Psalm 88

1 O lord God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee:

2 Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry;

3 For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.

4 I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength:

5 Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.

6 Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps.

7 Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted me with all thy waves. Selah.

8 Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.

9 Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: Lord, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.

10 Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah.

11 Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction?

12 Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?

13 But unto thee have I cried, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.

14 Lord, why castest thou off my soul? why hidest thou thy face from me?

15 I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted.

16 Thy fierce wrath goeth over me; thy terrors have cut me off.

17 They came round about me daily like water; they compassed me about together.

18 Lover and friend hast thou put far from me, and mine acquaintance into darkness.

Desiring to be God, Lucifer

Pride, the Oldest Sin.

"I am the Smartest. I am the ablest. I am the only one that can, and will, control my life. There is no one more important than me. Why do I need to listen to anyone else? What do they have to offer me? I do not care what someone in your Church says. I do not care what some old book that was written thousands of years ago says. Nor do I care what your invisible man in the sky, so-called God, says. I do not have time for that nonsense."

Have you heard any of these? Worst yet, have you said any of these? What is this all about? Where does this come from? Kids ratting out other Kids to get to be the Teacher's Pet? The Head of the Class? What about those people in the Work Place? You know, those people that will kiss the Boss's, uh, Ring, rat others out, and screw over other Employees, just to get a Promotion? What about some Criminals? Serial Killers? Rapists? Organized Crime? Even to some in the Church? Where does this come from? What do they all have in common?

"Wait. Are you really comparing Boss Kissers to Serial Killers? Kids trying to be the Teacher's Pet to Rapists?"

Actually? Yes. What do they all have in common? The Desire to Lord over others. The Desire to have ultimate Power and Control over their environment and others in it. All in their own way, the Desire to be God.

This is the oldest desire and the oldest Sin there is. This is the Sin that brought down Lucifer. The Son of the Morning. The Morning Star. The first and most favorite Angel.

"“How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit." {Isaiah 14:12-15}

What was Lucifer's Sin?

'I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God. I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’

He desired to be God. He wanted nothing to do with having to listen to anyone else. Having anyone else over him. He desired to be the Smartest, Most Powerful, and Worshiped, god, that ever was. He wanted to Rule over all of God's Creation.

But he is not God. He is nothing more than another Created Being. Just like the Heavens and the Earth. Just like the Birds and the Trees. Just like You and Me. You have God. Then you have everything else. There is only one God. One Creator. EVERYTHING else is nothing more than His Creation. Let's turn to Ezekiel 28:13-19

"Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise, they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more."

However, this did not stop Lucifer from trying to overthrow God. It didn't work. Jesus told us this in Luke 10:18

"And he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven."

So let's look at what Lucifer, now known as Satan, actually desired and actually said in his heart. He said, "I will." The first "I will" is this.

"I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God."

I will BE God.

"I will set my throne on high"

I will Possess God's Glory.

"I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north"

I will have all worship and serve me.

"I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;"

I will exercise Authority.

"I will make myself like the Most High."

I will occupy Heaven.

Lucifer wanted to penetrate the kingdom of the infinite God. He wanted his own Throne from which he could exercise final authority and make all decisions and rule over all the Angels. He desired to sit or be Enthroned in the Highest Place, with all submissive to him. He desired to be the center of attention and to be Idolized. Lucifer coveted God’s glory for his own. He wanted to be EQUAL with God and to take God’s place as Possessor and Ruler of all. He wanted to be responsible to no one.

He failed. He was cast out. Then God Created Man and gave Man domination over all God's Creation. We see this in Genesis 1:26-28

"Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”"

Obviously, this did not sit well with Lucifer, now Satan. So he had to attempt to steal this Creation, AKA the World, away from Man. This is what we will discuss next time. This is how he gained control over this World. How he became “god of this World or Age” (2 Corinthians 4:4), “Prince of this World” (John 12:31).

