Sometimes God Says NO

He always answers

We have read it. We have claimed it. We want to believe it. God answers ALL Prayer. We love Passages like these...

{Matthew 7:7}

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you"

We love this one as well..

{Mark 11:24}

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

What about this one???

{John 15:7}

"If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."

So we go before God, believing in, and claiming these passages. We say Prayers like this...

Lord, I want that new Red Sports Car. Or, better yet, just let me hit the Lotto and then I can buy it myself. Then I promise I will do some good with the money too. What? Hey your Word says "whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be mine." So come on God,, "ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for me" SO?????? Where is my big pile of money????

We will leave aside the whole concept of Prayer for a few minutes. Study the "Our Father" Prayer if you want to see an effective and Righteous formula for Prayer. You can find it Here in the archives. Let's just focus on God's answer here. Make no mistake, He DOES answer every Prayer His Children Pray..

The problem is not, He doesn't answer. The problem is how do we receive it. Do we like it? Is it what we expected? Is it want we wanted? Or, do we miss it? Yes, sometimes, the answer is even, "No." You see, He does answer. Always. But what that answer is, is not always what we think it should be..

Brother Bob's Vehicle breaks down. He cannot afford to keep fixing it. But he needs a Vehicle to continue to go to work. So he Prays to God.. "God!! You know I have need of a Car. This one is no good. Please Lord. Your Word declares that "whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be mine." Your Word declares that "My needs will be met." That "You know what I have need of before I even do." So GOD!! I need a new Car."

Now in his mind, Bob is going through all those new models out there, The Sion TC, the Honda Accord. The Mustang, hey, He is God, All things are possible in him. Right? How about a new Chevrolet Corvette? He get's excited because he really has ZERO doubt in his heart that God will hear his Prayer and will give him a new Car.

So he goes to Church and talks with the Pastor. The Pastor announces Bob's need to the Congregation right before Prayer. At the end of Service, Old Farmer Joe comes to Bob and says "I have a Car for ya. Not all that pretty anymore, but she runs like a top, and she has never let me down." So Bob agrees and goes to Joe's Farm.

They go to a Barn in the back and Joe opens the door and pulls off the cover exposing a 1968 Chevy Cadillac. Dull. A few dents. A little spot of rust here and there. Bob looks at it and thinks to himself, "what a piece of junk. Not to mention the thing is a boat. I don't want this. Where is my Mustang, or Corvette? I need a Car God, Not a Boat." God answered His Prayer. He just didn't like the answer.

What about Steve? Steve has a Job that doesn't really give him enough money to pay his bills. So he Prays "God, I need a Raise. I need a Promotion. You know I have need of more money. You know I'm trying to Tithe. You know I'm "Seeking first the Kingdom of God.." So add all these things onto me? I'm the hardest worker there. I deserve the Promotion to the Management Position that just came open.. GOD!!! Help me.."

Steve goes to work and finds a Pink Slip. He was laid off. He becomes angry with God and angry with the whole concept of Prayer. He yells to God, "GOD!! This is how you take care of your Children???? The Job I had was not paying all the Bills. But it was something. Now I got NOTHING. What is wrong with you God? I needed that Promotion, not to get Fired! You have made things even worse!!" God waits for him to get done. Then He asks Steve a simple question. "How do you get a better Job, until; you lose the one you have?"

You see, God is in the Past. He is in the Present. He is in the Future. God is everywhere, in every time. God is omnipotent. He created time and space, therefore He moves freely through it. He knows what lay ahead because he is already there. We are not. We are fleeting. The Word declares Human Life is but a Vapor. Here one moment and gone the next. {James 4:14} We do not see what is before us. We do not know what awaits us. We do not know what we will ACTUALLY do. But God does.

You do not know that if you hit the Lotto, you will be good for a year or so. You will buy a new house, car, take care of your family. You will give some to Charity. Your Pastor will be surprised at the Tithe you pay that week. But then you get bored. You turn to dangerous living. You turn to drugs and alcohol. You are surrounded by people that want to make you happy. People that want your money. You cheat on your spouse. ETC. So God says "No."

