who will summon me? What shepherd can stand before me? Therefore hear the plan that the Lord has made against Edom and the purposes that he has formed against the inhabitants of Teman: Even the little ones of the flock shall be dragged away. Surely their fold shall be appalled at their fate." Jeremiah 49:15-20
Ezekiel 25:12-14

"Thus says the Lord God: Because Edom acted revengefully against the house of Judah and has grievously offended in taking vengeance on them, therefore thus says the Lord God, I will stretch out my hand against Edom and cut off from it man and beast. And I will make it desolate; from Teman even to Dedan they shall fall by the sword. And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, declares the Lord God."
Isreal itself is a prophesy fulfilled. Isreal? As we know it today? The exact location and construction sequence of Jerusalem's nine suburbs was predicted by Jeremiah about 2600 years ago.
"Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when the city shall be rebuilt for the Lord from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate. And the measuring line shall go out farther, straight to the hill Gareb, and shall then turn to Goah. The whole valley of the dead bodies and the ashes, and all the fields as far as the brook Kidron, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, shall be sacred to the Lord. It shall not be plucked up or overthrown anymore forever.” Jeremiah 31:38-40
Ezekiel 37:21-22
declares this
"then say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and bring them to their own land. And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. And one king shall be king over them all, and they shall be no longer two nations, and no longer divided into two kingdoms."
Isaiah 66:7-8
describes this taking place in one day.
"Before she was in labor she gave birth; before her pain came upon her she delivered a son. Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor she brought forth her children."
This rebirth became history in 1948, in one day, and the construction of the nine suburbs has gone forward precisely in the locations and in the sequence predicted.

These are some general prophecies and or predictions that have become proven true, in some cases, hundreds of years after they were made. As we talked about in the beginning, there are 1,239 prophecies in the Old Testament and 578 prophecies in the New Testament for a total of 1,817. This makes up over 26 percent of the whole Bible. When fully examined, we find that the Bible is correct, 100 percent of the time. We just scratched the surface today.

Next time we come together we will be discussing another one of my favorite things, science. Is science and the Bible incompatible? Moreover, are they opposed? Can you believe both? Short answer? Yes. Sadly, it just takes science hundreds to thousands of years to catch up to the Bible. Guess what, when it does? Science proves the Bible right.

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray.

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I believed He raised from the dead. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, You shall be saved." Romans 10:9. You need to find a Church that God leads you to and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A New Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him."Colossians 3:10

Book of Isaiah, Chapter 4

 Chapter 4


 And seven women shall take hold of one man in that day, saying, “We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; take away our reproach.”

2 In that day the branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be the pride and honor of the survivors of Israel. 3 And he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy, everyone who has been recorded for life in Jerusalem, 4 when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and cleansed the bloodstains of Jerusalem from its midst by a spirit of judgment and by a spirit of burning. 5 Then the Lord will create over the whole site of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, and smoke and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory there will be a canopy. 6 There will be a booth for shade by day from the heat, and for a refuge and a shelter from the storm and rain.