Yet even this was not enough. Which is why we see him tempt Jesus. Knowing that Jesus, was God in the Flesh, a weaker version of God if you will, but yet still having all Authority over, not only this World but all of Creation. Matthew 4:8-9

"Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.”

ALL the Kingdoms of the World. You see, Satan could tempt Jesus with this because they belong to Satan already. He was saying, you know what is coming. These people you are here to Save will turn on you. They will Abuse and Kill you in a horrible way. Forget God. Kneel before me, and I will make you god of this world. You can Rule over them however you see fit. You do not have to die at their hands. You can live a long life in total and complete control over these Talking Monkeys as long as you bow before me, giving me total Authority over everything. Although it worked with Man, thankfully, this did not work with Jesus. Jesus is still in complete control.

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? Have you been to THE Tree? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray.

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be.

4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.

5 And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.

6 The Lord shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.

7 As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.

What Is Progressive Christianity? Social Justice

Religion as a Tool

The Eight Points of Progressive Christianity.

1. Believe that following the path and teachings of Jesus can lead to an awareness and experience of the Sacred and the Oneness and Unity of all life;

2. Affirm that the teachings of Jesus provide but one of many ways to experience the Sacredness and Oneness of life and that we can draw from diverse sources of wisdom in our spiritual journey;

3. Seek community that is inclusive of ALL people, including but not limited to Conventional Christians and questioning skeptics, Believers and Agnostics, Women and men, those of all sexual orientations and gender identities, those of all classes and abilities;

4. Know that the way we behave towards one another is the fullest expression of what we believe;

5. Find grace in the search for understanding and believe there is more value in questioning than in absolutes;

6. Strive for peace and justice among all people;

7. Strive to protect and restore the integrity of our Earth;

8. Commit to a path of life-long learning, compassion, and selfless love.

Sounds pretty good. Does it not? Sounds like you will FEEL good if you follow these Eight Points? Does it not? "The Oneness and Unity of all life?" "Seek community that is inclusive of ALL people?"

"There is more value in questioning than in absolutes?" "Peace and justice among all people?" What about this one? "Commit to a path of life-long learning, compassion, and selfless love." What is possibly wrong with that? What is possibly wrong with Saving the Planet from the evils of all Humans?

You see, these sound great. As long as you do not really think about what they are actually saying and how they actually are going about their agenda. They are diminishing the REAL Word of God. They are reinterpreting and twisting Scripture to include, or claim, it agrees with their agendas. They have and continue to redefine historical terms and meanings. They teach FEELINGS over Facts. In some cases leaving FACTS out altogether.

They use things like Jesus loved all. {Yes. He came and died for all while we were yet Sinners}

"But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." {Romans 5:8}

He ate with Sinners.{Yup. His answer why was?}

"Those who are well, have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners." {Mark 2:17}

He accepted all for who they were. {Not true at all.} He accepted all for who they are meaning they did not have to do anything except believe in Him and accept His plan of Salvation. You cannot earn your way into Heaven by doing good Works. It is through Him, and ONLY through Him, that you are Saved.

However, you cannot STAY the way you are and go to Heaven. Sorry.

"But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among Saints. Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God." {Ephesians 5:3-5}

Then you have this.

"Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." {Galatians 5:19-21}

Ask yourself this. IF you are a Sinner, and Jesus came to Save you, what exactly did He come here to Save you from? If you are living in Sin and Jesus comes and says" Hey, Sin on." What would be the point? Why would He bother? There would be no need.

Does God love us? Of course. This is why He has delayed His return.

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.." {2 Peter 3:9}

Repentance? What does it mean to repent? "To turn from Sin and dedicate oneself to the amendment of one's Life." Turn from Sin. Stop Sinning. To CHANGE how you are living and to seek God's perfect WIll for your Life. Not, Sin on. Not live as you will regardless of how God feels, or what God says about it. You ALLOW the Spirit of Adoption into your life to change you, and mold you, and make you, into a new Creature the way God wants you to be.