You do not know that if you get that new shinny red Sports Car, you will be loving it for a month or so. But then your foot will get a little heavy. Hey, what's the point in having a car that can do 210, if you do not do, well, 210? You do not know that you will be speeding down the road and crash into a Minivan with a Family coming home from Dinner and a Movie and kill three of the four people in the Minivan. He says "No."

Then you have the other side of the same coin. What happens IF we do not get exactly what we want? In the Bible, In Romans, Paul had a GREAT DESIRE to visit Rome. But God said "No." God had prevented him from getting there up to a certian point. The combination of these two factors, Paul's impassioned desire to go to Rome and God's sovereign "No," resulted in his sitting down to write the letter to the Romans. what is today called the "Magna Carta" of the Christian faith.

Are you following? You see, I do not have to guess at the ending of a Movie, or I will not be surprised at the Plot twists, if I saw the Movie. If you have not, I could tell you all there is to know about it before you see it, because I already have. God has already seen the Movie that is YOU. He knows what is going to happen. We do not...

{Psalm 39:4-7}

" Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am.

Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.

Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them. And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee."

You see, perhaps there are some "No's" in our lives that God is planning to use greatly, if we would just faithfully do what lies directly in front of us, instead of worrying about why we didn't get exactly what we wanted.

Yes, God answers all Prayers. Sometimes the answer is "No." Sometimes the answer is "No" for our own good. As we tell our kids, No, to touching the Hot Stove, or playing in Traffic, God tells us "No" to protect us from ourselves. Sometimes the answer is "No" for His own good, and to further His Will, Way, and Plan for our Lives. Sometimes God says "No" for His Kingdom sake, and even for others.

We do not know why God answers the way He does. We just have to trust in the fact He has already seen the Movie and knows all the Twists and Turns in our Lives. We must trust in Him to know better than us, for us. We must take comfort in the knowledge that we may not always get want we want, but we will ALWAYS get what we need.

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray..

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}

A Sabbath-Rest for the People of God

{Hebrews 4:1-13}

Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. 2 For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it with faith. 3 Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said,

"So I declared on oath in my anger, 'They shall never enter my rest.' "

And yet his work has been finished since the creation of the world. 4 For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: "And on the seventh day God rested from all his work." 5 And again in the passage above he says, "They shall never enter my rest."

6 It still remains that some will enter that rest, and those who formerly had the gospel preached to them did not go in, because of their disobedience. 7 Therefore God again set a certain day, calling it Today, when a long time later he spoke through David, as was said before:

"Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts."

8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience.

12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Living the Christian Life... because it matters!

The Israelites of Moses' and Joshua's day heard great messages from God, but they still did not respond in faith. Many people in our churches today reflect the same problem. They have heard many messages, they may have even read the Bible, but they have not responded in faith. People know a great deal about Christ, but they do not know him personally-they don't combine their hearing with faith. They are not real believers who take God at his word and obey him. Religion without obedience to God has no value. Hearing many sermons and not responding only makes us indifferent to the word of God. Believe in Christ and then act on what you know. Are you just hearing the word? Or are you hearing and obeying?

Devotion/Prayer

God's people missed rest in the Promised Land through their unbelief. This is a warning to us. God calls us to trust Him and to enter into the rest that He has enjoyed since the completion of creation. In Christ Jesus, we have rest from the accusation of the Law. The Holy Spirit leads us to trust in Christ, granting us everlasting peace. * Lord Jesus, You are my rest. May I always look to You when I am weary and afraid. Amen.

Humanizing God

Making God MAN

We have evolved. If you think that Man is the Head of the Household, and it is his job to take care of and provide for the Family, you are Chauvinistic, antiquated, simple minded, old fashioned, and you need to be attacked.

We have evolved. If you think that we should still be following the Ten Commandments as a Nation, you are antiquated, simple minded, old fashioned, and you need to be attacked. You most likely hate anyone that does not think like you, and you most likely discriminate against those you judge not worthy.

We have evolved. If you still think that Homosexuality is Sin, you are a Homophobic, hate filled, antiquated, simple minded, old fashioned, and you need to be attacked. Gays are God's Children too. It's 2015. If you are not compassionate and do not accept Homosexuality, you are the problem.

We have evolved. if you still think a Woman should not have the "Right" to decide what to do with "her body" and you think that having a Medical Procedure to end an unwanted Pregnancy is Murder, you are Chauvinistic, antiquated, simple minded, old fashioned, and you need to be attacked.