Man can, and does say, "It is 2018. Come on. We have evolved as a Race of People. We need to change with the times. We need to accept Homosexuality, Abortion, other Gods. We must not judge if someone wants to Merry themselves, have at it. Who cares. If your 'Religion' does not change with the times, then we will change your Religion." Hense the whole problem.

"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen." {Roamans 1:22-25}

They have also included another "Religion." That is the Religion of Global Warming,, uh, sorry, Climate Change.

They started with a three-step method.

Convince you that you matter.

That you are helping to save the planet. They tell you, you are NOT just jumping on the bandwagon because everyone else is, but that you should, because, well, everyone else is.

They tell you that you are a good person for doing it, and they tell you that if you do not, you are a bad person.

They then turn to scare tactics. They use the Kids. They tell you, in essence, you are killing your Grandkids and their Children, if you do not buy into this BS {Bad Science,} now. They have actually turned it into a Religion.

Religion {Just pick one} has a God. Christianity has Heaven and Hell. To get to Heaven, you have to accept the Savior. Follow what he says. Do His will. Give of yourself. If you sin and do not become repentant, you go to Hell.

GW, or Climate Change, has Mother Earth. CC has a savior. Al Gore. You must do what he says, follow his commandments. If you do, you will go to heaven. A clean, and healthy Earth. One that will grant you long life and life for your Children. You have to give of yourself, your money. You have to buy Carbon Offsets from the companies that are being set up. Like the one Al Gore owns. The one he buys {Cough} from. Then you can be absolved of your Sins. But if you Sin, say fail to change your light bulbs, then you are evil. You will go to hell. A dead earth that will destroy you and generations to come.

Both are absolutes. There is no questioning. No debating. Both are facts that the followers will fight to their dying breath to convert you. Neither will be swayed from their convictions. To true believers, it is insane that you do not see the "reality" of the situation.

Al Gore, the CC Messiah said this. "It's in part a spiritual crisis. It's a crisis of our own self-definition, who we are. Are we creatures destined to destroy our own species? Clearly not."

It stopped Warming. So they changed the name to Climate Change. Why is this a big deal? Because it is simply a disguise to control peoples everyday life. "What do you mean I can not own this big house, or drive this car, or BBQ in my backyard? What do you mean I have to give my money over to this or that company or even the Government?" What do you mean I can only own this much land?" ETC. But not enough people were buying into the Bad Science. So some included it into "Christianity" itself. "Strive to protect and restore the integrity of our Earth;"

Then you have this. We will wrap up with this. Number eight? "Commit to a path of life-long learning, compassion, and selfless love." In other words, "Be a good little Citizen of the World, know your role, and sit down and shut up and allow 'us' to run everything. We know more than you and we will do what is best for you. Just do your part and FEEL good about it."

Please be careful. Many Religions, including some denominations of "Christianity," teach more about "feelings" than they do teach about FACTS. They care more about how you feel, then they care about the Truth. Simply put.

"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed." {Galatians 1:8}

Simply put, if the Word says something is Sin, it IS Sin. If the Word says something is Good and True, it is Good and True. It does not matter what man says. It does not matter what evolved humans think should change. It does not matter what entire Religions says. The only thing that matters is the Gospel of Jesus the Christ and God's Word.

Do not be fooled. Do not be tricked into feeling it is ok to do things contrary to what the Bible says. Do not be tricked into feeling Holy, rather than BEING Holy. Feeling Righteous, rather than BEING Righteous. Be the Child of God GOD says you are. Not the way Man says you should act as a Child of God.

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray.

Psalm 86

1 Bow down thine ear, O Lord, hear me: for I am poor and needy.

2 Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.

3 Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.

4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

6 Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

8 Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

9 All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

10 For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.

11 Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

14 O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.

15 But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

16 O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.

17 Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, Lord, hast holpen me, and comforted me.