We have evolved. If you still think your's is the only way. That all other Religions out there are incorrect if they do not accept your view of Jesus, you are antiquated, simple minded, old fashioned, and you need to be attacked. Besides, the God I know, is a loving God and will accept anyone for any reason. If you say you have to have Faith in Jesus, and without that, you will not get to Heaven, you hate anyone else that does not think like you. Who are you to say you know better?

Well? So I'm a Chauvinistic, antiquated, simple minded, old fashioned, hateful, Homophobic, enemy of the people? And you? You who labels me, just because I do not believe as you do? Just because I believe in the Truth? What are you? I need to be attacked, but you get a pass? Sorry. I believe,,,,

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."

I also believe that,,,

{1 Corinthians 14:33}

"For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints."

Sorry, I believe Jesus is the ONLY one that totally fulfills the Prophecy of Isaiah 53. Sorry, I believe Matthew 7:21–27, John 1, John 3:16, John 6:63, John 14:6, I believe He is the gate of the sheep John 10:7; The bread of life John 6:35; and the resurrection John 11:25. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. Sorry. But I will not apologize for my belief that this is the absolute and final Truth according to God Himself.

The Word also declares this...

{Malachi 3:6}

"For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed."

So although we have evolved, although we have decided that what was Sin is now OK, although we think there is a difference in the Past and 2015, it does not mean God does. As we have discussed many times, Paul warned us about this, and here we are today..

{Romans 1:17-32}

"For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

This is America today. Truth is, this is the World since the fall of Man. America is just catching up. This is why things are what they are. We try to Humanize God. Even some of our Churches have decided that God would never condemn someone just because they are Gay, or have Abortions on demand, or even, if they do not believe in Jesus. That God is a God of Love and will accept all no matter what. They say that He would evolve with the times as well as we should. Paul warned us of this also..

{Colossians 2:8-10}

"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:"

You see folks, it really is this simple. God is NOT Human. He is God. Jesus, although He came to earth and walked in the Flesh among us, HE is not Human. They are Eternal and the Creator of all things. We cannot possibly understand God, Jesus, or the Scriptures WITHOUT the Holy Spirit. We cannot have the Holy Spirit without Jesus..

{Ephesians 3:16-2}

"That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."

God does not evolve. Jesus does not evolve. The Spirit does not evolve. What was Sin is Sin, and will kill you quicker than ever at that. We must stop attempting to Humanizing that of which is not Human. God is God. He is absolute and Jesus is now, was, and always will be, the only Way, Truth, and Life.

Let the World do as it will. It will. Let those without the Spirit tell you whatever they will. They will. But do not become like them. Do not fall for the deceit. No matter how it may be presented. Logically, Fearfully, or even wrapped in compassion. The Truth is the Truth, and God is God.

False Converts and Fashionable Christians

 False Converts and Fashionable Christians

If you are walking in willful disobedience to God's Word, if the consistent pattern of your life is the practice of sin and the deeds of the sinful nature that Paul describes in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21 and Ephesians 5:3-7, then you must question your salvation.

Any teaching that opens the door to false assurance and loose living is not from God.

A wave of watered-down and milquetoast "Churchianity" has flooded the church world. A nonconfrontational gospel has failed miserably to deal with sin and repentance. We have forgotten that the central message of the gospel is that Jesus came to save us from our sins (Matt. 1:21), not in our sins. He didn't just come to forgive us of our sins, but to free us from our sins. This is one of the most tragic fundamental errors we have made in our contemporary gospel, and it largely explains the degradation in our society today. A weak church has opened the way for the devil's onslaught.

Not only has our gospel been watered down, but the themes of holiness and sanctification in the church are hardly ever mentioned. As a matter of fact, there's been a diabolical silence on it as the "I'm OK, you're OK—once saved, always saved" mantra gains popularity. And all at the expense of the many urgent appeals of New Testament writers to warn the early saints of the dangers of deception (1 Cor. 6:9), falling back (2 Pet. 3:17), drifting (Heb. 2:1), stumbling (1 Pet. 1:10), changing the grace of God into a license for immorality (Jude 4), and giving heed to seducing doctrines of demons (1 Tim. 4:1).  The church world is fast adrift into an "easy believism" salvation void of His Lordship that Christ would not recognize today.