What Is Progressive Christianity? Feelings

If it Feels good, do it. 

You've heard that, right? "If it FEELS good, do it?" How about this one? "I just do not FEEL like this is the way it should be." Or this one. "I FEEL that a Loving God,,,,," Maybe this one? "It just FEELS right."

However, here is the problem. It can FEEL good to do good, and it can also FEEL good to get drunk. It FEELS good to a Drug user to use Drugs. It FEELS good to feed the Hunger of a Serial Killer. It may FEEL good to harm others you do not agree with.

Humans operate on FEELINGS all the time. Neuroscientist Antonio Damasio tells us this.

"Feelings are the thoughts we have in our mind after emotions occur, a reaction to the signals sent by the body. The brain can also create a feeling without the emotional body sensation, for example when we feel joy as we watch someone else triumph. We use the feelings we have to gauge situations and make decisions about risk and reward. It is from our feelings that we make sense of the world."

Progressive Christianity operates nearly totally on feelings. One of the "Eight Points of Progressive Christianity" is this.

"Affirm that the teachings of Jesus provide but one of many ways to experience the Sacredness and Oneness of life, and that we can draw from diverse sources of wisdom in our spiritual journey"

OK first? Christianity? CHRIST! Hello? What does Christ mean? "The Anointed One." If you call yourself a Christian you are calling yourself "An Anointed one through the Anointing, of THE Anointed one Jesus." What other "Sources" are going to complete this?

Two, and more important than just the name, Jesus tells us this. Say it with me.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." {John 14:6}

THERE IS NO OTHER WAY!!! I know, I know. That "excludes" any "Religion?" that does not include Jesus being the Foundation. That excludes Muhammad. That excludes Buddha. That excludes Swami Vivekananda. Um. Yes.

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." {Acts 4:12}

Jesus told us that the entire Word testifies of Him. Jesus tells us. In John 3:18

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Right there, in the "Second Point," Progressive Christianity nullifies itself and makes it just another false Religion. But it FEELS right. A loving God is not going to exclude people that love Him and serve Him their whole lives just because they do not believe in Jesus. There are many paths to God and Heaven.

No there is only one. One and one alone. However, it is not exclusive. It is all INCLUSIVE. It does not matter who you are. It does not matter if you were a Muslim, Jew, Athiest, a Saint on Earth, and or a Murderer, you are called by God to be adopted into the Family of God through Jesus Christ. There is nothing more you need to do than accept Jesus.

Oh, and by the way, there is no Hell. Here is one quote from a Progressive Christianity Leader.

"hell isn’t even part of the Bible and shouldn’t be a part of Christianity. To be blunt about it, let me repeat, Hell isn’t Christian – or Jewish. It’s pagan."

Why no Hell? No Hell, no Devil. No Devil no Sin. No real reason for a Savior. Savior from what? Live however you want and allow all to do the same. Do as you will, as long as it "FEELS Good" and uh, yeah, don't hurt anyone.

Obviously, this is incorrect. Jesus may not have spoken more on Hell than Heaven, but He DID speak more on Hell than anyone else in the Bible. However, a Loving God does not WANT to, nor does He ever, send any HUMAN there. He wants ALL to come to repentance and be Saved.

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." {2 Peter 3:9}

Again, if we are all God's Children {We are not} then why would ANY Perish? We would all simply live on in peace and harmony. This is not Biblical. Not at all. It actually does away with Sin altogether from Adam on. What would the point be then?

But then you have this,, Point Three

"Seek community that is inclusive of ALL people, including but not limited to Conventional Christians and questioning skeptics, Believers and agnostics, Women and men, Those of all sexual orientations and gender identities, Those of all classes and abilities;"

Set aside the fact this is purposeful for a bigger picture. More on this next time as we discuss the way Progressive Christianity is used as a tool for Social Engineering "Social Justice." This also goes completely contrary to the Bible. God created Man and Woman. God does not make mistakes. If you are a Male, you are a Male. If you are a Female, you are a Female. Anything else is confusion and God is not the Auther of Confusion.