Men who profess Christ are not meeting God's own conditions for true conversion. "Christian" is almost a meaningless word to the masses today, because so many believe they are Christians, when in fact, they are not. And sadly, there are very few voices today strong enough to change that and stir the church and shake the world.

It has been estimated that over half a million were converted to God as a direct result of Charles G. Finney's ministry in the 1800s, and that by a conservative estimate over 80 percent remained true to Christ to the day of their death, without backsliding or falling by the wayside. Figures are nowhere near that today.

"Examine yourselves, seeing whether you are in the faith; test yourselves" (2 Cor. 13:5).

Only the dishonest fear the truth. If your faith is real, it will stand any thorough examination. If it is false, God knows it, and you shall know it too. Please do something about it before you go out into eternity.

Christian, God's question to you is not "What are you doing?" but "Why are you doing it?" It is possible to look exactly like a true Christian in every outward detail, but for a fundamentally different reason. Man looks on the outward appearance, but God looks on the heart. Other professing Christians judge you by the ways and means you live out your life, but God looks at the reason and purpose for which you are living (see Matt. 6). Almost any means of Christian service can be counterfeited by a deceived person, but unless there has been a change of heart, or ultimate purpose, nothing you do is really true.

So a person may believe that Christ came to save sinners, and on that ground may submit to be saved for his own safety, without submitting to His Lordship. His submission is only on the selfish condition that he will be happier. It is never with that unreserved trust in God's character and love for the complete will of God. And in large part, this is what we have come to today: Christianity is a religion of happiness and prosperity. But that is not the gospel, dear ones.

The false convert obeys God, not because he loves Him, but only because he hopes to get something good out of it for himself. The true child of God delights in doing God's will. When love for Christ and the gospel is central, there is no weariness or struggle in serving the Lord. It is your delight! His commandments are not grievous (1 John 5:3; Matt. 11:30; 23:4; Luke 11:46).

Do you enjoy Christianity or do you serve God  only for what He can do for you?

A true convert loves the Word of the Lord. He loves hard truth. He loves to hear about being holy, fearing the Lord, denying himself and taking up his cross and following Jesus. He is not the least bit offended by these themes.

The false convert never enjoys hearing these types of messages.

Christ's words commanding supreme love of His followers over all other earthly loves have no meaning to the false convert. They do not supremely love Him. They love themselves, and everything connected with their own happiness (Matt. 6:33, 22:36-40, 10:37-39; Luke 14:25-26).

We have a radically defective Christianity today. It is not an exaggeration nor unloving to say that these aforementioned descriptions of false conversion seem to fit a very large majority in the church.

Now, let me ask you another question. Is Christ the center of your life, or are you trying to fit Him in for your own happiness?

The problem has been that it has become quite fashionable today to take Jesus as your Savior, but not as your Lord as if He is somehow divided. However, if you do a study on the word "Lord," you will find it listed more than 400 times in the New Testament as opposed to Savior, which only appears 15 times. The New Testament calls Him our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His Lordship always has preeminence. To our own detriment, preachers today have subtly excused His Lordship by saying things such as, "Sinners just need to take Jesus as their Savior," as if His Lordship is optional or something you do later on when you become a stronger Christian.

The common thought has been that this nominal "Christian" may partly serve God while at the same time partly living in sin. His ticket to heaven is guaranteed; his discipleship is optional. It appears by this that a man can be saved, but not surrendered to Christ; following Him, but still serving himself.

Once again, friends, that is not the gospel! This line of thinking is at the root of all the church's problems today.

Maybe it is time to face the hard truth. The real answer is that the person who displays these characteristics is a false convert. Our churches our full of them.

They are "fashionable Christians!" Their style of religion is fashionable and popular and they generally follow the spirit of this age in their thinking, behavior, fashion, dress and custom. No matter what God requires, they are carefully determined not to offend His enemies. If they are ever faced with a choice between pleasing man or pleasing God, they will offend God. They will do more to gain the approval of men than the approval of God. This must change in the church today if we are to see nationwide revival.