Homosexuality is NOT OK. Sry? No, not really. It is Bible. It is God. It also brings us to this point in Romans 1. That this is simply a sign of the times.

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Forget some abstract concept of looking at Creation and attributing it to God, Progressive Christianity uses the Bible. They purposefully twist and change the Word of God itself to fit their agenda. They say it is OK to be in a Gay Relationship.

"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

Pretty clear? I asked how this is taught in Progressive Christianity and I was informed that this is talking about "Homosexual Prostitution." Not long lasting loving relationships. When I asked if that means "the natural use" of the Woman is to be a Prostitute? I was meant with anger and a storm off.

This is why I believe there is a Point Five in Progressive Christianity

"Find grace in the search for understanding and believe there is more value in questioning than in absolutes"

This is how we get things like this.

God says; Have no other god before God. Religion says; Any god will do. All are equal. God says; Do not commit Idolatry. Religion says; Statues of Saints, Mary, and Jesus, can and have worked Miracles. God says; Do not take the Name of God in Vain. Religion says; It is only belief and Language. No big deal. God says; Remember the Sabbath. Religion says; Who cares? We live in a 24-7 Society we want everything NOW or yesterday. God says; Honor your Father and Mother. Religion says; Nursing homes and Retirement Centers. God says; Do not commit Murder. Religion says; Abortion legal and OK. God says; Do not commit Adultery. Religion says; Divorce is OK and no big deal. God says; Do not Steal. Religion says; Depends on reason. Maybe justified. God says; Do Not Bear False Witness. Religion LIES all the time. Twisting God's Word to fit agendas. God says; Do not Covet. Religion twists this all the time to use it to get more money from their followers and to keep their followers in need.

There are absolutes. Sin is Sin. Regardless of what you FEEL about it. Truth is Truth. Regardless of what you FEEL about it. You cannot FEEL Sin into Good, or shame Good into Sin. No matter how hard you may try. If what you are being told, is opposite to what the Word actually says, it is a lie. No matter how it may make you feel.

"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed." {Galatians 1:8}

It simply is what it is. God is what He is. His Word is what it is. Sin is Sin and Good is Good. There is only one way to Heaven and His name is Jesus. Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray.

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}

Psalm 85

1 Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.

4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

7 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.

8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

What Is Progressive Christianity? Interpretation

 False and Twisted Interpretation 

Ever been told something that you have believed for years to mean one thing actually means something totally different? Things like this in Genesis 1:27

"So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."

So you see? It says God created Man and Woman. And in Psalm 139:15-17

"My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!"

God made me the way I am. He made everyone the way they are. We are all simply born this way. God loves all of us. After all, we will all inherit the kingdom. We are all God's Children and according to Romans 8:17

"And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together."

So who are you to judge? Does your Jesus Himself not say this in Matthew 7:1-3

"Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"

We all have our own things to deal with. Live and let live. God loves everyone and you need to simply stop with the whole Hell and Devil thing. One, they do not exist. A loving God would never create anything like that and would never send someone He loves to be tormented forever. Two, God forgives everyone. So just shut up and sit down. Just because someone believes differently than you doesn't mean they are wrong. So they believe in Mohammad? Or they believe in Buddha? Or maybe they believe God is an energy that we are all part of and we become God when we pass on. Who cares? God will accept us all in the end.

Do you see how easy it is? I just convinced some that there is no need for Jesus, using the Word, and even Jesus Himself. I purposely twisted the meanings of the passages just enough to fit my agenda. This is why it can be so easy, and yet, so hard for some to understand that this is what is happening. They actually WANT to believe it. Why?

Friends and loved ones that have never, and never would, accept Jesus. Oh, Grandma was a Saint on Earth. Grandpa was a great person. But they never had time for all that "Jesus nonsense." They are dead. Are you telling me they are in Hell?