Will you surrender now and trust in God's empowering grace to live no longer for yourself, but to live for God and His glory? Will you, preacher and pastor, begin to proclaim the real gospel and the real salvation?

False Accusations

Do not be surprised

They Lie. It really is just that simple. They accuse. They blame. They call you names. They HATE you. Who? Family members, Friends, or at least former Friends. People you love. They hate you. They think you have changed. They think, you think, you are better than they.

See, they know you. They were there when you where drinking. They were there when you where doing drugs, or watching those movies. They were there when you where doing things, talking things, living daily lives, just like they. But now? Now you don't. Now? Now not only do you not, you tell them that they should not.

They see you as a Narrow Minded, Hateful, Arrogant, Changed person. They no longer what you around. They no longer want to invite you to Family Gatherings, Friends Parties, or anything else. They do not want to hear all this "Jesus stuff." Why? Because they knew the old you. They do not like the new you.

Then, having to deal with all that, you also now have to deal with an entire World that HATES you. False accusations are a common way that the enemy tries to make Children of God look bad. They did it to Jesus Himself. Make no mistake, they will do it to you as well.

{John 15:18}

"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you."

Remember, Jesus went into great detail explaining this..

{John 15:19-25}

"If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause."

So it is a forgone conclusion that the World will hate you. Jesus also plainly told us that it is not only the World, but even some in our own Family that will hate you, for His name sake. Remember, He told us this plainly..

{Luke 12:51-53}

"Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law."

Why? Same reason the World will hate you. Jesus is the only way? Or Jesus is not. God's plan of Salvation is simply acceptance of Jesus's sacrifice, or any Religion is good enough to get to Heaven. Just being a good person can get you to Heaven? Or there is no Heaven.

Also, you, were once one of them. You were once living the same, believing the same, "knowing" the same. The deeper or greater the Sin, {in a Worldly Sense}the greater the hate. Let me say that again. The greater the Sin, the greater the hate. The deeper the cut. The deeper the hurt.

In other words, you and your Sister grew up with Sally. Sally came out as a Lesbian. Sally met Jen and they have been in love and together for the last ten years. Now, they just received the best news ever. The Supreme Court said they have a "Right" to Marry. They are happier than they have ever been and they, and your Sister, come to you and say, "Is this not great news?"

But you have been called out. You have received the Spirit of Adoption. You have been filled with God's Word, and you say, Homosexuality is Sin. This will hurt them. It will cut them to their very Spirit. They love you, and you just, in their minds, rejected them. They will HATE you. They will never accept you again. They will go on the rest of their lives hating you. 

They will accuse YOU of the one who is wrong. Sinning. They will accuse you of being a Hypocrite. They may even attempt to hurt you they way they feel you hurt them. They may spread lies and they may try to get you fired. ETC. Hey, if those that hate God, will attempt to close down businesses that they feel do not support them, imagine what those will do who feel that you betrayed them?

Peter also warned us about this..

{1 Peter 4:12-14}

"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified."

During the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus made this statement.

{Matthew 5:10-16}

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you."

Why? Because WE are the Salt and the Light of the World, we MUST remain as such, and not worry about those that hate us...

“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."

It does not matter what Man says about you. It only matters what you do. It only matters what GOD says about you. It doesn't matter that the World may, WILL, lie about you. Look at this...

"Inside, the leading priests and the entire high council were trying to find witnesses who would lie about Jesus, so they could put him to death. But even though they found many who agreed to give false witness, they could not use anyone’s testimony."

Later before Pilate, one of the lies and false accusations they leveled was this “This man has been leading our people astray by telling them not to pay their taxes to the Roman government and by claiming he is the Messiah, a king.” Yet, if you remember, Jesus ACTUALLY told people to PAY their Taxes. "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's." So this is a blatant lie. So make no mistake about it. They blatantly lied about Jesus, they WILL lie about you.

What matters is how you chose to respond. What matters is how you chose to live your life for God, regardless of what they may say about you. Peter told us...

{1 Peter 2:12}

"Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation."

We will be hated. We will be accused of all sorts of nonsense. We will be lied about. But be of good cheer Child of God, we are in good company. Be of good cheer Child of God, you are pleasing the Father. Be of good Cheer Child of God, you will be found to be true. We cannot control what the World thinks, does, or anything else. All we can do is trust in God and live the way He tells us we should.