My friend, best friend, Johnny is a Muslim. He will never accept Jesus. You are telling me that he is condemned to go to Hell? He runs a non-profit. He helps people. He would give the shirt off his back and you are telling me that just because he does not believe in Jesus, he is condemned?

The short answer is YES. Sorry. This is the difference between Christianity and any other Religion. Jesus IS God. There is no other way to get to God except for God Himself. The Bible is the Word of God, and the very Word of God is Jesus. He is the Gate to Heaven. He is the Door. He is the Key. He is Heaven itself. Without Jesus, you get nothing. You have nothing. Are these true?

Genesis 1:27? Yes. God created all things and this includes every Man and Woman.

Psalm 139:15-17? Yes. You are Blonde with Blue Eyes, Brown with Brown, 6' tall 5', Birthmark here or there, and freckles or not, White, Brown, Black, or any other tone of Skin, because God Made you that way. He has a plan and a purpose just for you. However, God does not make mistakes. You are Male because God made you Male. You are Female because God made you that way. Sorry, just the truth. Anything else is learned behavior that is NOT of God.

Romans 8:17? Yes. However, not for everyone. Here are the Five Steps of a Saved Life.

"For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified." {Romans 8:29-30}

1-God foreknows you from the beginning of time. {Everyone}

2-God fashions you after His Will and sets up a Plan and Purpose for your Life. {Everyone}

3-God calls you. He calls you to accept Him and His Plans for you. {Everyone}

This is where it stops for those that simply say no. Those who do not have time for all that "Jesus non-sense." Or those that simply reject the Truth that there is no other way. Oh, Lightning is not going to come down and strike you dead where you stand. Or Hell is going to open up and devour you that moment because you decided not to accept Jesus. Truth is, you may live a long and happy Life here on Earth. But what then?

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." {John 3:16-18}

You are right, a loving God does not want to send someone He loves to Hell. In 2 Peter 3:9

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

God does not want ANY to Perish. None. But He gives us Free Will. We get to decide "Yes" or "No." Heaven or Hell? God or ourselves. If, and only IF, we say YES to God and His Plans for us, then and only THEN, will we receive the Spirit of Adoption.

"For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:" {Romans 8:15-16}

Then and only THEN can Steps 4 - 5 happen.

4-God prepares us. Teaches us. Grows us into the people He wants us to be. A time of Preparation and getting to know God Himself. This time is crucial to EVERY Child of God. Then and only then will we be able to accomplish what God has for us to do and receive that of which God has for us.

Jesus told us this in John 14:21

"Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him."

Then and only then will Step 5 take place.

5-God Glorifies us.

He Glorifies us both in this time, and in the after. Jesus said John 10:10

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."

Jesus also tells us this in John 14:2

"There is more than enough room in my Father's home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?"

There is nothing that can possibly compare to a Life Adopted into the Family of God. When the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the Great "I am", the Lord of Lord and the King of Kings becomes your Abba Father. Your Daddy.

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." {Romans 8:35-38}

Be careful. If you ever hear something, even if it comes from me, that you do not understand or agree with, then please, pretty please, look it up for yourself. Pray about it. Look to the Word. See if what someone is telling you is ACTUALLY saying what they claim it is saying.

This is why it is so very important to Read the Word on your own. To lay for yourself a solid foundation in the Word. Why you need to have a one on one relationship with God Himself. With that Relationship with God, comes God Himself moving into YOU.

"I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you" {John 14:18-20}

Then and only then will you be able to detect a lie when you hear it. The Word of God is THE Word of God. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. It does not change with the times. It does not evolve. It does not change to include things because Society now says it is OK. It is all that matters. Twisting and Misinterpreting it for evil has been going on since the Devil tried to tempt Jesus {Matthew 4} Do not be misled.

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray.