Always remember this truth as well. Sometimes we have more of an effect on others but what we do, than we will ever have, in what we say. The World is watching. But then again, so is God. Time to chose which side you are on. Are you a Child of God? Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray..

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}

Psalm 127

1 Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

But Whom Say Ye That I Am?

Are you pulling a Peter?

The World will tell you there are many ways to Heaven. The World will tell you that if you say Jesus is the only "Way, the Truth, and the Life," you are a Hateful, Bigoted, Homophobic, Chauvinistic, Simple Minded, Close Minded, Fool, that hates anyone that does not look like, think like, or believes the way you do. The World will tell you that Jesus was a GREAT teacher. Compassionate, Leader, Philosopher, or whatever. They will tell you Jesus would not condemn anyone. Judge anyone. He would Love everyone regardless of how they live their lives.The World will tell you there is NO difference in "Christianity" and any other Religion out there.

You see, this is not new. We have historical Proof, that a Man named Jesus, actually lived. We have Proof that He lived when and where the Bible tells us. There is no doubt about it. But who was He? Even when Jesus was still walking among us, while He was performing miracles and teaching Salvation, the World acknowledged He was here, but not who He actually was..

{Matthew 16:13-19}

"When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets."

The World will still say these things. They will still denounce Him and His Godhood. They will still reject that HE is the Door. He is Salvation. He is the Lord of Lords. The World will still reject His true person. But then He asked them directly....

"He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?"

Of course you know the answer. Peter said who He was and Jesus made that famous statement...well, here keep reading...

"And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Now remember this moment. This is where Peter got his name Peter, This is where many mistakenly think Jesus appointed Peter to be the first Pope. Not true. But this is also one of the biggest events in history, and most definitely in Peter's life.

Just like Peter, you believe,,,

{John 3:16-18}

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Just like Peter, you believe,,,

{John 10:1-18}

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father."

Just like Peter, there is no doubt in your mind at all, that

{John 14:6}

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

However, when the World came to Peter, and asked him, are you "one of them?" He said “Woman, I do not know him.” Then again, the World came to him and asked if he was "one of them." He said “Man, I am not.” A third time, the World came to Peter, and a third time Peter denies Jesus Himself.. “Man, I do not know what you are talking about.”

Remember, not too long before this, Jesus actually GAVE Peter his name. Jesus actually said to Peter,

 "upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

This is the same Peter that walked on water with Jesus. The same Peter that was there and witnessed the Miracles first hand. The same Peter that became one of the "Greatest Saints" to ever walk the Earth. The Same Peter that people felt his very Shadow would heal them.

Yet? When the World came to him, and asked, Who is this Jesus? DO you believe He is Lord? Are you "one of them." Peter denied and rejected Jesus and his person. Make no mistake about it folks. The World IS going to come to you. The World WILL ask you, "Who is this Jesus? Do you believe He is Lord? Do you believe He is the only way? Are you 'one of them?'"

Oh, the World may come to you in the form of an enemy. However, it may come to you in the form of a loved one. A lover. A Child. A Parent. A Boss. A Long Time Friend. Someone you just became interested in. Oh, the World consists of all these people. Some will hate you. Some will reject you. Some will think bad things of you. If you tell the Truth, "YES." Jesus IS Lord. YES. Jesus IS the only way. YES. I AM 'one of them.'"

You could lose the relationship. You could get fired. You could, in a growing increased number of reasons, you could even get arrested. When the World comes to you, and asks you, "Are you one of them" What do you say? When Jesus looks into your eyes, and He asks you "But whom say ye that I am?"What do you say? "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." {Romans 1:16}

Are you willing to take a stand for Jesus? Are you willing to stand for the Truth. Are you willing to tell someone the only Truth that could possibly Save their very Soul? Or are you going to pull a Peter? The World will tell you Jesus is anything but what He actually is. He knows what the World thinks of Him. He was here. He was abused. He was Tortured. He hung on a Cross for you. He wants to know "But whom say ye that I am?"

Are you a Child of God? Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray..

Striving To Become a Fool

This is something to strive for?

Ever look around and wonder, what is going on? Ever think to yourself that it is getting harder and harder to suffer Stupidity. And Stupidity seems to be growing at light speed. Ever get discouraged at the growing ignorance in this Country. Including some of those that are charged with leading it?

The sad truth is, the World is the same as it has always been.

{1 Corinthians 2:7-8}

"No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God—his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began. But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord. "

However, America seems to be catching up. Why? We removed God. See, we founded this Country in the Name of God. "One nation under God." "In God we trust." We founded this Country on the Judaeo-Christian tradition, values, and beliefs. Now we have all but removed God from ever aspect of it. Schools, Public Square, Family, and even Religion itself in some cases. Look what we have now.

Why? Because when you remove the Wisdom that is God, something else takes it's place. The Wisdom of the World. Here in lays the problem...

{1 Corinthians 3:19-21}

"For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;"

You see Child of God, if you want to find true Wisdom, you must be careful not to settle for the Wisdom of the World. You must look to the things from above...

{James 3:14–18}

"But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace."

We may, as a Country, as the World, we may, call Sin, Good, and Good, Sin. We may come up with complex ways and complex thoughts. We may have become Wise in our own eyes. We say, we have evolved in our thoughts and ways. That we have become "Enlightened." We no longer live in the "Dark Ages." We no longer need Religion and a concept that is thousands of years old. We are smarter, and better than that.

Used to be we would hear things like "There is no God." Or "Faith in God is foolish." Or "Homosexuality is good, right, and pure, and they should have the 'Right' to Marry." Or "It is OK, no, it is a 'Right' for a Woman to chose to slaughter her Child." The Majority in the Country would think THIS as foolishness, and would not even entertain what is CLEARLY Sin and against God.

Used to be the Bible was taught in Schools. Used to be Families were whole, Mother, Father, no Government. It used to be Faith, Freedom, and Family, were the most important things in this Country. Breaks down like this.

Faith - God First.
Freedom - OF not from, OF Religion. Freedom to seeking God first.
Family - Family first. Not work. Not Government. Not anything else on earth was more important..

See, used to be, we put God first in this Country. The whole reason we are even here. We were forbid from working on Sundays, in some cases Saturdays {The actual Sabbath}. Business could wait til Monday. Families had the time and freedom to Worship God together.

Now? Do not mention God in Public. Most DEFINITELY absolutely, NEVER mention the Name of Jesus. Keep that Jesus stuff to yourself. NEVER tell a Woman she cannot have an "Abortion." It is her "Right." NEVER talk about Homosexuality being Sin. Gays now have a "Right" to Marry. Keep that God stuff to yourself. As a matter of fact, if you even share this God and Jesus stuff with your kids, and they say something in School, the Government may have to investigate you and your Family to see if you are actually abusing your Child. Are you teaching them to Hate?

So what do we do? Believe in the Word. Remember 1 Corinthians 2:7-8

"No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God—his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began. But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord."

"That is what the Scriptures mean when they say,

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”

But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.

When we tell you these things, we do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit’s words to explain spiritual truths. But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means. Those who are spiritual can evaluate all things, but they themselves cannot be evaluated by others. For,

“Who can know the LORD’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?”

But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ."

Let the world see this as Foolishness. The Word also declares that Jesus Himself, or rather His Resurrection is Foolishness to the World..

{1 Corinthians 1:23}

"But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness;"

You see, it's one thing to know this happened. It's another to understand how to put your Faith in action.To have knowledge is to have understanding or information about something. To have wisdom is to have the ability to apply knowledge to everyday life. It is only in the reading and understanding of God’s Word that we can obtain TRUE knowledge, and by meditating upon that knowledge, brings wisdom.

God warns us this...

{1 Corinthians 1:18-31}

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate." Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.

Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things--and the things that are not--to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."

The Word declares.

(Proverbs 1:7)

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction”

Yet, many claim that there is no God. We know that...

{Psalm 14:1}

"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good."

So you see, the question is, who do you wish to become a Fool for? God, or the World. Who do you chose to serve. As for me, I am striving to become a Fool for Christ. Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray..

Why Things Are The Way They Are

Have you ever wondered?

America? The Country founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ? The Ten Commandments hanging in our Courtrooms? God being removed from Public. Religious Freedoms being stripped away. Some of our Churches have become corrupt, calling Sin Good and Good Sin. Freedom in general being taken away..

The Murder of the most innocent of all life, is called a "Right."
Homosexuality is called a Protected Class.
Gays now have a "Right to Marry."
Christianity is being attacked at every side.
Children of God are being slaughter all around the World.

The sad truth? Some very good people {In a world sense}are standing and applauding all these things. Well, maybe not the Child of God being Slaughtered. That they just ignore. Why? Why are things the way they are? Is there something we, as Children of God be doing in this Dark Time?

{2 Timothy 4:3-4}

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

We are in this time..Paul warned us of this time as well..

{Romans 1:20-25}

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen."

You see, when you remove God, something else always takes His place. When you remove Morals, and create an anything goes society, the reality is, well, anything goes. Remove God from Public Schools? Look at their state now. Remove God from Family? Look at it now. Remove God from Society, look at it now.

It is going to get worse folks. Jesus told us this...

{Luke 12:51-53}

"Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law."

He also told us this...

{Mark 13:12-13}

"Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.."

How can this be? Jesus, came to earth, for the sole purpose of dying for all. He came to earth knowing that we would beat, torture, and kill him, did so anyway. He came so ALL could find Salvation and escape Hell. How is it, that people can hate Him? Why do they hate those that follow such a man?

If you accept a Heaven, then you must accept there is a Hell. If God? Then the devil. If good, then Sin. If Hell, Sin, Good and Evil, exist, then there is accountability for actions. Then you have the fact that many saw the first Religions as a good way to control people. They turned Religion into a tool for control and yes, even profit. Jesus does not require following rules and regulations. He does not require you blindly follow some man.

Then another major reason is this. They do not want to think about Jesus being the only way because to do so they have to accept that those they love who chose not to follow The Christ, are lost. They remember past Loved ones and think that they must be in Heaven, regardless of whatever they believed or did, while they were alive. So here comes you, telling them, there is no other way. That the Way, Truth, and Life, is Jesus. That all they have to do is believe. They cannot comprehend the concept. So they attack.

Remember what Jesus told us, that a Servant is not greater than his Master, so since the World hated Him, they will hate us as well for His name sake. Be careful Child of God. Be careful you do not fall for the more successful tools of the devil. Organized Religion is a tool of the devil. Confusion and Chaos, are tools of the devil. If your local Church is Preaching anything other than the Gospel, there is no Salvation there. If they leave Jesus out, or include things that are clearly taught against in the Bible, they are a tool of the devil. Compassion and Inclusiveness, are tools of the devil. Be careful Child of God.

Live as you will, as long as you do not hurt anyone, well, mostly, is not Biblical. Now it even depends on who you are, or what you do, that decides if hurting someone is OK. Black person kills Black person, no one cares. Black person kills Whiter person. No one cares. White person kills Black person, National News. People come out to call for the Slaughter of the White person. Can you say divide and conquer?

This is also another reason so many Religions have come into being. Imagine if all Religions were one. If all people were united. NOTHING could possibly stand against us. Divide and conquer.

These dark times are not coming. They are here. We are living in them. So what is a Child of God to do in these times? Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 4

{2 Timothy 4:1-8}

"I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine."

Again, he is warning us that...

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry."

He tells us that WE, as Children of God, MUST remain Faithful to the one True God, and we MUST, be Sowers of the Seed. We MUST "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine." We might just be the last Hope that some of Mankind will ever have. A Light in the Darkness. A Beacon of Hope. If we do? We will share in the Glory..

"For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."

WE are the Hope. We, the true Church, is what needs to be in the World but not of it. We, the Church, is all that still stands in the way of total destruction of all things. We the True Church, the Body of Christ. must not compromise. We must not "evolve." We must not fall into the traps. We must rely on God.

{Ephesians 3:20-21}

"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."

Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you been adopted into the Family of God? If not, say this Prayer. Right now. Wherever you may be. Say it in your own words, and do not doubt in your heart. God will hear you. He will send the Spirit of Life to you. Let us Pray..

"Oh heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus's sacrifice for me. I repent my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!"

That's it. It really is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9} You need to find a Church that God leads you to, and be Baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A new Creature. You "have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." {Colossians 3:10}
